I tasted them at Iron Mann in Girard. Shout out to those guys for having this extensive selection, along with great, friendly service I'd say check out 1547 wherever you find them and see how your tastes compare to mine... My impression of the beers (always a subjective matter, of course) went down something like this: 1400 Miles From Home - a Key Lime Sour. Very light sour, to my liking, with all of the flavors in the description working together quite nicely Kolsch - another light version of this style. It is a good summer beer for someone who wants a little more flavor than a Bud/Coors/Miller Ohio Heat Wave - subtle habanero on the back end slowly builds, but that's about the only thing I'm picking up. This is a very light beer Hang 11 - a sweet IPA? The bitterness is as advertised. Would love to know the hops involved. Very drinkable, but don't expect a mouthful of IPA. More like a sweet, session IPA in my opinion Shooktown NE IPA - first taste hit very nice. Like most of them, it tastes very close to the description. No bitterness, but like others on the flight, it's a light version of this style. I'm used to a more potent hit of juice from a NE IPA, it's drinkable for sure

Firecracker 3/10 This cocktail was all sweetness from the grenadine, you couldn't taste anything else. Would recommend more lemonade in this and a taller glass. Would not get again. Crab Cakes 8/10 They were good, but a little dry. I'm pretty sure it was real crab meat. They do not come with any sauce or Remoulade or anything on the side, but they definitely need something. Cheese Sticks 10/10 Good breading, fry, and nicely melted cheese. Buffalo Chicken Pizza 8/10 I was surprised to see it was like a chicken dip on top of the dough. It's very difficult to eat when it first comes out, and the chicken mixture just falls off the dough. Dough was cooked well though, and had a good crust. As a whole, it was decent, but it needed something, I just can't think of what. West End Quesadilla 8/10 This quesadilla was ok, but probably wouldn't order again. The tomato juices were all over the bottom of the plate making the tortilla super soggy, and I would prefer if the tomatoes were inside, along with a little more cheese inside as well because it just kept falling apart. It needed something to bind everything together.

We enjoyed our Cajun chicken pasta (4.5/5) and the buffalo chicken sandwich (4.5/5). The Backpack Stash IPA was really good and this is coming from someone who doesn't drink much beer. The walls had a lot of cool historical vintage photos and antique items. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We had really good friendly service (5/5). We recommend this restaurant! Happy Yelping :)

Our server was Dustin (or Justin, we weren't sure) who was terrific (ask for him to wait on you, if you can!) I had the Italian Panini which was so yummy! Also the side dish of loaded mashed potatoes with gravy ..... They were just okay. It was quite a cold night, so 3 of us had nice hot cups of tea served in these quaint handmade mugs! And I had a glass of homemade root beer ..... ya can't go wrong! The prices are reasonable: my tea, root beer, and Italian Panini were $25. I think very moderate. Reservations are highly recommended. You can make one online for a party of up to 6. Larger groups must be reserved over the phone. Highly recommend and I would give it more than five stars if I could!

The owner has a 90's vibe going with posters on the wall and other decorations. Which is positive to me knowing the 90's was my time of growing from a teenager and ending with an engagement. This place had different places to sit from couches to tables and chairs. They had different beers on taps. Wife had a sangria and I had two different hazy IPA's which I liked them both. Jason sat down with us and chatted about the brewery. Told us they been here for 11 years. Told us everything the owner was doing. Positive changes. Provided us with a map of local brewery passports in the area and in Ohio. Provided some recommendations to different breweries and likewise from our end. Since this was the 80th microbrewery that we've visited in the Pittsburgh region. We almost have them all visited. Goals for 2023. This place is a good stop. They have fooleries next door and nearby to visit. We will come back while in the area. Jason was great..

We had the Roggenbier which is a style and recipe I see very little of in our craft beer drinking experiences. It's very similar to a Hefeweizen but rye is put into the recipe instead. It was a very intriguing outing having this kind of beer and had a nice, smooth light flavor to it. I definitely need to give kudos to the brewery for making something out of the ordinary which I feel like it's a rut that I feel I fall into by trying the same and mainstream beer styles time and time again.
