Best wings in cincy. We were in town recently and stopped in after a Reds game (currently living in south Alabama). Even though it was Friday evening and the bar was busy and full- they took my order quickly and got out to go food to us within maybe 20 minutes max. Sauces are a bonus but you can eat them without sauce. I see other yelpers complaining about the service but we had great service. Came to Knockback Nats for the first time the other day for some wings with my boyfriend. We thoroughly enjoyed. The wings were an 11/10 on my scale, smoked perfectly served with as many dipping sauces as we wanted! Definitely a must have if you visit Knockbacks! We also ordered the chicken nachos. I LOVED the nachos. You get a huge portion and they are topped with smoked chicken, tomatoes, queso, lettuce, sour cream and salsa on the side. Good friend said their wings are the best and he was SPOT ON! I ordered 200 wings and a variety of sauces to feed a baseball team of 16 year olds and their dads. The wings are smoked and then crisped somehow. They're so flavorful, even without sauce. The sauces were all great, but we were particularly impressed with the mustard bbq. Nice little small pub in downtown Cincy. Not as close to other bars in downtown but it's still worth it. Wings are good, beverages are on the cheaper side especially in downtown. Popcorns great and sliders were good too. Service was quick too which is always a nice plus read more

Loved knockbats had an amazing time . We visited this bar before we went to the bengals game. Perfect distance from the stadium only about 15 minute walk . Nice bar very crowded when we got our table we were greeted with a freshly popped popcorn that was delicious . Next we ordered a 50 piece wings for our friends , THE BEST SMOKED WINGS , we didn't even need sauce , wings were extremely tender fall of the bone . Ask anybody in the city where the best wings are, you are sure to get a few "Knockback Nats." My Gf and I split 16 wings. They give you 3-4 wing sauces and ranch. I think you should get them coated instead of dipping them in the sauce, my mistake. Fall off the bone, smoked wings. The only issue you may run into is that some of the wings will be too charred/burnt but that's a sacrifice you gotta make. Don't worry about ordering fries (they were forgettable) just like a good steak doesn't need A1 sauce, great wings don't need fries. You order at the bar, and they do have free popcorn for you to enjoy while you wait. For a sports bar it's pretty dark in there, and not a ton of seating options, plus the TVs are too small. But, good wings are good wings and when you can get them at an affordable price then you get 5 stars, I don't make the rules. read more

Smokey with a great depth of flavor, these wings are a demonstration of how good wings can truly be. The vibe of the place is pretty cool. It kind of just grabs the whole what a neighborhood bar should look like in a midwestern city. Kind of a dark but warm atmosphere, a bit dated, but we all know that retro is always cool. Staff are cool and the drinks are cold. Add to that mix some great wings and you have an amazing combination. Five stars and they definitely get my recommendation. read more

Cincinnati staple. Snug sports bar, with a great staff who are a well oiled machine and a no fuss menu and approach. Came one day for a drink during a Bengals game then had to come back the day after for the free popcorn and wings!! I liked the wings, but I think they were a little too charred for being a classic smoked wing. Very meaty and a great size, but I would like to try them on a different visit to see if this was a fluke. With only 5-7 things on a menu and wings being the best thing they are known for and "the best in Cincy" they should always be on point. The popcorn is amazing, simple but absolutely tasty and goes great with a brew, seltzer or a cocktail. There is a shuffleboard set and plenty of televisions. They don't keep their site up to date, so be sure to call for hours. read more

Absolutely amazing!!! The popcorn is absolutely good it's not just your normal popcorn. It's actually seasoned! The wings are absolutely amazing. I had the spicy ranch wings and they were so delicious. You definitely have to come early to actually find a spot. There's not much seating but it's definitely worth it. Having said that, I really enjoyed how the wings here were flavorful and cooked so well that they fall right off the bone. I tried the hot BBQ, pineapple BBQ, and hot garlic ranch. All of them were really good and not too spicy. They also give you a free giant tub of popcorn, which doesn't hurt! Prices are decent ($16 wings for $14.95). I very much enjoy ordering wings from Knockback Nats. When I came to Cincinnati two years ago, this was the place that was recommended to me by many to try out for wings. It certainly didn't disappoint. I've had visiting friends and family come here and they've all enjoyed the smokey charred goodness that is Knockback Nats' wings. For my recent order, I called ahead for 8 wings tossed with extra hot sauce (which is the perfect spice level for me). They said the order would be ready in 25 minutes and I walked in around 15 minutes later and my order was ready. I noticed they had a line out the door as they were maintaining COVID-19 guidelines, but for those who were only picking up orders could go in and complete their transaction. The wings were delicious. You'll notice in my picture that there are only two wings, that is because I couldn't contain myself and started munching away before I remembered to take a picture of the entire order. If I could give this place zero stars I would! Horrible customer service and the chicken use to be so good... it's not so pleasing to the stomach the next day. I have food poisoning and I haven't stopped going to the bathroom since yesterday. I slipped leaving the bathroom twice there needs to be a rug when you leave the bathroom. I also gave the bartender $50 for two double shots Don Julio blanco the total was 40.35 I never got my change back. I also got kicked out because I fell and they assumed I was drunk which I wasn't one shot won't do anything. They are extremely rude and not worth my time nor money. I've been coming here for years sad to see it go down but hey nothing stays the same I guess. I do know the owner and I'm extremely disappointed in the ambiance and the service and how I was treated. I won't be back. I'm also extremely sick I should've known not to eat them because the cook gave us free chicken wings. Never again read more
