I have been an extremely satisfied customer for over 15 years! At times I have to work out of town for extended periods, and this is when I realize that even other knockouts locations just are not up to the level that I have become so accustomed to in the Addison location. In approximately 200 visits Vikki has hit the color with perfection every time. In 15 years that has changed from just a touch of grey to fixing " mostly" grey. All those years and not one bad cut. I also get a few other services, waxing, beard trims ( when I have one ) but always a facial! Gentlemen I would suggest adding the facial to your list of services on your next visit, whether Jennifer, Juliet, or Vikki all are amazing! Definitely the best part of my day. Thank you ladies ! I just moved from California (Bay Area) to Dallas Texas. I needed to have a good hair cut. I looked on Google and I selected a couple of barber shops. What I was looking for is a haircut done with scissors. I selected Knockouts on Belt Line. You can't imagine how surprised I was when I entered the place. Beautiful girls wearing boxer shorts and beautiful tops. I selected my stylist (Abby). She realized it's been a while I didn't have a good haircut. She did a great job and I look really good with my new haircut. What you will like about this place is the decor. It looks like a big boxing ring. You have small LCD screen on all the stations. You can get massages after your haircut and the most important you can enjoy a cold beer while having the haircut. I will recommend also my stylist, Abby. It was ok I guess, I just don't believe that a men's haircut should cost 30$. My stylist was very unhappy from the beginning of my cut, I guess bc I didn't have an appointment and was curious how much a cut was so I asked her. I have the kind of hair that's hard to screw up. I've literally never had a bad haircut. So... with that said I may have broken my streak. Unfortunately my haircut was less than I had hoped. The stylist was very cordial and professional...but by less than expected I mean less hair. It's taken a couple weeks to get my hair to become somewhat manageable. To her credit it was the first time to cut my hair but tragically it was very clearly too short on the top back and my hair just stands straight up in a unruly manner. At some point the owner got wind of my haircut indirectly and sought me out with humble apologies and a complete hope of fixing my hair to my satisfaction. What? Care? Responsibility? Happy to fix it? Is this the 50's. I openly wept. Fine, I'll be back. Everyone makes mistakes but nearly no one owns their part. Kudos to this management and Knockouts! This has been the best experience I've had getting my hair cut, anywhere. Everyone is so friendly from the time you hit the door. Juliet is the stylist I see. She takes her time to make sure everything is square before you get out of the chair. She memorizes your name, what you like, and even what you talked about last time. I walked in here with a picture of David Tennant's Doctor Who on my phone and told the girl that my girlfriend wants me to have this haircut. (How cool am I, right?) The first thing that I noticed about the shop was that it looked like a really nice man-cave, but with barber chairs instead of sofas. There was boxing ring ropes, leather chairs, pictures of hot girls, actual hot girls, and sports memorabilia everywhere. And they offered me a free beer. What's not to like? As for The Doctor's haircut, it looked pretty good. I enjoyed the multiple washings/rinsings. The hair wash was like a massage and very relaxing. They also gave me a warm towel for my face which felt rejuvenating. The haircut was on the pricier side for men's 'do's, but the atmosphere and service were well worth it. read more

This place does a great job getting you in even if they are slammed. I'm very happy with Juliet's skills with the shears. She has a great personality, and I personally recommend her massaging your scalp during the shampoo. I'm sure most people would think that knockouts is just a cliché place to get your haircut with good looking girls in short shorts. But that's definitely not the case. I would go so far to say that these females are highly skilled in their craft, and take great pride in their services. For $30 and the generous tip they are definitely an awesome deal to get faded and looking sharp. read more

I'm tiring of my usual haircut place, so it's time to try something new. I noticed this place on my commute, so I decided to drop in one day. First, let me say that if I return, it will definitely be at a time when I expect the place to be much more busy. This may seem counterintuitive, but this is the first haircuttery/barber shop where I didn't mind waiting on others to finish their haircuts. I actually remember feeling a little disappointed when they were ready for me to begin. The main reasons I enjoyed the "anticipation experience" likely were the large flat-screen tv as well as the customer chairs that were actually comfortable, not to mention the mini-fridge stocked with complimentary bottled water, cokes, and a variety of beers. The haircut portion of the experience left me with mixed feelings. The haircut itself was OK, even though I thought the stylist left it a little short on top. In the middle of the haircut, the stylist stops, gets you out of the chair, takes you to the rinsing area and gives you a rinse. I thought that was a little strange, and when I asked about it, she told me that this was the process for all customers. OK. After the rinse, we returned to the barber's chair to finish the haircut process. After this was finished, we returned to the rinsing sink for a second rinse which included shampoo. This was a very nice experience, as having someone else wash your hair for you strangely feels a lot better than doing it on your own. Can someone explain that to me? Toward the end, the stylist seemed to realize that the top was left a little short, and she said she would document that in her customer notes for me to review for my next visit. That suggested to me that they are professional and take their jobs seriously, so bonus points there. I realized upon checkout that the dual-rinse process is the $25 level of service. There is a menu-sign posted that shows service levels as low as $15, so I assume that if you want to pay that price, you should specify that at the beginning of the haircut. I felt like the assumption of a customer selecting the highest level was a little bit of an upsale scam, but I also didn't feel like complaining too much after the whole experience. Lastly, I will address the angle of the "Knockouts" moniker and all that it implies. Say what you will about the over-sexualization of all businesses directed toward that precious demographic of men age 25-54, but it is what it is, and I suppose it sells. As far as this location goes, while none of the stylists have a chance at comparing to the beauty that is Mrs. B, I didn't notice anyone whom I would consider unattractive. All in all, I will likely return. read more

