Sheri is an advanced teacher, and coach to other Simply Music teachers too, and it's obvious one is in the presence of a master teacher. She makes learning fun and rewarding--we've been playing real songs by memory from the beginning without having had to start on the page (and now we are also reading relatively advanced pieces). Sheri is upbeat and positive and always ensures everyone in class receives an optimum experience of success. Though I was in an adult class, I sat in on some of the lessons for children as well (the program for 4-6 year old children is brilliant!) Sheri's ability to meet each student where they are at, and guide them successfully through the lessons is impressive. The beauty of this method is it's simplicity and the sneaky way they teach music theory without you even knowing you are learning it. Not only is she very pricey, she expects a huge down payment..... first month, last month, one time $25 enrollment fee. Not to mention the other necessary music materials that were a must which was another $50. She charges $40 for one single 30 min lesson that is a GROUP ZOOM lesson, with several kids. She was extremely inflexible, and nickle and dimes you to near death. After paying $199 for the first month, 1/2 of the 2nd month ( after much negotiation ), and $25 enrollment ) she never made a time a time to learn piano that was doable for our family. It had to be with a group which is nearly impossible to coordinate with other families. It seems she is very good at charging bogus charges and finding reasons NOT to return money that is rightfully not hers. Beware!

Gulia is an amazing and passionate teacher. She is so nice and patient with kids; our daughter looks forward to her music classes. Gulia goes out of her way to motivates her students, never loses temper or raises her voice, and still makes sure that music gets learnt perfectly. Our daughter also took the MTAC testing under her training and guidance, and received honor of merit which speaks for her quality of teaching. At the end of every year, Gulia organizes recitals for all her students. It is amazing to see how students' music skills evolve over time.

After learning the fundamentals, he lets students choose what they want to play and work on, which I know kept me engaged and interested. It has been 16 years of follow up and advice and I have to say, it has been a great 16 years. I became a professional in the years I worked with Tom.
