I came from out of town and was told to check this place out. When I entered there were bl it ten people at the bar and ten people at tables. I started to learn that after an hour the owners were the only people working. The male owner got frustrated at the female owner and started to yell at her. I was only able to order one drink in an hour and ten mins. I also waited 40 mins to close my tab(39 technically). This seems like a decent local spot but they need help! read more

Wow. What a classic downtown sports bar literally across the freeway from Paycor Stadium. I picked this place as it was within walking distance from our hotel and just across the freeway from Paycor stadium. Smoking pulled pork and chicken wings outside the front entrance was a good sign. If you're looking for a real-deal sports bar in Cincinnati look no further. My wife and I ended up coming here on back-back days while coming to Cincinnati for a Bengals game. The servers and management couldn't have been more welcoming to us. The smoked chicken wings were among the best I've had. The fried mushrooms and pickle chips were also outstanding. I highly recommend this establishment if you're attending a game or event at Paycor stadium. read more

We stumbled on this place when we were accidently walking to the wrong stadium. We stopped in and ordered a few rum buckets that were advertised on the wall. They tasted good but basically just a bunch of sugary juices with sweet rum. We also ordered their homemade (or so it said) jalapeno poppers. When they arrived I bit in to one and it immediately tasted like the restaurant depot ones that more restaurants serve. I was really hoping for a better homemade version of these. They still tasted good, just not what I was expecting. The place is pretty big and I imagine before Bengals games this place can get nuts. The bartender was awesome. Always checking on us and making sure our drinks weren't empty. Overall great place to go before or after a game. read more

Wow! The wood smoked wings and home cut fries here are phenomenal. The staff made my daughter and I feel so welcome too. We dropped in right after a Reds game had finished up and the place was hopping. We are from out of town (South Carolina) and we weren't sure where to eat. We were checking Yelp and Google reviews close to the Hyatt Regency and walked 2 blocks to check it out. As we approached, I saw the smokers outside and was encouraged that this place just might be the real deal. We asked several groups of folks coming out whether it was a thumbs up or thumbs down -- and they were all singing the praises of the wings. We smoke our own meats at home with a neighbor, and we have plenty of amazing wings and BBQ living in the Carolinas. And this place exceeded all expectations. It is now starred as a favorite and I'm sharing it with my friends. If you're in the downtown Cincinnati area and need a family friendly place, it 100% gets our vote. My daughter said it's the best food we've had this whole vacation, and I have to agree. read more

Wanted something close to my hotel so I walked down here to get a quick bite to eat and a spot to chill. The place was pretty empty but the lady behind the bar was great. I ended up getting the brisket sandwich and it was delicious! There was a good portion of meat on it and the flavor was great. Only downside is fries don't come with the sandwich. I also ended up talking to the owner and another customer for 20 minutes about sports and life in general. He was super nice and a pleasure to talk with, I found it nice that the owner interacts with his customers. I'd come back here for a drink and food again. read more

You shan't find a better place to watch sports, drink cold beer, and eat smoked meats in downtown Cincinnati than Kitty's. Service is great thanks to the steady hands of Billy and Betty. I had heard about Kittys, but always thought of it more as a pregame stop before Bengals games. I stopped by thanksgiving eve and I was surprised with how big the space was! There was plenty of dining room seating, as well as a full bar area. I saw the smoker out front so I knew the direction I was going to go as soon as I was ordering. Kitty's smokes their wings in the house with a green seasoning and the light amount of sauce. We came in with a larger party, so the food took a while, but it was worth the wait! The wings were easily the best that I have had in Cincinnati. I was a little concerned about the price point. It seemed a little high ($15 for 8 wings), but the wings were huge! I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. Another pro was the very reasonable drink prices. Domestic beers for three dollars downtown is a great find! read more

