Wow!!! I've been through so much to get to this point. Having great dental insurance is something I…read morenever had. Now I'm in a better place. I've meet the most horrible oral surgeons in my time. Dr. Erakat is the best. He greeted me and my husband with open arms. He explained everything to me and I'm so calm. I'll be heavenly sedated so I'll need a ride home. Dr. Erakat didn't make me feel stupid and I'm eager to get my surgery over this Monday Just remember if you want to acquire about his service. Make sure that you have a PPO insurance and not a DMO.. I want to futher explain about insurance. Insurance can be an complete nightmare. Having an DMO plan leaves you to only the providers that your insurance picks. Those dental/surgeons don't always have your best interest at heart. Call your insurance company and make sure you have the best they have to offer. Edit: 1/28/19 I'm home now and my surgery went amazing. Dr. Erakat and his team stayed right by my side. He started me off with laughing gas. As I was relaxing he was telling my husband everything about after care. I remember him telling my husband I was going out and he will call me back in. Once I woke up I thought we was getting started. That's just how fast it went. Cool part is that he gave me my wisdom teeth Okay pain meds kicking in so I'll update later

Quick, easy, and painless! I'm on day 3 post wisdom tooth extraction and have had minimal swelling…read moreand pain. I've read horror stories of other experiences post extraction so i'm very happy that I went with Dr. Ekarat for this procedure as he knows what he's doing. His team was also fantastic and they provided great after care instructions. Thank you Prestige Oral Surgery!

Dr. Torin Rutner did an implant for me early in 2025; my first implant ever (I'm 70)! He was…read moreprofessional, clearly explained the process, the number of visits and time frame until his part was completed. He answered all my questions and was personable enough that I felt I could trust him for a procedure that required skill & precision. This process involved drilling into the upper jaw ~ there is risk involved! My regular dentist requested that Dr. Rutner use a scan-able implant head; he complied, so when it was time to prepare for the permanent crown, instead of using the old school moulds, my dentist just scanned all the teeth in my mouth with a hand held device and sent it electronically to the lab who made the crown! It saved time and was much better than having one of those awful moulds used for impressions! The end result is a natural looking tooth, so I feel the quality and care was spot-on! In the end, the time frame he gave me was accurate. That is why I don't understand the poor reviews here; my experience with Dr. Rutner's office staff, technicians was excellent. The waiting room times were excellent. The longest wait time for one of my 4 appointments was 15 minutes. There was no problem with the billing. Everything was spelled out in advance, so again, I don't understand why others cited problems. I would definitely return to Dr. Rutner in the future if the need ever arises.

Dr. Rutner and a local endodontist worked together to try to bully me into an extraction and…read moreimplant. They convinced me I needed repetitive and uncovered xrays, and then told me I need surgery. I left and Rutner and his office staff HARASSED me, calling me repeatedly saying the "issue" (which was actually a botched root canal) was life threatening and needed to come out ASAP. Luckily I got a second opinion from an honest oral surgeon who sent me to someone who fixed the root canal and I never had a problem again...until I got the bill. I would avoid at all costs.
