Ted Norton and his crew painted the interior of our home; Swiss coffee (white) for ceiling, doors, trim, and Snip of Tannin (light taupe) for walls and master vanity). Our living room ceiling is 25 feet high, so painting our interior was more difficult than normal. The quality of their work was 1st Class. His painters include his brother and are a highly capable team and easy to work with, as was Hugo. His attitude is to "make it right". They did an incredible job prepping the house and garage for painting - great attention to detail! In addition to the exterior painting, we had him stain our deck, paint our patio furniture, the metal handrails and electric gate. He is very knowledgeable and had great suggestions. Norman was one of the first contractors we worked with and we were very happy with his work. But its only after working with dozens more contractors and handymen that we truly can appreciate how exceptional he was. Quick to complete the work and absolute perfection...I am picky and can honestly say I haven't seen a single area of the floor that doesn't look perfect! And the custom hardwood treads he put on our stairs look like they could have been manufactured...perfect glossy top coat and deep, rich, even color. He went the extra mile to get them the exact color I wanted and never made me feel bad...he said he did 6 coats! We only regret we dont have more floors for Norm. We highly recommend his whole team. We purchased 800 sq ft. of character-filled, utility, oak flooring to be installed by a contractor in the area that we have previously worked with. Apparently, he is going through a mid-life crisis and was completely unreliable. He procrastinated for several months to tell us that he couldn't do the job. We were stuck and in a precarious situation since it was winter and we are expecting a new baby soon. I found Norman Olsen on Craigslist and subsequently saw other reviews/info online. I called him and he came over the next day and measured our space. He was upfront, honest and easy to deal with. He gave us a great price and fit us in right before Christmas. As a family with small children, we were very pleased with the professionalism of the flooring installers, Jr. And Ryan. They were very knowledgable and cordial. We appreciated their refreshing and above board work-ethic. They installed baseboards for a very reasonable price as well. We are so very pleased with the results and if we decide to get our downstairs done they will be the first to call. Our floors are beautifully patterned and we adore looking at them. This flooring company is an A+.
