Officially my favorite wing joint in Cincinnati! You walk in, find yourself a table, order your food and drinks up at the bar and they will deliver your food to you. This is definitely one of those "hole-in-the-wall" bars but not one to underestimate. It does tend to get super packed during game days. Came here late night and took full advantage of the great prices on tallboys, complete with free coozie. It is a very popular dive sports bar, with shuffleboard and free popcorn. It was crowded, even for a late weeknight, but there is plenty of seating. We had eaten earlier, so didnt get to try their famous smoked wings, which smelled amazing, so I look forward to coming back to try those. read more

I stopped here after getting off a plane and needing a quick lunch while I waited for my hotel room to be ready. Service was OK, not quick, but not overly slow. Had local beer selection which was appreciated. Opted for nachos, which I ordered understanding I would get a Midwestern version of the dish. Was it amazing? No. Would I try something else next time? This is a fun dive bar in downtown Cinci. It is nothing special to look at- but the food is legit and they have great TV's and NFL Sunday Ticket. We needed a chill place to watch the Eagles Sunday night game and grab some food and this spot was just around the corner from our hotel. They are well know for their wings and brisket so we ordered some of each. We had 8 smoked wings tossed in a tasty pineapple BBQ sauce and the show stopper- Brisket nachos. So freakin good!! Came here on a tip from our Uber driver on our trip to Cincinnati. He said the wings were on point and it was like the words went straight from his mouth into my boyfriend's heart. After going to the baseball game we had a hankering for wings and knew exactly where to go. This place was HOPPING. It was hard to find a place to sit or get a bartender's attention but not impossible. Given the crowd the bartender's attention was understandable. We were thankful to some folks who shared their table with us. The music was great. Lots of sports on the TVs. Bartenders were nice (if busy). We ordered a boatload of wings in a few different flavors. The wings were the perfect size, just the right balance of juicy and crispy. Lots and lots of sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. My only gripe is the temperature in here but the building looks old so perhaps that can't be helped. This place is super cool. It's a dive bar located in the heart of downtown Cinci. A dive downtown can sometimes be quite the unicorn. Hard to find, but beautiful when you do. The atmosphere is truly fun. The bartenders are always happy to serve and the patrons I've had a pleasure to interact with have been laid back and very nice. I almost feel like I'm sharing a prized secret. This is a great joint...shhhh!!! don't tell anyone and screw it up for those of us who love the atmosphere. It's always kinda dark here and the TV is playing random sports programs while music from several genres (thanks TouchTunes!) plays in the background. But then the wings came out...omg the wings...they are so, so good. One word of caution, the sauces are on the spicy side. I order mine nekid, with mild on the side and lots of fresh celery. Sad! This dubious little establishment is quite literally TRASH. On my latest (and now final) visit to this lil slice of hell, there were bits of saliva covered popcorn on the bar countertop. Ewwww! Gross! None of the employees were making any attempt to clean up and sanitize the slimy FILTH covering the bartop. I will also add that the owners, bartenders, other staff are ill mannered boors! Don't expect "service with a smile", should you make the ill-advised choice to patronize this dodgy joint. But the BEST aka WORST part of this *very unusual* experience is breathing the same air as the sad, misfortunate someones who gather here nightly. Unless you think rubbing elbows with the dregs of humanity will benefit you in some way, AVOID "Knockback Nats" at all costs. read more
