Then they have a machine coming out of the wall that helps disperse salt humidity. Similar to a humidifier with salt water in it. I could taste the salt on my lips and throat. When I breathe through my nose, it did seem to activate something that helped clear my sinuses more. My nose feels very clear since I've left, and I tend to have a lot of allergy issues. Each person you're directed to has a different and conflicting answer and their etiquette/ manners / professionalism are TOTALLY lacking to the point it was actually comical. 2nd let's touch on the schedule paper, online or otherwise ... they are woefully incorrect , in an average week if we attend 3 times the open gym schedule will be wrong 2 of those times. We've brought it to their attention to which we were told oh well ! The schedule has been the same for 5yrs (which is isn't/ changes quarterly) and that regardless they're closing ... it was basically me and my family telling them of the error to be spoken too like we were idiots by no less than 4 people including a rude old man who was lucky I was there with my family and not alone. Instead of apologizing and offering us an alternative paper schedule we were just told no less than 15 times (no exaggeration) that it's doesn't matter what it says online we're closing ... then were directed to paper schedule available to all member that are in the lobby - which were identical to online and wrong. A total joke for a place that's nearly $80 a month after tax for a family of 4.

The staff was also so nice and friendly. They even gave out chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate the holiday; how cute! We want to try the sauna next! The only thing is, we were not sure what to wear... we wore comfy cloths, which I would recommend! Salt will get on your clothes if they're dark and sit on the floor, so if you don't want any marks, just stick to the chairs! I personally loved sitting right on the salt though!

We are in the Medina area for a family funeral. First of all I called them and told them of our estimated arrival time. Well, I was off by 2 hours because of traffic and hazardous road conditions. I had already paid in advance so we just needed to grab a key. Well they canceled our reservation and then booked us on the third floor. No carriage cart to help load our suitcases in. As soon as I walked in I began checking for bedbugs and the place was utterly disgusting!! I went down to the desk and asked for cleaning supplies. He gave me some face clothes and a hand towels no cleaning solution!! I wiped snot and hair out of sink and tub and scoured the toilet. My husband yells honey come and look at this! Puke or something gross was all over the floor! Dust and hairballs everywhere! Bugs dead and some still crawling!!! Just look at my pictures!! And when we left you couldn't help but notice the drug deals going on in the parking lot. DON'T STAY HERE !!!

For $50+tax, you get a basic, decent room, fairly modern. * Shower water has great pressure & is plenty hot. Small soaps, thin but plenty of towels, a few plastic cups. * Front desk staff is pleasant & professional. She let me know that if I wanted to eat next door at Buffalo Wild Wings, I could show the key for a 15% discount. Same in the morning at a local breakfast chain. * M6's are not known for super comfy mattresses... they're bare bones basic, which is fine. My mattress was firm & comfy enough. 2 pillows were firm & enough. Cons: * Even during Covid, I don't think the room was thoroughly cleaned, meaning all surfaces, light switches, doorknobs, etc. Bring your own wipes with you. * My room smelled like stale smoke (not even a hint of any kind of cleaner) & the ketchup (or blood) stains on the dusty curtains led me to believe bare minimum is done to clean between stays, which is too bad. I turned on the heating unit & left it on continually to try to counteract some of the smell... it was 50% successful... still, for $50 & just an overnight stay, I didn't expect more. * All doors lock oddly... when you leave the room & close your door, you must wait 10-seconds for the green light to go out & the lock to engage, otherwise it doesn't lock. The regulars seem to think you need to slam the door (which might account for some of the noise... see below) & put the key into the lock again to get it to lock... several told me this. They're wrong... just close the door (quietly!) & wait a moment. * The guests are all very strange... many hang out in the lobby (5 at a time) & I believe live here. They are in & out of their rooms all night long, slamming doors, going to the lobby to stand & watch the TV (odd as they have TV in-room), visiting each other, going from room to room, talking loudly in the hallways. It might be that this is one of the M6's that's taken in homeless, halfway house & displaced tenants during the lockdown (many motels had to as per state laws) & there are large dogs running the halls off leash, as well. The 1st floor was like a party... & whomever was above me, either with kids or dogs or both jumping or wrestling on the floor, banging over & over... well, again, without Melatonin, I wouldn't have slept a wink. They did eventually quiet down late night, but heavy adult footsteps all night & very early morning were evident... it was annoying. Good to know: * There's an in-wall heater-a/c unit. It's noisy. I like it cuz it tuned out the noisy neighbors, so I could better sleep, but it does turn on-off at times & might drive some nuts. * Note: No fridge, m/w or coffee pot... during Covid, there are no amenities available at all, including lobby coffee. * This is 1 of the older M6's where entry is through front, back or side doors... you can't drive up to your room door & park in front of it. 2* out of 5. If cash conscious, for overnight, if you're not picky & a heavy sleeper, you'll be fine. I'd suggest taking Melatonin, otherwise, you may wish you went elsewhere. However, I wouldn't stay again. There's a Fairfield Inn across the street for $50+ more per night.

So pickleball was a smash hit. Then I went into the club to get a beer, a tour, and a membership. I was pleasantly surprised by all the amenities that they offer. They have weights, a walking/jogging tracking, a steam room, a bar, a lounge, TVs, ping pong, shuffleboard, pilates classes, cardio fitness equpment, indoor & outdoor tennis courts, outdoor pickleball courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, indoor golf, soccer/lacrosse field, and updated locker rooms. There's a lot going on here compared to other health clubs in the area. I spoke with the general manager, Val, and she was super friendly and down to earth. We had a draft beer from the bar, while we chatted and watched tennis on TV. I really liked the vibe that this place has and I am hoping to start using the weight machines and pickleball often.

The locker room facilities are adequate, but you will definitely be taken back to the late 80s early 90s with the decor. There are several toiletries available for use in case you forgot anything, and a separate area with large mirrors for getting ready after your work out. The facility offers a full-size basketball court, walking track, and with several weight/fitness equipment options. I have never been a member of this club, but have visited as a guest many times. It is tucked away in an industrial parkway area of Fairlawn, so you need to be alert when searching for the building.

I was the only person in the salon today (assuming because everyone is back to work after the holiday weekend). She did a great and thorough job and spent more time to take off my gel polish which was really nice (can be a huge pain!). My toes look good I just wish she would have spent more time using the buffer and callous remover on my heels and balls of my feet. She literally did two seconds on each foot which was kind of surprising considering paying $70 for a pedicure with regular polish. I'd come back and just ask to really get the bottom of my feet more.
