We were able to check-in early, thankfully. The receptionist Parth was very helpful and kind. Our hotel room was very clean. No carpet in this room which is a plus! The bedsheets had no stains. The bathroom towels were clean. The shower was clean. Everything was clean. It looks like the housekeeper thoroughly deep cleans the rooms. We stayed here for 1 night and it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfy and pillows were soft. We will definitely stay here again next time. The customer service from Parth was great. He was very welcoming when we checked-in and when we checked-out. Parth is the type of receptionist that every customer should experience. 10 out of 10. He gets you into the hotel and out of the hotel quickly! Staying here was worth every penny. (I forgot to take a picture of the AC unit, windows, desk, dresser, fridge, microwave and TV)

Super friendly service. Room were clean and free parking. I highly recommend this hotel for location and making you feel welcome. Bed were comfortable and no street noise, very quiet.

Anaheim hotels were gouging (forget the Hilton where we last stayed, now a Westin, too expensive) trying to make hay while the sun shines after two long, lean years of the pandemic. Across my radar came Alpine Inn. Both close to the DisneyLand gate and the price was right, $660 (including all taxes) for four nights, a great deal. Rooms are basic, newly remodeled and clean with a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Pros: Clean and comfortable Mattresses were fine, no complaints, we slept well Excellent, pounding water pressure to relieve sore backs Free parking Small pool in the parking lot (didn't use) Walking distance to DisneyLand (15 minutes from the gate) Across the street from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Close to good restaurants (both walking or a cheap Uber ride away) Cons: Older building, could hear people come & go (not a major issue, guess it depends on the guests) Annoying DirectTV with testy remote Weak/insecure wifi connection Alpine Inn is a budget motor lodge. Not posh but clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff was welcoming. Save your money for souvenirs and stay here. Recommend.

Stayed here over the weekend for a comic book convention and had a wonderful time! The location here is perfect and that's what made me choose to book here- it's a 10 minute walk to downtown disney, and the convention center is directly across the street. Check in was very easy and the staff working were super nice. The motel lobby had some cute Disney posters, and they had coffee and tea available in the morning. As for the rooms, they're nice! They have laminate flooring instead of nasty carpet and our room was nice and clean. We saw housekeeping staff come through multiple times a day and check on the rooms often with fresh linens. Their laundry area is directly across from their lobby and I saw them running multiple loads. The beds were on the firmer side and very comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. No complaints other than the soap dispenser was a little stubborn at first. I wish they had curtains in addition to the shutters on the window, but the room got plenty of light during the day which was pleasant. I felt safe at night which is one of the most important things about travel. I was very happy with my stay here and I'm definitely planning on staying here again in the future.

On my most recent stay, I was placed in a handicap accessible room that I did not request when booking. Not a huge issue, but definitely not what I expected. During the stay before that, on my last day, I stopped at the pool bar to relax and have a few drinks. The entire time, the bartenders and wait staff were either on their phones or arguing with each other. It made for a pretty uncomfortable atmosphere and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. On the stay prior to that, I had a very negative interaction with a manager, which I reported in a letter. The response from the hotel was lukewarm and didn't leave a good impression. I felt I was treated poorly, especially for a property at this level, and the small number of points offered felt more dismissive than helpful. On top of that, tours were repeatedly brought through the gym while my guests and I were trying to work out. I understand the space may be open, but having multiple groups walk through filming on their phones, combined with the manager's reaction and comments, was frustrating and honestly left a lasting negative impression. I will say the front desk staff are excellent and the housekeeping team is outstanding. Unfortunately, the issues with other areas overshadow the great work they do. The hotel itself feels a bit dated and could use some updates, but honestly, a room is a room--it serves its purpose. My main issue was the lack of communication and professionalism from the staff throughout my stay. For context, I am an IHG Platinum member. One of the benefits of Platinum status is eligibility for early check-in and room upgrades, both of which are subject to availability. I travel frequently and completely understand that these perks are never guaranteed. However, based on my experience and recommendations from hotel staff at other properties, I typically call the night before arrival to request that a note be added to my reservation regarding an early check-in request. The night before my arrival, I called the hotel and spoke with a front desk employee named Daisy. I politely asked if she could add a note to my reservation requesting early check-in. Her only response was, "Early check-in is subject to availability," which I already understood. What confused me was that she never asked for my name, confirmation number, or any information that would allow her to locate my reservation. When I pointed this out and asked how she could add a note without identifying my booking, she still refused to pull up my reservation. The call ended with no note added and a very poor impression of the hotel's customer service. The next morning, after landing around 7:00 AM, I called again hoping to speak with someone else. I was hoping to refresh before the rest of my day. This time I spoke with Elizabeth, who was much more helpful and was able to locate my reservation and add the note. I mentioned my experience from the previous evening, and her immediate response was, "Who said that?" I chose not to name anyone and simply explained what had happened. She told me she would do her best and said I should be able to get into a room around noon. Since I was already nearby, I slowly made my way to the hotel and arrived around 11:30 AM. Elizabeth was not there at the time, so I spoke with a male front desk employee and explained that I had been told a room would likely be available around noon. His immediate response was again, "Who said that?" It felt as though every staff member was more concerned with identifying who had provided information rather than helping the guest in front of them. The lack of communication between employees was becoming increasingly obvious. I then asked if I could at least begin the check-in process and park my car in the garage rather than continue occupying one of the check-in parking spaces. Only then did he ask for my reservation information. In my experience, most hotels are able to begin the check-in process even if the room is not quite ready. After parking and waiting a short while, Elizabeth returned around noon and was able to get me checked in. During check-in, I also requested a late checkout and was told that a 1:00 PM checkout had been approved. The communication issues continued the following day. My partner asked me to confirm our checkout time, so I stopped by the front desk. A male and female employee looked up my reservation and appeared confused, telling me there was no late checkout noted on the account. Once again, I had to explain that it had already been approved. And once again, I was asked who had approved it. Both employees then agreed to honor the 1:00 PM checkout. Even on the day of departure, the confusion persisted. While I was in the shower getting ready to leave, the room phone repeatedly rang. When I finally answered, a front desk employee asked whether I had a late checkout. I replied that I did. My entire stay felt like there was little to no communication between staff members. Every request seemed to require re-explaining the situation, and every interaction was met with questions about which employee had said what rather than a review of the reservation notes. As a loyal IHG member, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've had. Unfortunately, because of the poor communication and inconsistent customer service, I don't know if I would choose to stay at this property again.

