Amazing contractor!!!…read more Lawrence and his crew did a complete renovation of our basement to build an apartment for my parents. From the design through completion, it was a great experience. I found them here on Yelp and I obtained 3 quotes for the job. I had the quotes reviewed by an independent contractor who told me L&R's quote was what the job should reasonably cost. I called 4 references who all had a similar and very positive experience. Lawrence always communicated with me about schedule which had not been the case with other contractors. They were there working on my job every day, not showing up once or twice a week like some others. Any fluctuation to schedule or budget was discussed and agreed upon by both parties. We had a couple of unexpected plumbing delays but that was due to the original build not being up to the current code. I changed direction on a couple of design decisions and Lawrence was right there with me. The work was exceptional and the end product is amazing. I have had the nightmare contractor experience so was very cautious. This was exactly as the process should be and I plan to have them back in the fall to do more work. From start to finish, everything about my experience was handled professionally, quickly, and fairly. I had an upstairs shower that had been a nightmare from the first day we bought the house. Mr. Swann gave me a run-down of the process of how this would get fixed, an accurate timeline, and a good list of expectations. His crew was extremely professional, making all of the demolition and construction process occur without any clean-up on my end. They even made sure that no drywall dust got into my kitchen during their work, which was a big deal for me. All in all, I had an excellent experience. I would give them 6 stars, if it were possible. We received 3 bids on our multiple home projects. Let me preface this by saying my boss (whom I trust a great deal) does all of his own home repairs, and gave me a list of 'should-cost', taking into consideration contractor's profit. The first bid we received was priced so ridiculously low, we knew there was no way a quality job could be accomplished at that rate. The second company was more than double my boss's recommendation. Finally we received Stan's bid... SPOT-ON with what my boss said it should cost! Working with Stan was truly a pleasure! His company demonstrated exemplary reliability and timeliness, quality and workmanship, integrity and honesty, and solid communication. On top of that, Stan himself is just a great guy! It was time to redo our 25 year old pressure treated deck as the deck boards were beginning to…read morecrack and become troublesome for us for some time. We asked about 4 contractors to quote to replace our deck boards, railing and steps while reusing our 6x6 pressure treated post. Dan's quote was both competitive and fair which turned out to be the best option for us. We were glad to find that Dan's helpful and patient manner with all potential deck design options were seriously taken into consideration. He addressed our requests accurately and politely while working up our quote. His crew was obviously well skilled and well managed which served to ensure a quality job for us. As the crew were demoing our old deck they found that most of our pressure treated 6x6 post were up to 65% rotted out due to ground contact - fortunately our deck joist were still in great shape and could be reused. Dan advised how the extra work would affect the job and we were very happy with his adjustment to the original quote (he was most fair). Dan's no-pressure style with the job was a big part of helping us be confident that the job would turn out great during the build phase (which may be stressful to some). Bottom line - Dan did a great job for us at a fair price in a time window he said he would. The crew was very respectful and did a great job with the deck build and clean up afterwards.

This review is long overdue, but I've been meaning to share our wonderful experience with Al, Mike…read moreand their team on the multiple projects they completed for our old, complex house. We converted two rooms plus a hallway into a master suite as well as split two large upstairs rooms into three. We had structural concerns and lots of logistics to work out and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Mike to draw up the plans to make sure everything is safe and up to code. Al oversaw the projects and was in constant communication with us and regularly was on site to make sure everything was going smoothly. If anything wasn't 100% correct or what we had discussed, he would make sure it was remedied. Big shout out to Franz who even showed up to work the day after his wife had a baby! The M3 team worked late days and on weekends (with our consent) to meet their deadlines, even when the county held them up with permitting issues they still worked hard to finish within our timeframe. We even made major changes to our plans after construction had begun and they were able to pivot and help us get more square footage for the upstairs bedrooms. There were also numerous curveballs that they handled with ease (ya never know what you'll get with an old house). This was our first time doing any sort of large project and the team at M3 gave us plenty of guidance and support to make sure the finished product exceeded our expectations.
