I used to have a job where I travelled by airline all the time. Delta would give you an individual pack of two Biscoff cookies and a drink. I was always asking for another round of cookies. This month's seasonal flavor is Biscoff cookie butter bundt. I selected this bundt flavor today and I have to say I felt like I was flying high when I scarfed it down. They had a special through their rewards program and with a code you could get buy one get one. I got the strawberries and cream as my second choice. Pro tips: If you order online you can request extra icing if that is your thing. Ordering online there is a 47 cent service fee. If you go into the store and purchase from the cashier you do not pay the fee, but select from what is currently available. This cake was... phenomenal! It was the most beautiful cake I've seen, the cake was not very sweet which was perfect because the sweet from the guava balanced out the flavors. The icing was THE best butter cream icing I've ever had... it was smooth, sweet and there was the tiniest hint of salt. The detail of the talavera tiles on the outside of the cake were so perfectly detailed. My guests couldn't stop talking about the cake. Thank you Bakery Makel, me encantó!
