I've been coming to Recon since they opened & I am a Mug Club Member. They have many great beers on tap, BRC is their flagship beer, other taps will vary (IPA, stout, sours, ESB, wheat, ale), depending on the season that you visit. They also have PA wines, Wigle spirits, Boyd & Blair, Surfside cans, growlers to go & some non-alcoholic beer/mocktails. They have special events here such as karaoke night, and trivia night and then a bunch of other smaller events that you can check the website for details about. They have a nice little patio that is dog friendly outside. They also have music some evenings. They have stepped up their game in the past three years with their menu and it changes seasonally. My go to is their buffalo chicken flatbread on the cauliflower crust. Parking is free, it's located in the Meeder neighborhood. Shout out to Hailey, Kayla, Kristen, Renee & Deanna.

Amazing service, great beer (I would recommend the BRC) and delicious food. One thing I will say is that the menu has changed slightly over the past 6 months of coming here. It would be great to have the crab cakes and the sriracha bourbon pizza back on the menu!

First time here. Neat place with an industrial vibe. We stopped on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We shared the Sriracha Bourbon Chicken Flatbread & Antipasta salad w balsamic & each had a flight of beer. Everything was very tasty. The beers are very good! Lots of activities are going on almost every day. Look forward to returning the nicer weather coming up.

I stopped by here this past Friday with a former coworker for some afternoon drinks. Today was actually the third time that I had been to Recon Brewing at Meeder and for some reason I hadn't written a review yet. As its name states it's located inside the Meeder Development right near 19 in Cranberry. This location is actually quite big and had both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a large bar. There are TVs around and on this day golf was on them. As I often do whenever I visit a brewery, I decided on a flight this day. Flights at Recon Brewing consist of 4 pours and so I chose the OK 2 Talk, Meeder, More than Words and Sip Sip Sahooty. First up was the Ok 2 Talk stout which was on the Karma Tap, whatever that means. This beer was pretty good and it was nice and clean at the start before those dark smokey malts came in which lasted through the finish. Up second was the Meeder which was an Irish Red Ale. The beer starts off with a bit of caramel flavor before moving into some hoppy bitterness at the finish. It's not the overpowering hop of an IPA and more akin to an ESB. Third was the More than words which was a hazy New England IPA. The hops were there from start to finish with some citrusy flavors in the middle. Last but certainly not least was the Sip Sip Sahooty which was a Hazy New England Imperial IPA. Like the other IPA it starts off with a strong hop flavor before some citrus adds in. Honestly I didn't like the flavor of it as it was over the top and just not pleasant to my palate. Out of the bunch I think I liked the OK 2 Talk and then the Meeder the best. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Obviously I already have as I do enjoy both their beer as well as the location/setup.

If you want something new in cranberry you need to stop by Recon brewing. It is right in the middle of the Meder home complex. Fun place to stop by for a lunch and beverage

Nice little brewpub in the Meeder development, and a brewery that I haven't tried their beer before. We had prompt service on a slower day and we enjoyed all of the different brews we ordered I especially liked their steak grinder with a nice mix of pepper relish on top. Looking forward to trying this place again!

I went to Recon Brewing recently and loved the beer I had! I tried the 200 Carrot beer and it was super unique with a fantastic base taste to the beer. My Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich was very solid, the chicken was just a little chewy but still quite tasty. Finally, the nachos (pictured below) tasted fine but were very basic with only cheese and jalapeños on top of them. They tasted like cheaper store-bought chips so the price was a little much for them in my opinion. That is the only thing that truly knocked down my rating but I enjoyed my experience, the ambiance was very cool, and staff was very friendly! I will definitely return to try other beer and food in the future!

Nice place to hang out. Dog friendly. Atmosphere is great with acoustic bands playing. Affordable menu items. Basic bar food. Great variety of beer & cider. Nothing particularly special about the food we tried. The star was the donuts.

Great beers and great food. Everything tasted great together. Menu and taplist are digital, but they do have a taplist above the bar. Loved the sweet and spicy pickles served on the side - a very unique combination. Will definitely be back!

Great outdoor atmosphere. Great beer and their giant pretzel is huge and delicious! I'd recommend checking them out!

So this review is based solely off the space, staff and beer. I did not try the food, but it looked good. I'm loving that Cranberry finally has a brewery in town. The space is very nice. My only complaint is that it is really, really loud inside. My buddy and I almost had to yell to talk to each other. My suggestion would be some sound dampening panels. The staff seemed really nice, decent bar food menu, interesting assortment of drafts. Although I've lived in The area for 20 years, I've never tried any Recon brews. Tonight I ordered two of their New England IPA's. Both were decent, not incredible, but decent. Next time I will definitely eat there. Keep up the good work, can't wait to sit outside enjoying some drafts close to home.

He allowed us to sample a few beers and made suggestions to help us choose. There were a few hazy options as well as a black IPA. There is food onsite, which is supplied by sandwich shop Long Story short. The menu includes soft pretzel, pizza and a quesadilla. We had the quesadilla which was filled with tasty seasoned shredded beef. Also had the pretzel which came with mustard but surprisingly not beer cheese! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Their menu at this location is a bit limited, especially if you want something on draft. Their stout beers and IPAs are all on tap but lagers are only available in can and only 4 options. I ordered the Lil Cinder out of the can, which was a wonderfully cheap $3. It's one of my favorites at their other location and was happy it had a consistent smooth and refreshing taste out of the can too. I would have liked some more beer options, like sour or wheat beers, but understand it's only the taproom.

We started with the spinach and artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks as appetizers with a runny dip and $12 for 6 mozz sticks that were straight from freezer to fryer. They indicate that the marinara is homemade, but these clearly were not. I ordered garlic parmesan wings with ranch, and noticeably their was no garlic or parmesan as far as I could tell. It was just butter. The wings were cooked fine, but I can't believe they would serve a product like this. And I've said it before, but I'll say it again - their homemade ranch is horrible. It's supposed to be "garlic" ranch, but they might as well call it sugar ranch. I can't think of any other scenario where I wouldn't eat ranch, so this is an incredible bar to suppass. We also ordered our meals with pub chips and received French fries. The waitress confirmed that it was entered correctly, which it was but the kitchen staff messed up. The soft pretzel appetizer was good but not worth the price tag for as little as you got. The kids pizza was very fluffy pizza dough. It tasted great. The buffalo chicken ranch wrap and authentic Philly were also good. Pub chips were cooked and seasoned perfectly with a little salt and pepper. The only thing we did not particularly like was the garlic ranch. I prefer regular ranch but this was their signature specialty and was noted as a topping on food items.