Customer service is nonexistent. The haircut is as good as anywhere else but nothing special. They will have you sit and wait while the stylists sit around texting or go through the music selection to figure out what they want on the playlist. There is a genuine apathy that is their culture. read more

i called super-cuts, great clips, sports clips and three other haircut places. and all of them either sounded irritated or unwilling to help me even thought they dint close for another hour. i even had some of them tell me they couldn't get me in at all. i called knockouts and they happily told me they don't stop till they close and to come on in. Elizabeth not only cut my hair, but she was not upset, irritated or rude for having to stay late. instead she treated me better than the place i normally go to back at home. I'll start by start saying I used to go to the Knockouts in Coppell before the turnover got so bad it was a different girl every month. The quality of cut went way down as well. Finally I tried Floyd's Barbershop and loved it. Great cut EVERY time. I was in a rush today and couldn't wait 45 minutes at Floyd's, so I dropped by Knockouts in Addison. WORST HAIRCUT I CAN REMEMBER. Kaitlyn should have her licensed taken and be removed from the team ASAP. For starters, I pull up and see some girl lounging/smoking in her car. She sees me start walking to the door and scurrying behind me. Then she takes another 5 minutes to actually see me. As for the haircut, of the services offered, I got two shampoos, condition and a cut. No hot towel. No razor neck shave. Because of this, I expected a much more attentative cut. No chance. Cut above the ears on one side, didn't touch the other. On the front of my hair, one side is way longer. Neck line is awful. Left a big chunk of hair on both sides where the paper guard is. I don't even know what the back looks like. Simply put, I'll never be going back to his location or another franchise either. Waiting 45 minutes at Floyd's was more than worth the terrible cut I received, for the same price!!! Girls like her are the reason this franchise is always hiring. I had never been to a Knockouts before but had been a regular customer of SportClips prior to visiting this location. I figured it would be just another 'Sports Clips' style environment but man was I wrong. The girls that Knockouts are way better looking than any Sport Clips I've been to! Now, don't get me wrong, when it comes to haircuts, the girl doesn't have to be a 'hottie' but it doesn't hurt. Be honest, you don't want some overweight slob with bad hair and body odor cutting your hair. If they can't keep themselves up, how are they going to make you look and feel good. The service here was great. I got the Heavyweight and it was a step up from my normal cutting experience. The conditioning scalp massage was incredible and really made me relax. I'm pretty sure i actually feel asleep at least once. The haircut was great and I really felt and looked good when I left. I even got a few compliments from my buds, which says a lot; guys dont normally pay attention to each others hair. This may not be a social scene like the above girl said... but it's definitely a great place to get a great haircut. read more

I am very sorry for everyone that thinks that this place is awesome. There is no social life here. The girls seem very stingy and weird. They don't really talk at all. I was taking my bf to get his hair cut at this location. It was around the afternoon on Sunday. We walked into the place and it seem like the manager or the owner had a real rude attitude when I asked him if they had there 5$ dollar off promotion still going on. Also, there was a brown haired chic that was running the front that didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. After my man got his hair cut by the brown hair girl; she had cut his hair very short, and there was no way for him to style it. He was very disappointed and so was I. If I were you coming from my experience save your money please. The best knockouts location to go to is off of Lemmon ave. in uptown Dallas. Lauren is such a great hairstylists there. She takes the time to listen and does a fantastic job. Addison knockouts sucks badly big time. read more

What a concept! Cute girls with butt tight shorts cutting hair in a dark ambiance, feels like in a sex shop. Besides sex alluring pitch, this place will definitely knockout your wallet for sure. Same speedy haircut with little use of scissors like Super-cut except two hair wash during the hair-cut. We all have different preferences, I like scissors cut and I've experienced better under $20 scissors all the way, no electric equipment. read more

I recently moved to this part of the Dallas area and was looking for a new hair cut location and someone recommended I try Knockouts. I looked them up on line and was a little skeptical to say the least. They look really gimmicky with the girls and the shorts, but I figured what the hell. When I walked in it was exactly what I expected a man cave vibe with good looking women giving an all male clientele hair cuts. I checked in with the desk, really table, girl and she offered me a drink. This is where my opinion began to change. I said no at first, but then she asked if I was sure and that they had beer. BEER!!! Really!?!?!? At a barber shop??? Score one for me and score one for Knockouts. I of course gratefully accepted and sat down with my froth cold beverage and waited my turn. By this point I'm already sold. My "stylist," Nicole, was great. Fun to talk to, gave a great hair cut, and made the whole experience enjoyable.
