The kicker was when I was doing some investigating on why my air conditioning electricity bill was so high I found that one of the air handler returns was open and venting the cooled air into the attic. I also found a vent pipe in the attic missing sections so that it was disconnected in two places. The items he missed have cost us several thousand dollars so far. I just hope that is the extent of it. I sent him an email regarding this and he has not even responded.

My husband took pictures of the situation & sent them to our agent. He in turn sent them to this company asking them to come back & place the back in it's proper level position. Our agent has tried all day to reach the company with no response. We have now discovered that the receptacle by the stove was pulled out & not placed back properly. He provided us with a quick rundown with what he observed and then followed up with providing us with a binder documenting everything! There were several cracked tiles on the roof that needed replacing. The home owner's realtor had arranged for a roofing company to come fix the broken tiles. The work on the roof was done so quickly that the home owner had doubts that it was done correctly. So, I contacted Victor and asked if he would be able to come by and determine if the tiles had, in fact, been replaced. He showed up within an hour of me calling and was able to determine that the tiles he noted as needing replacement had been taken care of. And, he did not charge me! If you want a good inspection done by a professional, Victor is your man!!

I did not even know this plumbing was behind the machine, and I was totally embarrassed at its condition. I called Area Plumbing and they scheduled me for the next day. As it happened, they had a cancellation on the afternoon that I called, and they came out that afternoon. It was a pleasure to deal with Preston and Jorge. They did beautiful work. Hannah, the receptionist, was also efficient and very courteous. They re-plumbed everything for the washing machine, and also took care of a problem with the shower and two hoses at the water heater. Much has been said about the high prices of Area Plumbing. For the type of work that was done, the amount of time it took, and the materials, I did not regard the price as too high. However, they looked at some other plumbing in my home, told me the price to make repairs, and it seemed high. The other work is not urgent, and I will do some price comparisons before making a decision. They charge a $98.00 evaluation fee, which is non-refundable and which will not be included into your total amount. This is a separate charge. Area Plumbing gained my trust, and so I lean toward using them again.
