While Kobe has never done any work for me, based on my interactions with him, I absolutely would not hesitate to reach out to him should my needs ever coincide with the services he and his company provide. I'm in escrow on a home that has foundation problems and I contacted Kobe on Yelp to do a foundation and structural inspection. As he only does new construction, he instead made a very helpful referral to me for someone who he informed me was "brilliant" and whose prices were very reasonable. Given how much money I've already spent on inspections, that was music to my ears. You don't find brilliant and affordable too often in an inspector! Kobe took time to answer all my questions in the process of his referral. Mind you, I was not even positive that a structural engineer was what I needed for the inspection. Another engineer I had contacted at the same time as Kobe warned me that I needed a soil or geo-engineer. Kobe then asked detailed questions about the actual condition of the foundation and concluded that I should indeed start with an inspection from a structural engineer. Kobe was super patient, helpful, and responsive even though he knew that we wouldn't be doing any business together.