Parking in the area usually runs $25-$45 a night, and we got free parking. We also had breakfast both days, which I'd easily value around $40 for a family of four. That's already close to $100 in savings, so you're really looking at about $180 for the room itself. You also get a trolley/shuttle to Disneyland, which adds even more convenience. We arrived early in the morning before check-in and were still able to grab breakfast. Even though the room wasn't ready yet, the staff let us check in smoothly, and we got the room later in the afternoon without any issues. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not luxury, but well-maintained and exactly what you need after a long Disney day. Location is a big plus -- close enough to walk to Disneyland, which is huge when you have kids and don't want to deal with parking or long shuttles. Breakfast is one of the better continental options. Not a fancy buffet, but solid and convenient before heading out. Service was friendly and efficient. Staff handled early arrival well and made everything easy. Only downside -- I didn't notice an elevator, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. You can also hear the trolley at times, especially at night, but it wasn't a big issue for me. I saw this mentioned in earlier reviews and it matched my experience. Overall, once you factor in free parking, breakfast, and the shuttle, it's actually a great value for Disneyland. Clean, easy, and family-friendly. I would come back.

And, honestly, for a place so close to a theme park, I was kind of expecting to be ripped off. Shockingly, I wasn't! The check-in was super easy and the guy at the front was really nice. Unfortunately, I've been getting used to abrasive front-desk people, so it was great to have someone pleasant. The room was a little tricky to find, but once we got in, we were very impressed with how wonderfully clean everything was. Having stayed at so many hotels for family trips, work trips, and just to get away, I will say that the cleanliness of this hotel is above average. Even the elevator smelled nice. We got the one-bedroom with 2 queens room. These beds were very comfortable, almost like home. The sheets were hotel sheets, so fine I guess. I got a pretty decent night of sleep. The living room pull-out sofa was actually kind of comfortable too. In the morning, we went to the huge breakfast area that actually featured some really great stuff. Having a food allergy, I'm used to being disappointed at free breakfasts. Sunday, I was spoiled for choice. Monday morning before we checked out, a little less so. Finally, the highlights and let-downs: the biggest highlight for us was our room location. On the 4th floor, facing Disneyland, we got a free fireworks show from bed both nights. It made the whole experience much nicer for me. However, the let-down was that the builders cut corners and the walls are very thin. On Sunday morning, I could hear every single door opening and closing, every heavy-footed person walking, every time the elevator came. It happened overnight as well, but I always bring ear plugs to hotels. Overall, it was great - just wish the walls had more insulation.

My partner and I did the walk there as we went late at night . It's about 28 minutes but we walk fairly fast so we got there in 20 minutes . The Toy Story parking lot is only a 15 minute walk and the bus take you to the park. So another option when got to the park. Room review it is really not that bad. Yes it is outdated but that is how it show on the website so you know what you are getting into. If it's not your style you can put a little extra money into the higher end Hiltons. But everything was very clean. There was no old smell. The water pressure was really great and the water heated up really fast which is great after a day in the parks. I believes some of the rooms have the sofas so it's kind of like a living room and bedroom vibe. This is great if you're taking a large family some people can sleep on the couch even. You have a nice hangout space if you have a break from the park. It is about the same price or less the regular room . We were able to get our room $113 after taxes and parking it was $180. The parking was $30 which is a given at any hotel by Disney. Regardless if you were to drive to Disney each day it's about the same price each. It is a compromise to be in a close distance to the park to walk pretty close and have a shuttle. I think it breaks even with making sure that your car is safe. Yes it sucks paying for parking but almost every hotel near Disneyland charges for parking each night. Also, the room does come with a fridge and microwave if you were trying to save and be budget friendly you can bring your own food when going to the parks or just traveling in general. Enjoyed the morning breakfast and got there well before the big groups of guests did. The hot items were at a station and you have to inform the gal if you want eggs, sausage, and or hashbrowns. Cereal, bagels, toast, fruit, yogurt, juices, donuts and coffee was at self serve stations. Check out was easy and we returned our keys to the courteous front desk clerk. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. 4 stars.
