Boy I sure miss him. That process was EXCELLENT and rid me of all pain and able to walk easy and fast. No one does this in the lower Rio Grande Valley any more. So today went to see Dr. Raul Maldonado. He doesn't do cyrosurgery but he was very nice and explained everything to me. He took time to go over what I thought was another Morton's Neuroma and found out it was something else and wrong type of shoes. Of course getting old has a lot to do with it and arthritis. I appreciate the time he took with me but still miss Dr. Cavazos and the cyrosurgery process. One of those shots in the foot was like a new day. LOL

PROS: so far, he seems to know what he's doing, somewhat arrogant, seems annoyed most of the time…read more CONS: he DOES NOT give scripts for durable medical equipment (DME); I needed a knee scooter or walker after my bunionectomy so my insurance recommended that I call my PCP, Luis Delgado, MD, and get a script from him eventhough it's not his responsibility. The insurance recommended this! So, I did. Luis Delgado staff member, Ramiro de Leon, was very professional and compassionate and immediately wrote a prescription.

She has never been wrong about my problems and takes care of them in a very businesslike way, along with a side of humor. What I did not appreciate how honesty turned to more a condescending tone quickly. Reprimand me for not doing a follow up, fine. Then she continued to tell me how wrong I was about a sample collection I brought in, fine, okay. She went on about the notes in the previous appointment 6 years previously, I guess she felt I needed a refresher, fine. I actually apologized claiming to possibly not hearing her correctly at the initial visit. She was a avalanche of anger just waiting for me this specific day, my luck. It just got worse. When she asked me to stick my feet straight out for the exam, I was trying.The seat was upright, she positioned it back some, I am tall, I started to get a cramp. Before I could actually put them out straight or had a chance to explain myself. She screamed, pulling on my feet and almost pulling me out of the chair. I was shocked, troubled for all the older adults in her care and unsuspecting future patients. I refuse further treatment immediately and I hope whoever reads this consider there options.
