Our overall experience was kinda between "okay" and "good," but the great service bumps it up. We had a couple tiny problems that I suspect were just luck of the draw - not something one would expect. Upshot is - I think this is a good place and we're very likely to stay here again the next time we're in the Peru, IN area. The hotel is welcoming with a bright, open lobby, good, safe parking and friendly, helpful staff. The lobby was clean and featured a lot of conveniences for which snootier places would charge. Breakfast, as others have mentioned, was a real treat and Nicole was a whirling peach helping everyone out while evincing friendly interest in all guests. Our room was perhaps less perfectly clean than it might have been (either a large white-haired dog or a polar bear had recently been housed there, and housekeeping's noble struggles to mop up all the residue weren't 100% successful) and the bathtub drain was slow and allowed water to pool around my ankles during just a quick shower. Here's the thing, though: we were headed to a wedding shortly after we arrived and were only there for one night. I'm CERTAIN that if I'd mentioned these issues to the folks at the front desk, they would have been rectified tout suite. I didn't, though, because I didn't have the time. (I mentioned them in response to a "How Were Things?" email from management - hey, and that email itself is a great sign, eh? - and got a royal apology and a promise to jump on fixes.) And other family members staying at the Best Western Circus City Inn had nothing but high praise for the cleanliness and functionality of their quarters. Ours was just bad luck - what are you gonna do? It happens. So, while _our_ experience was maybe a little flawed, I think that was unusual and the hotel itself is a solidly good place to stay in Peru. read more

The front bumper of our car was involved in a collision earlier in the day and was still on when it started to drag on the ground. We started looking for someplace to pull over and stay for the night since it was dark and the hotel was our best option. Luckily, they had a room available. Our room was a little dated but it was clean and spacious. There are no USB plugs in the room so make sure you bring your chargers. It had the largest rain shower head I've seen with adjustable setting with good water pressure. They provide a good complimentary hot breakfast with a machine that provides fresh yogurt which was the tastiest we've ever had (better with granola!) and a pancake machine in a small dining room. There is a little coffee bar for something hot. There is a little toiletries bar for some things you may have forgotten. This hotel is a little gem! read more

Not a bad place it is just extremely dated. The staff is excellent and I love their ez and open parking. If you are hauling a trailer no problem. The breakfast is better than most (breakfast burritos) and solid coffee. The rooms are comfortable but the carpets seem like they need a good steam clean, it's like they are a bit tacky. Good water pressure and all the linens are nice. The employees got this place the 4 star otherwise the facility warrants a 3. I will be back. read more

I visit this hotel so I can spend time with friends in the area. Other reviews stated this hotel was 'dated' and while that may be true, they get a 10/10 for cleanliness. Everything is spotless and smells fresh. The Covid-19 friendly breakfast was very good! Bottomless coffee all day and all the staff is eager to help. Zero complaints here! read more

Staff was extremely friendly! Now the hotel itself served it's purpose for sure, but it definitely had some quirks. The pool is big, but one wall is plate glass window facing the lobby so if you are a self-conscious swimmer it can make for some unease. Also there are a handful of rooms on the second floor with balconies that look out to the pool. Very weird, the indoor pool must have been an addition later on the hotel. Also I thought I had booked a jacuzzi room, but was disappointed to find it was just a regular sized tub with jets so be careful looking at what you are booking. read more

We needed a decent place to sleep after our trip, and found this place, which discovered friendly and helpful staff who let us have a late checkout, provided laundry soap, giving a cheerful attitude that makes your stay all the better. They are pet friendly, and definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a hotel. read more

I spend several nights here every year, traveling for work. The updates are nice but I wish they would update the bedspreads. They still use the old fashioned motel style dark gold spreads, the sole purpose seems to be hiding dirt and stains. I greatly prefer the white spreads that are used in my favorite hotels. So this weekend my daughter has a cheerleading competition in Kokomo but weeks ago we checked to see if there were any hotels available, which they were all booked, so I looked for the nearest town and found this nice hotel here in Peru. My wife, kids and I were all very pleased with this hotel, rooms are clean, pool was clean which the kids enjoyed very much, and this hotel is in an area that is very quiet not a lot of businesses to cause any noise. If you want to go to any food or whatever kind of places there are plenty just minutes away. The rooms are very cozy and the beds were very comfortable. They serve breakfast here in the mornings as well. I'm surprised at how this hotel doesn't have better ratings, this place really keeps it clean here. Even the lady at the front counter was super friendly! If we ever decide to make another trip out here we just might have to make this our place to stay! read more

I recently stayed at the Best Western in the past month and really enjoyed my stay. I ended up in a suite, the Robinson Suite room 222. Let me tell you this is the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in I think. I have to say the coolest thing about the room is that it has a balcony over looking the pool which would be great if you have kids. The staff was very friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel. read more

This is just another one of your typically overpriced motels. Standard fare furnishings, and older style decor. Clean, and beds were comfortable. Not much exterior lighting and parking lot is not very well lit.
