I usually order a diet coke or a seltzer. The appetizers each year are as follows: There is a mashed potato bar that has white potatoes and sweet potatoes. The toppings include gravy, bacon, broccoli, cheddar, and other assorted items. There is a meat carving station that has pork and roast beef. There is also a pasta bar available that serves a tomato and a cream sauce with either penne, ravioli, or tortellini options with parmesan cheese. Chocolates are put at each seat as well for guests to take home. There is a DJ that plays music, a photo booth or red carpet of some kind, an auction that has items for sale including skin care, fashion items, gift baskets, restaurant, and spa certificates. The CLC is also given a spot in the room to showcase the artwork created by the organization's residents. The choir also comes to sing a couple of songs and the board of the CLC foundation will usually put a speech together to honor those who were major donors of the year. The food, prepped, cooked, plated, and served by staff in the kitchen have options such as steak, fish, chicken, or a vegetarian pasta. Dessert is a cake cut for party-goers and a platter of cookies/chocolate covered strawberries. I've enjoyed every party each year that was so graciously hosted by the CLC Foundation and the Green tree Country Club. The Green tree Country Club provides them with a beautiful, clean, and reliable venue. I am grateful to them every year because they host events so thoughtfully with style and class.

I had a feeling that the restaurant would be a place that was trying to be fancy without being truly fancy. It felt like the signs of attention to customers were there, without much actual caring about the customers or attention to our experience on the part of the staff, besides our actual server. The restaurant was doing most of the right things, but without as much care or attention as they are done in truly fancy or upscale restaurants. This made me think of how, in the Ritz Carlton properties, the management has worked so hard on instilling a company value of attention to customer experience, and how difficult it is to actually create this attention when it is not there. In a place with truly remarkable service the staff does not just act like it cares, it actually cares. And, more importantly, they have made it so much a part of their nature that it does not seem like work. Would I revisit this restaurant and why? I would revisit this restaurant because the setting was beautiful, the food was good, and the service was efficient and did not really mess up my enjoyment of my companions and our enjoyment of a beautiful summer night. I would not go if we could not sit outside, because that would remove the actual point of going in the first place. If the service were truly great, I would tell my friends that they should go, or even that they should join the club!

The conditions are excellent and the greens rolled fast and are very tough. The driving range allows you to hit any club in your bag. They recently opened up a new pool house with seating and a beautiful bar. Food was excellent. I wish I lived closer but if you get the opportunity to play here, do not pass it up. You will not be disappointed.
