Moist and flavorful on the inside. Did not have that overly Fishy taste or smell which usually means the Fish was fresh when it was prepared. A+. The Wings were good, but personally I prefer mine in flavors. Usually Lemon Pepper or Garlic Parmesan. These are cooked and served with sauce in the side. Again, nothing wrong with it ,it's just not my preference. As far as the Sauces go the Tartar Sauce was reported to be homemade and it was very good. He gave me a Sauce for the Wings that was a little sweet and had kick to it. I would eat that on a Shoe. Fried were crispy and crinkle cut. Seasoned nicely with Salt and Pepper I think. The Star of the show hands do n though was the Catfish. On my next visit I'll probably go with the Catfish and Frid Shrimp Combo. Great place to grab a Bite. I'll be back before I leave Town. After a tough start to the week, I had a craving for good food and good company. A lovely friend…read moreand I finally squeezed in a day/time together and just so happened to discover this decent eatery! It was Wednesday, May 7th. I arrived around 6:20pm and though the host sat me, I decided to take a stroll around the "neighborhood" since my date hadn't arrived yet. It was a lovely day, probably around 74º, shady skies with just enough sun. I walked around their back-side patio which was fully equipped with artificial turf, jumbo Jenga, plenty of seating picnic tables and had a huge projector screen for any prime-time game. There were also other eateries (outside bar, ice-cream station, and other restaurants) that accessed the same area. It was very inviting! I continued the walk and wrapped around the block to notice that the row of restaurants/bars were all home-themed. It was very college-like. I landed back in my seat and about 5mins later my friend arrived. We sat at the first two-top high-table near the bar close to the entrance. There were about 2 servers, a host and 2 bartenders to accompany the small crowd. We had a young man as a server and her treated us well. Neither of us had eaten there before so he provided us with a few recommendations but ultimately said, "ya can't go wrong." And he was right! We ordered the Crispy Chicken Sliders, Salt & Pepper Fries, Mango Thai Chili and the BBQ Honey Red Curry, both boneless (her suggestion). We chatted for what only seemed like a few minutes before our food arrived. Not going to lie, the appearance of the food wasn't mind-blowingly irresistible but it's not the looks that matters most. Normally I stay away from boneless wings because you don't know how thick the breading will be and the breading-to-sauce ratio is often never quite balanced but I was incredibly impressed at how juicy and proportionate the wings were! They each were a mouthful and tasted wonderfully. Even though they were both great, I think the Mango Chili may have won over the BBQ Curry. The sliders were about what you'd expect, a solid entrée but the bread was the best feature. The fries were as expected as well, very Buffalo Wild Wing -esque (with ranch). Overall, I spent $40 for two and still left with food in-hand, WELL worth it. We stuck around to watch the ending of Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals (Celtics vs Knicks) but really I was too stuffed to do much else. The backside patio is a vibe. It has covered seating, plenty of space and is very pet & child friendly. Establishments like this prove that you don't have to spend much to eat good and have a good time.

I also ordered the sweet chili wings and think that's my favorite sauce. Went with the boneless wings and they have the perfect amount of crunch. Perfectly sauced and never overcooked. I did takeout this time but have had many of great experiences dining in. Definitely come here if you are a wing fan! Serving great eats and good drinks!

We watched people sing happy birthday w a giant slice of strawberry shortcake. Great portions! We ordered the judges plate and added the burnt ends along w a small side of sweet cream corn. The food! Cornbread was on point! Not grainy, overly sweet, or dry! Soft, not bitter. Champion beans are delicious, smoky, seasoned just right. Mac & cheese!!! OMG! It's just right!! Creamy, full flavor, and not bitter. Sweet cream corn, I mean, you should try it, ask for a small sample so you can decide! Burnt ends!!!! You cannot leave this place w/o trying them. We added it for an additional $4 and it was worth it! The brisket had a nice smoke ring, full of flavor. Soft and not dry at all! Juicy. The chicken fell off the bone. Tender. Well seasoned. The pull pork was perhaps my favorite. On its own it was delicious but adding some of the world champion sauce and the spicy sauce together just took it there!! Hands down, glad we made that turn and drove the extra 10m to this place on our way to California.

Honestly the sliced brisket left a lot to be desired and I do not think that it is the same product as the burnt ends. I am wondering if the burnt ends were from prime brisket and maybe the sliced brisket is from a lesser quality beef. That would make sense because the brisket burnt ends were absolutely divine and had lots of crispy bark that I just love. I was not really impressed by the bologna burnt ends and the mustard sauce. The bologna burnt ends lacked smokiness for me and I just did not enjoy the taste of the mustard (I normally love all mustards). So, let me tell you about the fried okra. I could eat a whole pound of that.....with ranch dressing of course. The finest fried okra!!!!!! We also loved the homemade pickles. I will always order homemade pickles if the option is available. These were great and we sure enjoyed the leftover bites! I would like to leave a little review that I think my little grandson would have left if he could type, use a computer and know all of his words. "I was really fond of the bbq beef but the standouts to me would have to be the mac n cheese and the championship bbq beans. In fact, I loved the bbq beans so much and got so excited that I put my forehead in the beans that my mommy put on my little child's placemat. After that all of the exursions of eating my food, playing with my food, flirting with our waitress and showing off my baby blues; I started yawning. I am not sure if it was the meat fatigue or the carb coma. Mommy and Daddy thought it was time to leave at that point and I agreed to cooperate as my bbq bean juice dyed hair was getting pretty sticky." I would definitely come in again and maybe try some other items. I would definitely get the prime brisket burnt ends again. Oh yes, AND THE OKRA and whatever my grandson wants, of course!

Fingers are all kinds of different sizes, some very long. Others short. All skinny. All oily. None appetizing. The sauce tastes like a very unfresh batch of caines sauce plus a mega load of preservatives. Fries. You're looking at 2 orders. That's not a lot of fries. Some were super oily and soft, some undercooked, none nice and cripsy on the outside with a soft inside. Toast was sad and oily. For fast food. I expect it to be edible, fast, and affordable. I didn't even come close to finishing this because I was working through each bite like a toddler eating boiled unseasoned spinach. So, while technically, it was edible, it was pretty close to not being edible. Fast, they had the order out timely. Affordable for the price of zaxbys, I could have eaten happy hour sushi, good fried chicken 2-3 times, panera, etc. They are so expensive for what you get. Seriously, pick anywhere else, and you've got better odds of enjoying the food. Truly, you couldn't pay me to eat here again. I'll go to one of the 20 other fried chicken places in a 10-mile radius and actually enjoy my meal. Again, terrible quality, inconsistent, pricey, but they did have nice employees and good service.

I ordered two medium drinks, a three-piece chicken strip meal, and an onion ring for my son. I had to repeat the order four to five times. Instead of clarifying, the evening manager came on the intercom and sarcastically asked if I wanted "eight drinks," which was not what I said. I went inside to calmly request the customer service number. The manager refused to provide it and threatened to call the police on me. When I explained that this was not appropriate treatment for a customer, he escalated further and said he would call Child Protective Services as well, all while speaking loudly in front of other employees. I then attempted to place my order at the front counter, and the manager instructed the employee not to take my order. He proceeded to call the police simply because I was trying to order food for my children. This situation was unnecessary, unprofessional, and deeply upsetting. I was not disruptive or threatening I just wanted to place an order. No customer, especially a parent with children, should be treated this way. I hope management addresses this behavior so other customers are not subjected to the same experience.
