Our realtor recommended this company for our home inspection last fall. Since moving into the house we have found many issues that he should have found which he did not. The kicker was when I was doing some investigating on why my air conditioning electricity bill was so high I found that one of the air handler returns was open and venting the cooled air into the attic. I also found a vent pipe in the attic missing sections so that it was disconnected in two places. The items he missed have cost us several thousand dollars so far. I just hope that is the extent of it. I sent him an email regarding this and he has not even responded. read more

We are in the midst of selling our home. The buyer arranged to use this company to do the home inspection. Upon our return to our home, we noticed the stove had been pulled out., but was not placed back properly. Now the stove in on a slope & not even with the counter. My husband took pictures of the situation & sent them to our agent. He in turn sent them to this company asking them to come back & place the back in it's proper level position. Our agent has tried all day to reach the company with no response. We have now discovered that the receptacle by the stove was pulled out & not placed back properly. The company is very irresponsible & shouldn't be allowed in anymore homes to do inspections. JIMMY RILEY P.E. I booked a trip to Yuma just to be here for the termite treatment. Scheduled it a MONTH in advance. 10 minutes before my appointment time, they cancel it due to the "family emergency", leaving me absolutely screwed and scrambling to find another company that will treat the house in the short window of time while I'm here. We purchased a new home in October. It was a foreclosure so we were buying as is condition so really needed to know exactly what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. Knight vision came out at the recommendation of our realtor and did such a thorough job it was amazing. They inspected everything from the plugs to the roof to the pool etc. He was able to tell us everything that was wrong with detail and pictures and how to fix it along with a rough estimate of what it might cost to do so. I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone that needs an inspector and for sure use them again if I ever need something inspected again. We had so much detail with each thing it was amazing. We were able to pay right then with our credit card although they do charge a small percentage fee for the credit card payment, I wish I would have had my checkbook with me for that though the fee was only like $14. If you need an inspector look no more, this is your company to use!!!! read more

We used this company for a home we purchased last fall. The inspector missed several important issues and we had to call him back out. He then made up reasons why these issues were not important, yet called out several cosmetic items in his report that were not relevant to the purpose of the inspection. All he cared about was telling us that he had an Engineering degree that made him better than a regular inspector. I sent a letter to the company via our real estate agent and they said they would issue us a refund. They also pointed out that the inspector was no longer with the company. It has been two months and "the check is in the mail"...still waiting. We don't recommend using this company. We learned the hard way and it will cost us several hundred dollars due to fix the items they overlooked that could have been included in our real estate agreement. read more

If you want the absolute worst inspection use this loser. He missed so many things. If it was done properly I would or have bought this house. Said the roof "was good, really good". It has a great big dip in it and you can see from the ceiling there was damage $$$$$$ later to have it fixed. All of the sinks and tubs are plumbed backwards. There is a big rise in one of the floors. I have called him too many times to count. Would not do the professional thing and come and look at my problems. And don't get me started on that "lady??" Jimmy was super knowledgeable and very friendly! At the end of our inspection, he gave us a presentation and went over the items in the home that would need our attention. We received our inspection reports the next day helping us negotiate and close very fast. This is the third home that we have purchased and have used Knight Vision for two of the three. I'm not sure what these people are doing but its not HOME INSPECTIONS. If they had any clue about anything they we're looking at they would not have to make up crazy scenarios about why a home would need a GFI receptacle in a hallway. The home passed inspection and National Electrical Code. The story went like this...... "Lets say there were 6 girls in the master bathroom and they used all the GFI outlets pluging in hair curlers and hair dryers. They could run a extension cord from your outlet in the hall and could reach the sink.' Really? The first problem is the 6 girls in the master bathroom. The second is I could reach the sink from any outlet in the house or the neighbors house with extension cords. And now their NEW THING is the AFCI (arc fault interrupter) ......... I could go on. If they would just inspect and not try to impress maybe they would not miss the important things like they did on 2 inspections on our way in and on our way out of a home we bought here last year. DEAL KILLERS! Thank God most people have common sense and are smarter than these so called inspectors. The reason I'm warning you is because some are not! read more

Knight Vision did an outstanding job walking us through our home inspection. We highly recommend their services to all home buyers.

They inspected our future mobile home in the Foothills on March 11, 2016. They were only there 30 minutes and charged $295!!! There was several issues. He was very rude and hurried. We were told the washer had been run and all was good. We were told he did not need to go under the house because there were no leaks. The plumbing to the washer both hot and cold leaked horribly and the water runs down the wall and onto the ground under the home!!! We found this ourselves after he left. I asked for our money back and said I did not want his worthless report. We also spent lots of time and money fixing a leaking bathtub drain and a shower that poured onto the ground. I just hope I can save people money by using someone else to inspect their new home. read more

I am typically not one to complain or take the time to write bad reviews but I was truly upset with the customer service I received  or lack thereof when working with this company. I would not recommend Knight Vision Inspections, you won't know what you're going to have to pay for at the end. I called Knight Vision Inspections and spoke with Debbie to confirm what they charge for a home inspection before scheduling, charges that were explained were as follows: $325 for the inspection if the home is under 2000 square feet (which the home was) it was also explained that a pool inspection was $75 and termite inspection was $35 if requested. I agreed to schedule the inspection. Jimmy was my inspector he seemed to be pretty thorough so my complaint is not with the inspector, when he got there he noticed there was a pool and asked if I wanted him to check the pool I said yes , for the most part the home was in pretty good condition in regards to the outcome of the report. Most repairs mentioned were GFI's and Stucco fixes and the pool light was not working. At the completion of his inspection he asked how I would like to pay, I mentioned I had some cash on me but I didn't think enough to pay for the full inspection so it was mentioned I could arrange payment. So Debbie so eager to get paid as though I wasn't going to pay was calling and texting me in regards to payment. I called on my lunch break the following day and was going to pay over the phone with a credit card but come to find out there was an extra charge to run a card payment so I asked her if we can just run it through escrow since there is a card charge I don't like random fees when I can get away with getting around them. I would have went down to their office and paid with cash had these fees been explained. She said yes they could run it through escrow, I obtained a copy of the invoice from escrow and my charges are as followed 2 line items one for home inspection with a total of 470.00 and then 2nd line item for $35.00 for termite inspection Grand Total of $505.00. Let me remind you I did not request a termite inspection nor did Jimmy go over any termite questions or concerns/nor was it on the report. I called and questioned what the charges were on this invoice, and nothing seemed to match up, she explained that going through escrow they charge $100 since they have to do paperwork and billing, which is find had that been explained to me. Therefore I am being charged $105.00 more than I expected to pay and nothing was done to correct this mistake (it's a mistake when I am being charged $35 for a termite inspection I did not request or receive, so why is it on the invoice.) It seemed as if there were random numbers thrown that Debbie just couldn't match up. The home buying process can be a stressful and costly process and this company was NOT helpful in my home buying experience therefore I would NOT recommend nor would I ever use this company again. read more
