I picked this place as it was within walking distance from our hotel and just across the freeway from Paycor stadium. Smoking pulled pork and chicken wings outside the front entrance was a good sign. If you're looking for a real-deal sports bar in Cincinnati look no further. My wife and I ended up coming here on back-back days while coming to Cincinnati for a Bengals game. The servers and management couldn't have been more welcoming to us. The smoked chicken wings were among the best I've had. The fried mushrooms and pickle chips were also outstanding. Went here for a late lunch while visiting the city and before heading up the road to TLQ stadium for a soccer game. The man who I assume was the owner was very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Also, he was smoking fresh meat out front which smelled great and tasted great (we had the brisket, pork and turkey). The food was great all the way around (also had the loaded nachos). We stumbled on this place when we were accidently walking to the wrong stadium. We stopped in and ordered a few rum buckets that were advertised on the wall. They tasted good but basically just a bunch of sugary juices with sweet rum. We also ordered their homemade (or so it said) jalapeno poppers. When they arrived I bit in to one and it immediately tasted like the restaurant depot ones that more restaurants serve. I was really hoping for a better homemade version of these. They still tasted good, just not what I was expecting. The place is pretty big and I imagine before Bengals games this place can get nuts. The bartender was awesome. Wow! The wood smoked wings and home cut fries here are phenomenal. The staff made my daughter and I feel so welcome too. We dropped in right after a Reds game had finished up and the place was hopping. We are from out of town (South Carolina) and we weren't sure where to eat. We were checking Yelp and Google reviews close to the Hyatt Regency and walked 2 blocks to check it out. As we approached, I saw the smokers outside and was encouraged that this place just might be the real deal. We asked several groups of folks coming out whether it was a thumbs up or thumbs down -- and they were all singing the praises of the wings. We smoke our own meats at home with a neighbor, and we have plenty of amazing wings and BBQ living in the Carolinas. And this place exceeded all expectations. It is now starred as a favorite and I'm sharing it with my friends. If you're in the downtown Cincinnati area and need a family friendly place, it 100% gets our vote. Wanted something close to my hotel so I walked down here to get a quick bite to eat and a spot to chill. The place was pretty empty but the lady behind the bar was great. I ended up getting the brisket sandwich and it was delicious! There was a good portion of meat on it and the flavor was great. Only downside is fries don't come with the sandwich. I also ended up talking to the owner and another customer for 20 minutes about sports and life in general. He was super nice and a pleasure to talk with, I found it nice that the owner interacts with his customers. I'd come back here for a drink and food again. read more

I had heard about Kittys, but always thought of it more as a pregame stop before Bengals games. I stopped by thanksgiving eve and I was surprised with how big the space was! There was plenty of dining room seating, as well as a full bar area. I saw the smoker out front so I knew the direction I was going to go as soon as I was ordering. Kitty's smokes their wings in the house with a green seasoning and the light amount of sauce. We came in with a larger party, so the food took a while, but it was worth the wait! The wings were easily the best that I have had in Cincinnati. I was a little concerned about the price point. It seemed a little high ($15 for 8 wings), but the wings were huge! I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. Another pro was the very reasonable drink prices. Domestic beers for three dollars downtown is a great find! read more

Across from Paul Brown you'd think it's easy to spot but it's a little hidden. Place has tons of TVs, very open concept. New ownership took over about 3 years ago and they're taking it down the right road. Food was tremendous. They're known for their wings (my buddy got them and enjoyed). My sandwich was VERY good. I can't believe I've been this close to Kitty's for so long but never ate here. Always thought it was just a bar. Oh how wrong I was.. at the risk of diving into the war of wing places, I declare Kitty's wings to be The Best Downtown. I mean, slow smoked, then flash fried for that bit of crispness? Seriously? And homemade jalapeño poppers. And they smoke all their meats - I had to pick between a half a smoked chicken, a Reuben, and these wings. Just means I have to come back for the other menu options. We've been to Kitty's a number of times for both Bengals pre game and/or to watch the game. The place is always packed which makes it fun however if you're going with a group you must get there early to get a seat! We usually order wings and fried pickles when we go, both very good. We got the last of the wings yesterday and they ran out of canned beer, not sure if that was due to the crowd or recent holidays but I was a little surprised. So glad we found Kitty's last night! My husband and i were in town and stayed at the AC hotel. We walked passed several options to get to Kitty's and it was so worth it!! The atmosphere was perfect for watching the game and the food was absolutely delicious!! We knew we were in for a treat when we saw the massive smokers outside. We ordered buffalo wings and each had a hamburger. I'm not typically a wing person but these wings smelled and looked so good i couldn't resist and my husband who loves wings said they were some of the best he's ever had.