First time visiting and we loved it! The place has great ambience with sports memorabilia on the walls and a cool horseshoe shaped bar. The beer on tap was cold, fresh and tasty! However what blew me away was the quality of the food. We had smoked chicken wings and a cuban sandwich; both were delicious! It took about an hour to receive an angus burger that was supposed to be cooked medium. Se the picture and judge for yourself. I guess I should have ordered a live cow and maybe it would have been cooked right and been out before I was keeling over from hunger. Across from Paul Brown you'd think it's easy to spot but it's a little hidden. Place has tons of TVs, very open concept. New ownership took over about 3 years ago and they're taking it down the right road. Food was tremendous. They're known for their wings (my buddy got them and enjoyed). My sandwich was VERY good. I can't believe I've been this close to Kitty's for so long but never ate here. Always thought it was just a bar. Oh how wrong I was.. at the risk of diving into the war of wing places, I declare Kitty's wings to be The Best Downtown. I mean, slow smoked, then flash fried for that bit of crispness? Seriously? And homemade jalapeño poppers. And they smoke all their meats - I had to pick between a half a smoked chicken, a Reuben, and these wings. Just means I have to come back for the other menu options. I see burgers and onion rings, who knows what else I've been missing. Haha. Anyway, service was great, zero complaints, and if you like wings or smoked meats, I rate Kitty's a must-try. We've been to Kitty's a number of times for both Bengals pre game and/or to watch the game. The place is always packed which makes it fun however if you're going with a group you must get there early to get a seat! We usually order wings and fried pickles when we go, both very good. We got the last of the wings yesterday and they ran out of canned beer, not sure if that was due to the crowd or recent holidays but I was a little surprised. So glad we found Kitty's last night! My husband and i were in town and stayed at the AC hotel. We walked passed several options to get to Kitty's and it was so worth it!! The atmosphere was perfect for watching the game and the food was absolutely delicious!! We knew we were in for a treat when we saw the massive smokers outside. We ordered buffalo wings and each had a hamburger. I'm not typically a wing person but these wings smelled and looked so good i couldn't resist and my husband who loves wings said they were some of the best he's ever had. The burger was so good and i couldn't figure out why because it seemed so simple but it was on point!! Yum! The owner was there and you can tell running this place is truly a labor of love. I stumbled upon this sports bar while visiting Cincinnati. The first night I had already had dinner so I came to watch the Reds game. The bar had a great vibe and the people sitting recommended the smoked wings. I decided the second night I would come back for dinner before the Reds game. The food did not disappoint. I started with the jalapeño poppers and onion rings. Both were so delicious and I am not normally a popper fan but these had a great taste and not too spicy for me. I ordered the Kitty's Cuban which was such a great take on a Cuban. Pulled pork and smoked turkey. I would highly suggest this. History

Established in 2015.

Our first day of business was 09/18/2015,we completely renovated 218 West 3rd Street from the ceiling to the flooring. We added 13 HD TVs including 1 120 inch projection TV and 8 foot hood. We want to offer some great pub food and a unique atmosphere to enjoy watching sports. I think we have created a very home like pub to enjoy great food and fun with your friends and family.

Meet the Business Owner: Betty W.

Kitty's is a family owned business. The name comes from Miss Kitty's Saloon. Billy's mother bought and completely built the location 218 west 3rd street from the ground up in 1982.The horse shoe bar is her own design and is still beautiful. The building was originally a garage and turned 100 years old this year. She ran the business from 1982 and retired in 1996. She had been leasing the building out until august of last year. That is when renovations began. Billy and his family relocated from Jacksonville Florida to run the family business.

One evening I made a special trip down Riverside to visit. I really enjoyed this stop and will have to make a special trip again in the future. For starters, their smoked & stuffed jalapeños are delightful ($10)! Sausage, cream cheese, and cheddar are all inside, wrapped with bacon and smoked. They come served with house BBQ sauce on the side, but you may not even need it. The smoke flavor is really there on the bacon and mixes well with the creamy filling. For dinner, the naan street tacos are a solid choice. Pulled pork, peach BBQ, source cream, pickled onion, and green onion are packed inside of garlic naan and served taco style ($16). This is served with a very large side of mac and cheese. It is quite a filling meal! The tacos were great and the naan holds up really well to the juices and sauces, as compared to a soft corn shell.

Given this, it's very loud with different stations playing and folks cheering/ yelling. Don't expect to have any conversation except during commercials. This bar has a great atmosphere and decent food. We went for lunch on a Friday at around 11:30, and they were not super busy - which is great for downtown. I was quite pleased with the side salad (it was more than just a bowl of lettuce, like I've come to expect in most restaurants). The buffalo chicken sandwich was good as well. My friends all enjoyed their food. The reasons I'm not rating higher: Our server made it clear he was thoroughly disinterested in being there. We had to ask for napkins, silverware, condiments, etc. Also, the menu is unclear/inaccurate. A couple of examples: - the "Buffalo" Chicken Sandwich doesn't come with any sauce - if you want any sauce on the chicken, it's a 50 cent upcharge. - many menu items say they come with "hand cut chips". I subbed a side salad for mine, but my friends were given small bags of Grippos with their meals. The food and atmosphere were good. The service and menu inaccuracies were disappointing. I probably won't go back at lunch time but would give it a shot for happy hour. read more

My son and I flew to Cincinnati to catch the Dolphins vs Bengals game and found Kitty's Sports Bar across the street from the stadium Allow me to start off by saying everyone who worked in there were the nicest people you would want to meet not only they serve you but there took time to have a friendly conversation with us. Then came the best tasting wings I ever can remember having and I eat a lot of wings from different places. Not only the wings was great everything we ordered was great. We then told the waitress we was coming back in a few hours before the game she then promised to reserve our same booth and guess what even though the place was packed to the rim she came though and kept her promise.
