My "three week" project to install a sink, vanity and new cabinet door turned into a three and a…read morehalf month project! I do not recommend this company. Their lack of communications is unbelievable! Messages are NEVER returned in a timely manner, sometimes never returned! They messed up my walls, which thankfully I had more product so I could fix them. They broke the trim on my door and pushed it together and left it like that, so the wood is cracked! Who does that and just leaves it? The first time they installed the doors, they put them into the door jamb, so you could not open the doors all of the way! It took four days to install a vanity, a vanity top and change two cabinet doors. I have a six car driveway, they parked on the edge of driveway and put ruts in my yard! Save yourself some heartache and frustration and stay away from this company.

He came over, showed us their credentials and listened to our questions and concerns. We weren't in any hurry and knew it would be awhile which was fine. The day finally arrived. They put our roof on and it looked great. Someone did have to go back up and secure a few shingles, but no big deal. Then the siding guys came. They did a great job and even trimmed our bushes so they could get to the house okay. We have two dogs and they were very careful to keep the gate closed which we appreciated. Then the gutter guys came and finished up the house. Everything looks great and they cleaned up the yard. We are very pleased with everything. After a successful and responsive refinishing project I had high hopes for painting of my interior…read morehome. All started well enough, and we got things started. I was under the impression that these were direct employees of his, his crew. Basically he was acting as a general contractor that hired another company or hired some people looking for work. Not really sure here. I realize I made some changes, but they were clear and written in a revised proposal. I didn't want the doors painted, then I got a phone call that they were painted. Sure, he didn't charge me for this, but that is proper after all. I didn't want the trim painted, and paid for that, because I missed it in the proposal. My fault. They also painted the hardware for opening/closing the windows, those were metal and need the proper paint, I did have them take that off. The house didn't have flooring in, so I was asked about drop cloths, I said use them but don't worry too much about a few paint splatters. However, I did indicate that I wasn't removing the slate flooring and to be careful. Here is a big fail, many paint spots. He tried to have them clean it up. Now the floor is sticky, you can here the soles of your shoes and feel it too. He tried cleaning that up, when it wasn't done, he offered to do it again. I really felt he had done enough. I'm still trying to find a way to clean this up, because it's sticky any dust or what not sticks to it. It's really upsetting, as I loved this detail. I will look to bring in some professionals and see what this will set me back. There's also spots on the bathroom floors, which were also said that I wasn't removing. And those doors that were painted, they weren't dry and were closed, now that paint has popped off, so I have to touch that up, or maybe just start replacing doors. I realize also this review is a year since the work was done, I was in the middle of doing the rest of the work this last year. I almost considered them for doing the kitchen rehab. I really feel I dodged a bullet there. Noah, is a nice man, I think his intentions are good. However, the whole interior project was a mess, left me very frustrated, and I have projects left to do because of it. I don't think he checked up on the work as it was being done, and I don't think he looked at it after until I contacted him. Paint shouldn't have been on that slate, nor should you stick to your floor. I also had to point on paint spots on light fixtures, that should've been cleaned. Just no.

NEVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE! MRL Home Improvements was hired by…read moremy long-term general contractor to put on a new roof, and it was the worst experience I have had in 50 years of home ownership. Not one person of the 10-man crew spoke English, no bi-lingual supervisor ever showed up during the work, and they were totally careless about the damage they did to other parts of the house. Photos show the mountains of trash thrown on the porch, all around the yard, and onto the landscaping. There was so much being thrown off the roof that it was dangerous to step out any door. They couldn't repair all the damage they did and mess they made, but I guess they did end up paying for my GC to replace almost 100 ft of damaged gutters, 60 ft of bent fascia, and an air conditioner service call to dismantle and remove trash and 31 nails from inside. The list goes on and on. Thanks to the GC for getting the issues resolved as best as possible, but we had to cancel plans for multiple days while all the mess and damage was repaired. No reputable company would have treated our home this way, or unleased a crew of obviously under trained, disorganized, and careless workers. Worst home repair event of my life, and none of my friends or family have every experienced anything like this either. On the bright side, my GC did step up to the plate and get this resolved rather than these people just walking away. I hope their work installing backing, shingles, vents, etc. were up to snuff. At this point, only time will tell.
