One of the worse hospitals while giving birth the nursery nurses are so unprofessional woudnt recommended to give birth here.

Went in for a routine treatment, lady at the desk was extremely rude with bad attitude they had us waiting in a waiting area for 40mins then she comes in and tells us we're in the wrong place after they told us to wait in that specific area. They didn't even know if I was going to be seen by the doctor made us wait HOURS. Extremely annoying they can't respect my time. They don't know what's going on themselves. read more

Laura Sandra was the nurse that was assigned to my brother. So let me start by saying this my brother just had surgery on his stomach. I had ask the nurse for a blanket because my brother was cold and she said she'll get one, also it already seem she had an attitude when I asked her. I can understand if someone having a bad day but that doesn't mean she has the right to be rude. We wait for like 15min then I asked another nurse for a blankets. Then Laura told the other nurse she was getting him one with an attitude. She came in the room and tossed the folded blanket right on top of my brother injury. So I asked her name and thought she said it was Lisa Sandra. As I was walking towards my brother room, I had noticed that her name tag was Laura, so I asked the other nurse that came into my brother room what was the prior nurse name and she didn't know who I was talking about, I said her name was Lisa Sandra and the nurse said there isn't any name that goes by that here. So I said well it might be Laura cause her name tag said Laura. Then the nurse knew who I was talking about. I told her what happened and the nurse replied saying yes I know she known for having a attitude and that she apologized and asked if I wanted to speak to her an I said no I just want a different nurse. Laura felt the need to be an unprofessional ignorant nurse and confront me an got in my face with her badge in my face, yelling at me saying she didn't lie. I told her to step back because she was too close and I felt like she was gonna attack me. That she said her name was Laura not Lisa an I said ok I might have missed heard you and then she said why didn't you ask again with an attitude and shut the door in my face. It's very inappropriate an unprofessional that a patient can't feel comfortable or safe at the hospital where he trying to find help and treatment. It's very inappropriate to be arguing back in forth when she could've apologized for her actions. Also one more thing It's also inappropriate for a nurse to be working there if the other nurse is telling me she has multiple complaints about Laura Sandra. read more

Horrible hospital! ALL MEDICAL STAFF we came in contact with were rude. It was impossible to get any answers about test results, and when asked about them the patient was treated HORRIBLY. It was dirty and many areas seemed more than unsanitary. Security was a joke and we couldn't find him half the time to let us in! Please if you are having a baby AVOID this place! If you're hurt and need help drive to Mexico you will get better care! read more

Watch out for Joseph, the security guard with a god complex working the ER entrance on Sunday, 31 January at around 1400 hours. He'll tell you, as a parent to a minor patient, that you can't leave to get food. You either have to starve, eat the mystery meal from the hospital cafeteria (which you have to pay for upon delivery and its GROSSLY overpriced), or order from Doordash and pay extra for delivery. Despite me, the father of a minor patient, coming and going all weekend (Friday and Saturday) to get meals, he's the only one to give me any issues upon my return (with bags of food in hand, mind you.) I understand there are some COVID precautions in place but hassling a dad trying to feed himself and his daughter is just ridiculous. read more

They are very good at keeping a positive impact on the patients and their loved ones I love their passion for being able to make sure they accomplished the procedure when we thought it could not happen but failure was not a option for them or us. I would give this hospital zero stars if I could. The staff is rude and incompetent. You can't ask them anything because they look annoyed. And if the nurse isn't under your care she will simply ignore you or like what happened to me: yell at you and tell you that she wasn't your nurse for simply asking how long test results usually take. When my mom was there, the rn also almost injected the wrong medication. Thank God my dad demanded for them to double check. And that's cause she was in an intensive care unit. I hate this hospital, if you're in weslaco I suggest you go to the smaller hospitals like South Texas ER or Valley Baptist Micro Hospital. They will be transferred to Harlingen or McAllen but trust me, the miles don't matter when you know your loved one and/or you are getting better help than Knapp ever could give. I don't recommend this hospital at all!!! I'm surprised how they're still even open. read more

Would never recommend this hospital to anyone. First of all the nurse in the ER (Felicia) when I asked her if she or someone could help my sister because she needed the bedpan she said that she couldn't because my sister was to heavy and she could hurt her back. This is my sister's second hospital stay in the past 5 months and they still do not have hot water. This past week when I was there I got her up from bed to help her shower unfortunately I couldn't because there was no hot water. So the 4 days she was there she was unable to shower due to there being no hot water. She had no phone in her room so I constantly had to be calling to the nurses station so they could take her the phone to speak to her. The nurses she had on the 6th floor she has no complaints about Desiree and Joe she said they both treated her with respect and were very nice and also her CNA Diana. Other than that the ER staff which I witnessed first hand was horrible. Especially the LVN Felicia and if they had a CNA in the ER we never saw her because they never went to the room. This is one place I would never recommend ever. read more

Just had a family emergency that was handled by this hospital, and the security staff made the whole situation horrible and added to the stress of the situation. Very rude security at the ER that made it very difficult to see our loved one. The medical staff was great and very helpful and accommodating. They were the saving grace of this hospital. Security was extremely rude to stressed families AND to other members of hospital staff!! read more

My wife went to labor here and the facility is a great place the only thing is when they put her the epidural shot for the contractions they put it on wrong and it numbed all her body so they had to wait till it wore off to try it again and not to mention right after it wore off she was delivering already so she basically didn't have the epidural to help her, but aside from that the staff was helpful and the if it wasn't for that situation I would rate a 4/5 star read more

I was recently a patient at this hospital and it was the best hospital I have to in a long time. The ER was very efficient in diagnosing my condition, starting IVs and making me comfortable until a room was ready. When I was moved to a room within minutes a Doc was there and he was outlining a plan to get me well. All the doctors assigned to my case were very professional talked in way that I understood. The rest of the Rn etc went way beyond what was required if I could give this hospital 20 I certainly would. By the way I'm 87 years old and hard to please. read more

I have been renting their conference room's for a couple of years now and things have just gone completely down hill. None of their equipment ever works, you can never get help when you need it and this last time I had rented the rooms they had allowed another group to go in and set up for their event that wasn't until the following day. My event was set to start within the next 2 hours, it was a disaster. Now I've been trying to reach Michael for the last 3 weeks to get a copy of my paid receipt for my expenses, I've sent him several emails and have not heard anything back from him.
