Great campground, has a nice pond area, and running stream in part of the property, not a huge amount of activities but clean and open camping with lots of room between sites. There is a pretty nicely stocked store and a small snack/grill restaurant on property. All in all we had a fun time, it's not far from knobles amusement park and the they offer a free shuttle. read more

We love this campground having been here three times previously. Love the tent sites, T2 and T1. The only negative is the dust from the roads. Really wish they would pave this. May not go back unless they do because everything gets massively coated in dirt. read more

If I could give this campground 0 stars, I would. First of all, they charge $65+ per night for an unusable camp site. The entire thing was flooded and swampy. There was no spot to put a tent down properly. I understand rain happens, and sites get wet and what not, but I've been camping my entire life, and never have I experienced such a low quality campsite. Maybe a mention of this possibility when choosing sites would have been nice. Quiet hours are not enforced, as we were woken up before 6am with rowdy, rude neighbors. The lack of camping etiquette among the campers was atrocious. They saw nothing wrong with this. There is a shuttle to Knoebles, but it's not continuous. There are random times throughout the day it goes and picks you up, but it's not an "every hour" or anything like that. So it's pointless. On our second day there we decided to head to knoebles for about 4-5 hours. When we came back, our screen house was destroyed. I'm talking someone went into it and destroyed our things and clearly wrecked it. We called the office and had them come by and they tried to tell us "it was huge gusts of wind that did it, we don't know what to tell you." This was false because the way things were inside... it's not wind. Our things were also too heavy to "blow around." I'm talking FULL, heavy totes of things, heavy suitcases, etc. Also, things on our outside picnic table were still there upright, things that should have been blown away with "big gusts of wind" were in place. This was CLEAR it was not due to wind. The women from the office were rude, they were condescending, and plain ridiculous. No "I'm so sorry that happened" but a "well you're out of luck." I've worked in hospitality and customer service type work for years, and this was some of the most terrible service I have ever come across. Long story short, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Waste of time, waste of money, low quality, and you're better off staying far away. read more

Will not be staying here again. I paid my reservation for 1 night. I was not able to go because of the weather. I understand that I would loose the $67, but they go and manually input my credit card for $226 more. I call and they tell me they have no idea what it is and their "IT" department will look into it. Long story short, I would not trust them with your credit card number. I have my deposit over a month ago and they still have my card number written down somewhere. My family and I love spending time at Knobels and Lake Glory, however we will not be returning to the campground. Due to an error on the part of the management at the campground, they made a mistake in our reservation and, instead of fixing it, they simple said there is nothing they can do. The manager, Monica, did not seem to care that we were repeat visitors to the campground and, while acknowledging it was an error on their part and not mine, she still wouldn't help us. I guess because they are associated with Knobels they don't care about losing customers. She was more than happy to cancel my reservation, but really didn't care about the fact that I wouldn't be coming back, nor did she care that I would letting others know about her lack of customer care so people are forewarned. It is really a shame because the campground is beautiful and we have made many nice memories there, but clearly they do not value their customers. read more

We are gearing up for another year at Lake Glory and Knoebels. We have tented in a variety of spots, and the last two years we have shared a cabin with another family. What we like best about Lake Glory is that it is literally in the middle of nowhere. If you simply must have a Walmart, or can not live without wifi, this is not for you. If you are interested in actually hanging out with your friends/family and speaking with them around your campfire (how much wood can you carry in one bucket?), then Lake Glory is for you. The kids ride their bikes, go down to the stream, check out the game room and playground on their own, and with us. We fish at the lake, but the stream requires PA license. Bathrooms are fine, as is the shower situation. You will need to drive or take the bus to Knoebels (free parking though, so... convenience of driving myself always wins). I have mixed feelings about the day when my kids are old enough to hop on the bus and go on their own... It isn't the biggest, fanciest campground, but it is exactly what it is meant to be - quiet, family, fun. read more

