Had a wonderful stay at the Pepper Tree! Very cute and quaint place. Melanie at the front desk was amazing! Everyone I talked to was wonderful but Melanie especially went above and beyond. She helped me with early check which allowed me to get to Disneyland on time. She also helped me with getting packages delivered; I'm disabled so I needed a little extra help with carrying them. The location and price were absolutely perfect. Nice to not deal with all the traffic and chaos that can come with staying on Disney property. About a 10 minute Uber to the parks. My only complaints are that the room smelled a bit musty, the bed wasn't the comfiest and my AC wasn't working at first. Luckily the staff came and fixed it! The walls were also pretty thin but luckily the other guests near me were fairly quiet. Loooooved the kitchenette. So convenient! Very roomy fridge. The patio was nice and cute too.

OSHA has no such law as the owner stated. I have worked in hotels and property management. Proves they are dishonest.

In attempt to paint me as a dishonest and destructive guest, the hotel manager stated that I did not disclose my pets. I added my pets to online check in. When we checked in, the front desk failed to charge the pet fee. They realized their mistake after we requested a new bedspread because our small dog threw up on it. We were told we had to clean the bedspread or pay $50. They also apologized about missing the charge for pets, said it was their fault and offered a discount. We notified the desk one was ESA. We cleaned the bedspread on our vacation which required us to go to a laundromat and purchase detergent. We had zero issues with our dogs all weekend until Monday when the blonde lady was there (I'm assuming Geneva) . At which time they repeatedly knocked on the door despite having a do not disturb sign. This place loves fees and even though we checked out 4 days early to stay elsewhere, they have not refunded the room. I had a great stay at a Sonesta suite afterwards. Go there instead. They even give your dogs a gift. Bad vibes all around at hotel pepper tree . Crazy fees, pathetic breakfast, incompetent staff. You have to pay extra to park in a secure location. The regular parking fee only covers an open parking space facing Lincoln where tweekers hang out in a shared parking lot with a restaurant.

Loved our stay! And VERY beautiful! Nice and QUIET and a lot of space for parking in the back area! (We parked in the front though). Subway and a great teriyaki place across the street and circle k down the street (4/5 minutes). My son had also left his Lego stuffy behind and they were very kind enough to look for it and hold on it to it till we got back after we had already checked out. We will definitely be staying again! (10 minutes from knotts berry farm & 1 hour to Santa Monica pier)

From the moment you pull into the driveway, you know you're somewhere special. I chose valet parking, which is about $60 a night. They also offer self-parking at a lower rate if you'd rather save a little money. As soon as you walk through the doors, you're greeted with the most amazing signature scent. It honestly reminds me of walking into an upscale Las Vegas resort. The lobby is elegant, there's a beautiful bar, a well-equipped fitness center, and a gorgeous pool area. We spent some time at the heated pool and jacuzzi, and it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The jacuzzi even has water features flowing into it, making it feel like a true luxury resort. The rooms are just as impressive. They're modern, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The carpet was so soft, the bathroom was beautiful, and the entire room felt clean, relaxing, and upscale. Now, here's the decision I had to make. I could have booked a theme park view room where you can see Disney California Adventure and the fireworks from your balcony. But instead, I chose a resort-view room because I really wanted to experience the hotel's rooftop restaurant, Rise. And I'm so glad I did. When we checked in, they were able to get us a reservation for 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is reservation-only, so I definitely recommend planning ahead if you can. We arrived just before sunset, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop has glass panels all around, so you have an unobstructed view of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure while you're enjoying dinner. Then, at 9:30, the fireworks started. Watching the sunset fade into the Disney fireworks while enjoying dinner on the rooftop was honestly one of the most magical experiences of the trip. It was worth every penny. So if you're celebrating something special, planning a romantic getaway, or just want to treat yourself to a luxury Disneyland experience, The Westin Anaheim is an incredible choice. It's definitely a splurge--but if you're looking to feel a little bougie, relax in luxury, and create an unforgettable Disney memory, you won't regret staying here.

This last bit was very important to me as I know that some of the hotels right near the parks can get a little gross. This was not the case here. It's clear that someone's taken a lot of care to really rehab this place and make it something special. The decor is so charming and it really feels like a little oasis on Harbor Ave. It is expensive don't get me wrong but you pay for convenience here. From the hotel to the security entrance, it's about a 10 minute walk. That on top of the free breakfast and aforementioned free parking make this place a no-brainer. I should also mention that there is a shuttle to the park, if you prefer that, it runs around every hour. Unfortunately, we came to Anaheim during one of the worst heat waves we've ever experienced, but the Candy Cane Inn came through with the stellar AC. This was a great retreat during hot days to cool off and catch up on sleep before heading back to the park after sunset. My only beef is they need to add a path between here and Avengers Campus since we're right next door! It would be so convenient.

When walking the hall and just glancing into a room being cleaned, they do not put the beddings on the floor like 99% of other hotels. The gym has enough in there and is a great place to refill water. Service could be a bit better. There are lots of people so I can understand the demand. Anything close to Disneyland draws so many people from all over. Service was often laggy and mediocre. $40 overnight parking (this was similar at other Hyatt). The hotel is relatively modern and has been maintained extremely well. Rooms have consistently been very clean, and there are a surprising number of configurations designed for larger families. Depending on the room, you'll find bunk beds, separate sleeping areas, and layouts that give mom and dad at least some separation from the kids at the end of the day. That's harder to find around Disneyland than it should be, particularly within the Hilton portfolio. The lobby is large, bright, and airy, with plenty of seating, a good snack/market area, and Disney+ seemingly always playing for the kids. The complimentary breakfast is the typical Homewood Suites buffet, but the breakfast area itself is enormous. It gets very busy in the morning--as you'd expect at a Disneyland hotel--but we've generally been able to find somewhere to sit even during the rush. The pool is OK. Nothing particularly special, but perfectly adequate for letting the kids burn off whatever energy Disneyland somehow failed to extract from them. Service has consistently been friendly and helpful. The property is also surprisingly easy to get in and out of for a hotel this busy. Two elevators keep things moving reasonably well, and multiple exits provide quick access to different parts of the parking lot. Parking is gated and does carry an additional fee, which is worth factoring into the room rate. Disneyland is walkable from the hotel, although I'd put an asterisk next to "walkable." With school-age kids it's very manageable; with toddlers or younger children, the distance becomes considerably less appealing--particularly at the end of a long park day. The location also works well for travelers who aren't visiting Disneyland, as the Anaheim Convention Center is very close. For families, especially loyal Hilton members, this is an outstanding option. There are hotels closer to the parks and certainly hotels with better pools or more upscale amenities, but very few combine the room configurations, cleanliness, breakfast setup, location, and family-friendly common areas as well as this one. While we are moving out of the stage of life where this may be the case, for our previous trips with kids ranging from 2-8, it's served our family, extremely well. -AC

But I didn't argue and paid the four room bills, although only 2 were used and not even a future voucher for two rooms was offered instead of a refund on the two unused rooms. Not very good customer service, and not a hotel I will ever use again after that experience.
