I am giving 4 stars because Jasmine set the bar very high and I feel like other waxers I have seen at the North Charleston location haven't quite lived up to her standard. They are going through some management and company changes right now, so scheduling can be a bit wonky (I got three separate calls to confirm my most recent appointment, in addition to a text, but when I arrived I was placed with a different specialist than I had booked with), but everyone there is very friendly and apparently they are going to be offering more med spa services at this location very soon. All in, I just purchased a Pink Pass (10 Brazillian Sugaring at $54/ea), so I will be going back to see Jasmine for a while!

Especially for someone like me who has a very busy work schedule. Now I'm not sure if my third experience was based on the time of day (evenings), but I know part of the issue is covid related. But I want to start it with the positives of this visit. I saw Bray, who is SUPER sweet and very attentive to my needs. She made sure my brows looked AMAZING, and kept my natural shape just cleaned up my bushy mess. She also talks to you during the process so you're never really in easy during the experience. Which of course we talked about threading and Brazilian waxing. She told me it's not so bad depending on who does it, and boy was she was right. The last time i was threaded (which was my first) it was super uncomfortable, but she actually made it relaxing. Now for the downfalls. I'm not sure if part of it was because the person I was scheduled with went home early or she "had a cancellation" (since they called at 5pm asking me if I could come in early). But anyways my apt was at 6:40pm and I arrived 5mins early. And then after checking in, I had to wait outside in the rain, in the dark. I understand they don't want guests waiting in the lobby or sitting in the chairs (due to covid). But I felt like if I stood inside in the corner (furthest from the reception desk which was over 6ft away) it would have been okay to make this exception. But also I waited outside from 6:35 to 6:53pm when my apt was 6:40. Now I'm sure this wasn't Brays fault, but I made an apt for a reason. So it was frustrating to wait nearly 20mins outside in the rain. If I knew it was running longer, I could have waited in my car or came slightly later. But really that was my only complaint. Other than that I am satisfied with the quality of work I received.

I found them through a Google and Yelp search with glowing reviews and competitive prices while searching for self-care places on my wedding preparation journey. Scheduling an appointment online through their website is easy and they have two locations for your convenience. When I walked in, the front staff greeted and checked me in promptly, the front area is inviting, space is clean and tastefully decorated. I came in feeling so nervous, almost on the verge of tears from how anxious I was due to how sensitive my skin is. Grace melted those worries away as I built trust from her expertise and care. Grace is professional, polite, and personable. Her gentle technique and mindfulness for sensitivity made the wax bearable. I appreciated her conversation topics and bubbly persona, it made me feel at ease. Her aftercare suggestions and knowledge make me confident in knowing I found an esthetician and salon that will strive to have the best experience for all clients in a judgement-free space. Aside - I also liked the sturdy waxing table they had..some places it's like a wobbly surfboard chair setup but theirs has a secure footing and thick padding. I liked that they played music.
