We rented 4 quads from these folks for 72 hours. I think we put over 20 hours on them during that…read moretime. First off, the equipment was top notch, from the trailers to the 650 can am quads themselves. They were extremely burly, had 4WD and winches but in reality didn't need either except for the most challenging terrain. They are super fun 2 seaters though nothing broke down so we didn't need to put anyone on back. If you did have a break down though, you'd be in good shape. Then they wanted to charge me for a belt and not return my $1000 deposit. We were charged for the deposit and the the cost of the trip. I tried for 2 months to reach Brian, he would never call me back and the only communication i had was through his assistant, it was very frustrating. Needless to say i would not recommend Appalachian Adventures.
