After 5 days…read moreof asking a question about a medication refill and being completely ignored, I finally received a "no" with an extremely passive aggressive and degrading phone conversation with a medical assistant. I have had multiple occasions of passive aggressive communication or no communication at all with this provider. After struggling with light-headedness and migraines for a week, I went in for a 5 minute conversation with no tests or solutions. The doctor insisted it was a "hangover" when I've never really drank alcohol in my life. I wasn't informed on my insurance coverage change, and this 5 minute conversation was $60. I had an odd physical injury being hit with a golfball, and I could hear nurses speaking about my situation and laughing outside the room. Made me feel bad and uncomfortable for asking for a female doctor for my first Pap smear. I schedule visits only to be seen weeks later, and never with my primary doctor. My entire family, friends, and co workers have all switched from this provider as these experiences are widespread. This practice has turned into a money-focused business. There is no family-feel when receiving care.

Found myself rushed to the exit without bloodwork slip, no mammogram appointment slip, cant pay my copay like I used to. Kiosks for check in are great idea but how about figuring them out first, epic fail. Do yourself a favor, find a doctor who cares, done here.

It's a busy clinic but the front office staff, medical assistants, residents and attending physicians have always been personable and caring, attentive and thorough. The wait, to be roomed, has been anywhere from 3 to 20 minutes (longer if the patient before has complex health issues or an urgent condition) but it's not bad. The staff have been helpful with referrals to various community resources. This is a community focused environment where everyone is respected regardless of their life orientation or skin color.

She diagnosed it as a pulled muscle, but I believe it is pleuritic chest pain. This was a third year student and her attending physician never even came into the room to speak to me. This is the second time our family has had a misdiagnosis at this office. The other time was this summer when they diagnosed my son's swollen knee as bursitis when it was a staph infection.

The nurses on staff are also highly skilled. They all make both my kids feel comfortable and cared for all well, which is the most important factor to me as a mom. Even though I am also a healthcare provider, they don't treat me like I know everything either, they take the time to explain things to me (this is not me area of expertise)! When I walk in the front door I can just be mom! This is so much appreciated as well. KCCC has adapted well during the pandemic as well and we've had no issues with breaks in services and my kids continued to be well cared for. We appreciate all the care that they have given our family.

After dealing with the NHS (admittedly, I am just not familiar with it and thus it baffles me) system in the UK, I was very happy to just call and schedule a pediatrician appointment with Kids Creek for the month or so I spent at home with said bebe. Wow, they actually ask me when I want an appointment! Amazing what paying out the nose for every cotton swab and glance of a doctor will getcha! Humor aside, I wanted to establish care for this child in Traverse City as we do spend quite a bit of time there, and like I said BABIES LOVE APPOINTMENTS. With a quick call to Kids Creek we were scheduled quickly and were on our way. We saw Dr. Robertson twice while in TC -- and I was very happy with him. Super friendly, very through, easy manner, genuinely seems to like babies and people (read: good beside manner), has 4 of of his own kids and just generally seems like a good guy. Score one for the good doctors, glad we found him. He's recently purchased the practice from the original doctor that established it -- and things seem to be going quite well. From appointment setting to check-out and follow-up, I was very pleased. He answered all of my questions, made nice remarks about how good my kid looks and made me feel at ease. They are also moving to all electronic records and bringing the practice into this century, which I find to be quite a good thing and look forward to.