It's with mixed emotions that I write this. The park was nice and clean but there were areas of improvement for sure. If you plan on staying here there is a few things you should know. Preplanning is a must! That means fill the gas tank and have your directions printed out. There is virtually no cell or internet service up here. We have Tmobile and were unconnected for the entire weekend. Our friends with At & T had very sporadic service. Also note that if traveling with a camper use the directions provided by the campground as there are height/weight restrictions. Also allow extra time to get your camper up and around the mountains. Our trip was 2 hours via Mapquest but took a total of four due to the slow pace our vehicle pulled the camper up the steep hills - and there's a lot of them! Also make sure you have everything you need. The camp store is open till 11pm but very limited on food supplies. There is no gas station, food store, or restaurant nearby. This area is very remote and rural. Knoebels is more like 20 minutes away although they tell you it's closer to 7. It's a bit of a drive. The park says there is catch/release fishing BUT you will need a PA fishing permit - something most campgrounds don't require when the fishing is on their premises. There is also a very limited number of sites with full hook ups. Be prepared to use the pump station at the end of your stay and wait in line. Aside from a playground area there is no planned activities whatsoever - they encourage you to hop in the car and go to Knoebals. This was a bit of a disappointment. They do provide a shuttle to/from the park but there is limited times and it's in an old school bus so if traveling with a stroller or other gear it would be difficult and you'd be better off driving. The shower areas have a lot to be desired. It's literally a little room tiled from wall, floor, to ceiling with one hook and one small bench. The shower operates for about a minute before you need to press it to run again. Expect to push it about 75 times to take a normal shower. There's no temperature control - what comes out is what you get. Fortunately it was very warm (not hot). BUT the worst part is the steam. There is no exhaust whatsoever so your towel and clean clothes are wet when you are done. Drying off is difficult. There is no place to put shampoo/condition/soap and the drain was slow so the entire floor of the room was covered in an inch of water. On the plus side the staff was nice and they weren't strict with visitors, car passes etc. BUT if you are staying here to go to Knoebels this is not the closest campground. There's one in the park and another not far from the park entrance. If we are ever in this area again we will explore those options. read more

I stayed at this campground for a couple nights on a summer vacation I took this year. The lots were sized well and the staff working the campground were very friendly. The camp store isn't priced too high like some campgrounds are, but as usual the fire wood was a little higher than it should have been. Ultimately, while we could have saved money buying wood from a roadside stand, I didn't mind shelling out the money. The scenery is great here; the park is very well maintained, and if you're looking to go to Knoebel's Amusement park, there are several shuttles to and from the park daily. If you don't want to be too disconnected, Verizon's cell service is good here. Alcohol is permitted in the park, which is a nice change from the campgrounds I've frequented over the years. read more

After camping at Knoebels last year we decided to give Lake Glory a try. We were afraid we would miss the convenience of walking to Knoebels but the peacefulness of Lake Glory is VERY worth it. The sites at Lake Glory are much bigger and more spread out. At Knoebels the quiet hours (11pm) were not enforced and the crowd was rowdy. At Lake Glory it was quiet by 9 pm. The shuttle was great. We lugged two kids, a wagon, and a bag with no trouble. It was reliable and the driver was very friendly . A few times we drove to Knoebels ourselves because our schedule did not coincide with the shuttle. The drive is an easy 10 minutes and if you go in the back way you miss all of the backed up traffic when the park is opening. The staff was friendly. The bathhouse was very clean. The facilities are the same as Knoebels campground. The only negatives if our experience were cold showers (which were pretty miserable) and the playground was not very good. It was in good shape but only has two swings, a slide and low monkey bars. We will definitely be back!! read more

We stayed at lake glory campground on October 8th -10th 2016. We had site 90 and loved it. The site backed up to woods and was spacious. It was grassy, level and easy to back into. There is a great fishing lake in the campground. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only complaint we had was there is not many planned activities. We spent most of our time at the amusement park that is close by. We already booked for next year and can't wait to return. read more

RV camped for 4 nights here. Beautiful large sites. Very quiet. Staff was very friendly. Apparently you need a fishing permit to fish in the lake which I thought was odd for a campground. Campground included a small playground, game room, and a decent camp store. No activities are planned on this campground. There is NO WiFi and NO cable. The closest Walmart is about 20 minutes away. There is not much of anything in the area outside of Knoebels. If this place had a pool it would be much better. We paid about 35 dollars for a family of 4 to go to the Crystal Pool at Knoebels. Wouldn't do this everyday just to swim. A few days here was enough for us as you can only go to Knoebels so many times. ‍ read more

