In context, my husband and I had visited over 10 venues in our search and we stumbled upon the Edgewood on a whim and we're so grateful we did. The venue is STUNNING - it literally checked all of our boxes. Think classy, elegant, bright, airy, and then some! An amazing indoor and outdoor ceremony space, a grand ballroom, a picturesque bar and cocktail area, and a breathtaking golf course to take photos on. From the very beginning, the staff at Edgewood, especially Taylor, has been absolutely amazing. They are quick, responsible, detailed - they answered all of my questions and even made suggestions on things I didn't even think about. Honestly, thanks to their help, wedding planning went so smoothly. Also, bonus points that they had an AMAZING food tasting, which tons of other venues didn't even offer. We're foodies so this was huge for us! We'd love to relive it again. From the very beginning, they were dedicated to helping us make our dream wedding and they saw it through to the very end. The staff at the Edgewood are TRUE professionals - that isn't even enough to describe how good they are at their trade. They are a well-oiled, high functioning machine. We didn't hire a wedding planner and truthfully, we didn't need one. That's how good the staff at Edgewood was - even all of my vendors couldn't stop commenting about well timed everything was and how on top the staff was. Everything about the wedding day was perfect. From the second we arrived at the venue, we were well well taken care of. Our attendants anticipated everything! The cocktail hour was AMAZING - food out the doors - until now, everyone can't get over how much food there was, how attentive the servers were, and how quick they were to refill everyone's plates. You cannot go wrong picking the Edgewood Country Club as your venue. They don't get enough credit - they are a hidden gem and everything is worth it. Lastly, a huge thank you to the staff at Edgewood - especially Taylor, Eric, Gigi, and my bridal attendants. You guys were all amazing and we are forever grateful to you all. The food was spectacular, and our guests are still reaching out to tell us how amazing everything was. From the stunning ballroom to the incredible service and bartenders, every detail exceeded our expectations. A very special thank you to Taylor and Eric, who truly made the experience unforgettable. They were everything you could possibly need and more, always right there to assist us and ensure we were taken care of at every turn. We will be reliving this day for the rest of our lives. It was truly a magical experience, and we are so grateful to the entire team at Edgewood Country Club for making our wedding day perfect.

Her kindness and empathy will never be forgotten. Jaclyn made herself available to me at any time night and day and even on her days off. She ensured every detail was taken care of with much thought and an impeccable level of attention. We had special menu item requests and dietary restrictions which were not only met but exceeded our expectations. Thankful it all went very smoothly given the difficult time and very little notice to plan such a large gathering. Any last-minute changes were accommodated with ease. Staff was absolutely wonderful and beyond exceptional!!! Everyone raved about the delicious food, beautiful venue, setting and overall experience. We all found a lot of peace and comfort there and are very grateful we selected Knollwood. HIGHLY recommend Knollwood for any of your future functions. Jaclyn is truly amazing!!! At the last day (Sunday) of the Barclays PGA event here, and they spared no expense on the staffing…read morehere (I was a guest of Barclays, fyi). Parking in multiple lots (though the signs sometimes led people astray, too many choices in the jughandles of NJ, I guess). Lots of vendors and sponsors coming in; one down side was a lack of clear bags from the vendors (too much to carry), I wish they'd had a locker system to take advantage of placing things within to safekeep as you walked around the course. The course was beautiful, green, and cool (the weather was perfect), and the grounds crews were bustling (the cart drivers moved too fast - almost did almost run me over twice). The PGA volunteers however were nice and pleasant, including Bill celebrating his 95th birthday! I like the location last year better (hard to beat the views at The Liberty National Course), but the setup was very familiar and perfectly interesting for most of the fans. The driving range was just at the entryway, which was nice, you had to walk past in order to get into the live greens, so good placement there. Had golf lessons all over (Mastercard, Barclays, NJ Golf Association, etc.), and a food truck section that looked mighty delicious with lobster rolls, French Cajun, fried cheese curds and other options not normally found on a golf course. That was a nice touch, in my opinion. The facilities were top-notch if you were near the 18th green. Once you ventured further out, though, the lack of bathrooms was more evident, although plenty of vendors all over. And odd sign flickering issues as they switched from stat to stat at several locations (I blame the electronic sign vendor on that one).

The restaurant in particular has wonderful food: this evening I really enjoyed the prix fixe meal with the fig salad and the swordfish, with the fig crostini for dessert. The service was excellent, the atmosphere lovely, and the staff at the club seemed to know everyone. A bonus was the wonderful view we had while dining. It's at a higher elevation than you see looking south, so you can see forever when the weather is good. If you get a chance to go you definitely should!

I've always walked the course when I've played here (as a guest) with a caddie, and the caddies are outstanding, and the pace of play is excellent. It has outside seating next to the 18th hole. The chicken they served was some of the best I have ever eaten. Third, the pool area is beautiful. Fourth, the golf course is beautiful. A nice mix of holes. The first hole you hit downhill which is really cool. Fifth, the staff in the clubhouse are extremely friendly. Try the Spaten beer on tap. Delicious. If you get an opportunity to come here, do not pass it up.
