But not only was the room great the staff was the most friendly of any hotel I have stayed in. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, but the hostess kept it stocked and was also very friendly. My husband is picky about his coffee and he thought the coffee was pretty good and it was a really neat coffee machine. The area felt safe with lots of shopping options near by. If we ever head back to this area, I would have no problem staying here again! Also, if you have time go look for all the Garfield's. :)

Upshot is - I think this is a good place and we're very likely to stay here again the next time we're in the Peru, IN area. The hotel is welcoming with a bright, open lobby, good, safe parking and friendly, helpful staff. The lobby was clean and featured a lot of conveniences for which snootier places would charge. Breakfast, as others have mentioned, was a real treat and Nicole was a whirling peach helping everyone out while evincing friendly interest in all guests. Our room was perhaps less perfectly clean than it might have been (either a large white-haired dog or a polar bear had recently been housed there, and housekeeping's noble struggles to mop up all the residue weren't 100% successful) and the bathtub drain was slow and allowed water to pool around my ankles during just a quick shower. Here's the thing, though: we were headed to a wedding shortly after we arrived and were only there for one night. I'm CERTAIN that if I'd mentioned these issues to the folks at the front desk, they would have been rectified tout suite. I didn't, though, because I didn't have the time. (I mentioned them in response to a "How Were Things?" email from management - hey, and that email itself is a great sign, eh? - and got a royal apology and a promise to jump on fixes.) And other family members staying at the Best Western Circus City Inn had nothing but high praise for the cleanliness and functionality of their quarters. Ours was just bad luck - what are you gonna do? It happens. So, while _our_ experience was maybe a little flawed, I think that was unusual and the hotel itself is a solidly good place to stay in Peru.

Food places are a short drive and convenient. Pros: Awesome, friendly staff. From the FD to HK to the folks at breakfast. The hotel is clean while dated (I'll get to that later) . On site laundry that uses credit cards only. This is a hotel that has always exceeded expectations. The breakfast offers great rotating selection. You can also pick up a snack bag on the way out in the morning. Cons: Hotel is dated and in need of a remodel. I am told that a renovation is coming soon. The WiFi is good except you have to "renew" daily this is frustrating especially on an extended stay. Many hotels post Covid cut back in the customer service area not here! I stayed here pre Covid and this place has come back like nothing happened. Definitely recommend this place.

Not only was it inconvenient to the tournament, but the hotel did not appreciate the needed business. The hotel appears to be part tournament hotel and part Section 8/low income housing. The front desk staff was not friendly and accused some team members of doing things they did not do. I would try to stay in Indianapolis for tournaments, but if you have to stay in Kokomo, look elsewhere.

One of the worst nights I've had. A train came by after…read moremidnight. Blew its horn every 20 seconds for 5 min until horn faded into the distance. Come the morning, I was forced up bright n early as morning road noise from the street out front filled my room. I got a handicapped suite cause I have a wheelchair. Only 1 roll-in bathroom in the whole building, so the room I got had a bathtub and a shower seat. The shower seat doesn't fit in the tub properly and dumped me out of the tub onto the floor when I leaned to one side to wash. In the end, there is almost nothing you can do except get a discount for your horrible stay. Management just tries to deflect. Karen, the manager, claimed there are no trains near but I looked up the train lines through Marion and there are like 5. She would have been a good cop with those lies. Bottom line is I won't stay here again. Update - lost a star as they don't even have earplugs for their patrons with all the noise. Will move to Hilton down the street. They at least have earplugs.

I haven't stayed in one since I was a kid because at that time it was a well known brand to my parents. I am so glad I gave this place a chance, as an adult. Chase at the front desk is a delight, so helpful, and greets you with a smile. Not only will I continue to stay here while in town for work, but I will pass it along to other corporate co-workers!