We were tent camping next to the lake which is really a pond. A swamp almost. I don't know how they got the ripples on the water on the brochure photo but it doesn't look like that. The people in the store are really nice and they have a decent selection of things to purchase but don't count on it for your food. Go to the Weis (I hear they have discount Knoebels tickets there) in Bloomsburg not too far away. Lots of goose poop on our site too. People need to stop feeding them. Not woodsy by the lake. Bare bones but functional campground. I wouldn't go again. It's sort of yucky. read more

We will NEVER go there again!! Camp manager doesn't give a crap about the campers. We were just there for the weekend with our travel trailer and our family. Overnight on Friday, our first night there, someone came to our site, moved things around to look in our coolers. Our Otterbox cooler was leaning up next to our camper and we had our lounge chairs lying up against it. When we woke in the morning the cooler was gone. Another family a few sites over from ours had their cooler stolen as well. When my husband went to the camp office he was told to call the police because they couldn't do anything about it. When the officer arrived he seemed bothered by having to ask another family if they had it. One cooler was found but ours is gone. My husband went back to the camp office to speak with the manager. He was told if he didn't want it stolen we shouldn't have left it out!! I have been camping for over 20 years and I have NEVER had ANYTHING stolen before!!!! This campground has 1 security golf cart who came through our area about once every few hours. They just didn't seem to care. It's sad, people can really suck. read more

we stayed here four nights end of july (had two site reserved well in advance) they messed up original reservation and had us on a 30 AMP site, didn't find a new site until week before we were due to arrive. The shuttle buses that we were told ran thru out the day are really only 4 times a day and if you miss one, it's several hours till next one runs. We were told they were "sister" campground to Knoebels and it's possible to walk, that is wrong-Knoebels is about 5 miles away and most "normal" people especially with children cannot walk that. there is a campground that is much closer, same price $45 per nite and full hookup (called JD campgrounds) Wish we had know that prior. they also have more amenities, such as internet, nicer looking bathhouses, more for children to do. Lake Glory only had a game room for the children (and it rained (monsoon rains) two out of the four days, so it would've been nice to have activity room where they had things going on for the children-not just somewhere that takes their money. plus they had no pool? not many kid oriented places don't have a pool and if they don't why is the cost per night so high? other than that, things went great :O) oh, we ended up taking two cars to Knoebels rather than trying to fit into their bus schedule. you're allowed coolers, chairs, etc at the park. they have pavillions with tables that you can leave your things there safely (well we didn't have any problems with theft) Also, park allows animals but bus doesn't, so we took our lab read more

Just got home from a four night stay. It's was just ok. Website said free pool passes with reservations, we never got those. Cabin was good. No ac or mini fridge. What's the point of renting a cabin for that price and still having to pack all the stuff you gotta take camping. No place to cool off. Not allowed to swim in the lake no pool available. For the price your better off staying at knoebels. This place was just as noisey. Fire rings are in front of cabin so you get to sit right by the road if you want a fire. read more

The Good: A good looking campground with a very impressive camp store. The sites were very level and camp security kept people from driving too fast through the campground (something Knoebels campground has serious issues with). The rates were reasonable considering it was mid-August and we were reserving a week before we left. The Bad: The staff does not enforce their own rules regarding quiet time. There was a large group of people around site 40-46 that had a party going all weekend, complete with flood lights. This was clearly visible from the camp store. We could not get to sleep until well after 1am both nights we were there. The noise was unreal. I could not get ahold of anyone to take care of this on the phone. I complained the first night and nothing was done about it, and the morning we checkout out I spoke to a very nasty woman who told me I should have flagged down a security person. Better yet, how about the security person open their ears....these people were relentless. Trash was strewn everywhere on our site. Capri suns, string cheese wrappers, candy bar wrappers. Bathrooms were meh...very much like the Knoebels campground except a little cleaner and the water didn't stink. Again, Lake Glory is a tremendous step-up from the horrible Knoebels campground, but this comparison really isn't favorable to either campground. read more

This is not the first time we've stayed here - its improved since the last time! The site they gave us was larger then most with some shade & sun. It was great b/c it was we were right next to the bathrooms/showers. I really like that quiet hours starting at 11 are enforced, especially having a toddler with us! There are two negatives though: 1 - the womans bathroom door slams every time its closed (which again, with a toddler, is no fun when he's sleeping). 2 - the firewood they sold was wet, which made our first night extremely cold. We had to buy wood from a private house up the road. All in all, I def plan on continuing our family tradition. read more
