The work the team did was beautiful and a great value for the price. We went a little over 10% over budget, which is just about what I expected for a project like this, and I was pleasantly surprised that we actually finished a few days early. The work comes with a 3-year warranty too (which we needed in the past and have had no trouble using), which gives extra peace of mind. Each person on the project - Elena the project manager, Juan the site supervisor, Alexa the designer, John the estimator, and especially the lead technician Cornelio was a pleasure to work with. As with any renovation, there are always surprises and hiccups along the way, but the team handled everything professionally, even when I was stressed and occasionally cranky. One thing of particular note was how much the team was willing to work with me when the inevitable surprises came up. There are things that nobody can foresee, which usually results in a change order and extra cost, but then there are those little things where everyone leaves a conversation with a different impression. In those latter instances, I always really appreciated how willing everyone was to meet me halfway and to make sure I felt good about how things were going and confident that we were doing right by each other. The re-facing of my large concrete porch with quartz stone was the most challenging of the projects, compounded by several ill-timed rainy days. Had to actually get back in touch with one of the contractors because he had forgotten to send me the estimate for the project. Got in touch with W & A construction, William P. showed up on time to have a look at the repairs that needed to be done, sent me an estimate in a timely manner. William and his crew showed up on time to start with the project, got to work right away and I was very happy with the results and the price, repairs looked better than brand new.
