Well, actually, Ken in the service department showed the vehicle to us. I have dealt with car dealers many times and they have been the most courteous and helpful of any I've ever met. I took a car there and had the motor replaced with a new motor straight from the factory with an 8yr warranty.First off it took 3 weeks for him to get around to it.....then THE DAY I PICKED IT UP I ONLY MADE IT ACROSS TOWN BEFORE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. Then after only 2359 mi my car began to leak lots of oil so I took it back to wheel city motors when they told me it was the rear main seal. I contacted the engine manufacturer who said they sent a new seal with the motor and if it was bad they would cover parts and labor but if wheel city motors had not put on the new seal nothing was covered. Kevin refused to do any work till he knew who was paying for the fix and refused to take the car apart to figure out if it was the the new seal that failed or his mechanic was lazy and left the old seal on.IT IS REAL SIMPLE....FIX THE CAR!! IF THE NEW SEAL IS BAD YOU GET PAID BY THE WARRANTY NO PROBLE...IF ITS THE OLD SEAL THAT IS STILL ON IT YOU FIX YOUR OWN SCREW UP After all of this I went to pick up my car to take somewhere else i calmly told Kevin "I dont think you handled this situation correctly at all, you never once made me feel like you cared about me or my car just you wallet." His reply was exactly what I expected from a "used car salesman" he said "your entitled to your opinion and can take it somewhere else." exactly what I expected...still no attempt to even remotely fix the situation....STAY AWAY FROM WHEEL CITY MOTORS IN REEDSBURG!!!!!!!

    I will say. I was satisfied with my service the first 4 times. How ever earlier this week. I took…read moremy 2011 Lincoln Navigator in for a front end brake job. They decided that my rotors needed to be replaced not turned. The mechanic took the callipers off the vehicle. Opening the brake fluid system to open air. I was lead to the mechanic bay to see the parts. So yes I know they took the callipers off for a fact. They returned my car to me. So I figured it was fixed. Before I got out of the parking lot the brake light came on. So I bought brake fluid and topped it off. Before I was half a mile a way. The brake light was on again. I took it back and told them they left some thing loose. When the mechanic was told to check his work. His response was it was a simple brake job. There was no need to check the brake fluid level. When you take the callipers off the vehicle it is no longer a simple brake job and there is definitely a need to bleed the brakes. After an hour they determined the master cylinder back seal went bad. So I would need to pay another $618.00 to get it fixed. Personally if it could have been driven I would have taken it home and fixed it myself. But I had to barrow the money to get the brakes. The master seal went bad by they're actions. Either do to incompetence or on purpose. So double check they're work if you can.

Our vehicle was a no start the first day we got there Wednesday July 13 at 10:45pm. Most shops, including Precision Automotive, were booked solid and some were not very pleasant when I called. Joe at Precision Automotive was up front with me as well. He was booked solid and under staffed. He was so pleasant on the phone and completely honest about his work load situation. Other places that I talked to were vague and gave me a bad vibe with an almost dismissive attitude about my predicament. Joe was empathetic and very accommodating. He had a window of opportunity to make the diagnosis on the vehicle but said he may not be able to make the repair in the couple days we had left on our vacation time. I went with him anyway. I would rather stay longer at the Dells than planned and deal with an honest and genuine person/establishment than the obvious alternative. They diagnosed the vehicle and again told me that they could not make any promises on the repair time. We were staying at a resort and had to check out. We had nowhere to put our luggage and were ready to bring it to our van and try to find another hotel to stay at same day, on a Friday in the middle of July. I got the call at 8:30 in the morning that the van was fixed! Joe told me that I was extremely lucky that the repair was able to be performed (honestly modest). He didn't take any credit for the fact that our vehicle was "squeezed into the work load that he was already dealing with." Maybe it was luck but my gut tells me Precision Automotive manages their time very well. I am rambling on because I am so impressed. Honest, efficient and a fair price. Let's be honest; I was in a situation where I could have been taken advantage of in a really big way. A huge "thank you" to the team at Precision Automotive Repair of Reedsburg LLC!
