    Custom bowl

Created my own tuna and salmon custom poke bowl at this place! The portion sizes are fair for the price, but there isn't as much topping variety as other places. That said, I did like that they offered tobiko as an optional topping! I expected that since I was paying more for the dual protein (both salmon and tuna), I'd be receiving a slightly more generous amount. And so, imagine my surprise to find that only one scoop was given! Moreover, the combined salmon tuna mixture didn't look comparably ad fresh as the other plain salmon or plain tuna options. The meal kept me decently full, but I feel that I would have been more satisfied with a bit more food. That said, the flavours were great overall (loved the pickled carrots and daikon)!

Food: 4 Stars Service: 4 Stars Ambience: N/A This is located in the food court underneath Metro Hall. They offer Korean bowls, poke bowls and baos with the option of protein such as BBQ chicken, spicy pork, etc. I selected the Korean BBQ bowl this day and I have got to say it was pretty good. Loved the edamame and fried onions especially. The purple rice which I chose however was a little off but it was minor and overall I enjoyed the flavours of the bowl. The service was pretty fast and efficient. It was like an assembly line where you order at one end and they pass off onto the next station which adds the next set of ingredients until you reach the cash register. I will definitely come back and try their other offerings. A pretty good option if you are looking to pick up something quick.

Food is okay, nothing special. The choices are random, some don't really go together. Filling portion for $11.99+tax. Server was really rude though

Came here for lunch and built my own salmon bowl. The toppings and sauces are Korean inspired, hence it's a bit different than the other poke bowl places downtown. For example you can get gochujang (Korean red pepper paste) as one of the sauce options, or kimchi, seaweed, edamame for toppings. The flavour was OK but the downside is it's a bit pricey. I had to pay $1.5 extra for avocados in my bowl. I also didn't find too many toppings that appealed to me. I ordered the salmon bowl with kale, edamame, seaweed salad, crunchy onion, avocado and spicy mayo sauce.

I work very close to Koha Pacific Kitchen, but only discovered it recently! Located in the Path of Toronto, Koha is nestled in a corner of one of the many underground food courts you'll find in the city. The concept is very interesting but makes a lot of sense! Blending Korean and Hawaiian foods results in something amazing! I decided to make my own bowl because there's nothing more I love than customizing my meals. The staff are very nice and allow for mixing. I chose a base of half purple rice and half zucchini noodles with half bulgogi beef and half spicy pork as my protein. While you are allowed to mix meats, you cannot mix the cooked meats with the raw ones. It's very hard to choose 3 ingredients, but you can always add more for an additional cost. The pineapple salsa is great- I definitely recommend it. Altogether, my meal cost about $13 and was enough to make 1.5 meals for me! I just added some additional ingredients to my leftover box the next day and had a second meal.

3.5 for me. I tried the ahi tuna bowl and was impressed that they had zucchini noodles as a base, it was good and interesting! They were also very generous with toppings unlike some other places. However, the tuna was not very good quality and cut very poorly (as if with a dull knife). For $15 I would expect decent quality fish being used. I still enjoyed my meal though and would come back to try their other items.

Too much flavouring but nothing makes sense and doesn't have any taste and salmon doesn't look fresh.
