Kohl's used to be a wonderful store for all kinds of small shower gifts. This location was well-stocked with merchandise, but very thin on knowledgeable employees. The store was fairly clean. There is plenty of parking. Fortunately, it is located on a busy shopping strip with plenty of competition. Since we couldn't find what we were looking for, we will continue to check out the other nearby competitors. read more

I purchased an electric blanket with a warranty of 5 years. The blanket stopped workin less than a year after purchase. Reached out to Kohls and I was told the return policy is only 6 months. Then I reached out to the vendor who told me that I need to go to the store, not the vendor. In other words, warranty items don't mean a thing when purchased at kohls. To make it worse, they use suppliers that offer a warranty, but they don't honor the warranties. I will never purchase anything from Kohls again. read more

I went to the Kohl's location in Berlin, CT today. It has been over a year since I had been here because of the pandemic, but I did shop on line at Kohl's.com the past year. Considering June is Pride month, I was disappointed that no pride tee shirts or items were available for sale. I realize Kohl's.com sells pride merchandise but I don't understand why local managers don't sell them in their stores. I'm not sure if they think the merchandise is not worth selling or they are just being cowards. A disappointed shopper today. read more

Pretty sure I've reviewed here before, but I'll review it again. This is normally the Kohl's store that I go to or have online pick up orders go through since I've had so many problems with the Rocky Hill store. I've gotta say I'm usually in and out in under 5 mins if I'm just picking something up from the customer service desk, so that's much appreciated. I wish they had a larger winter coat selection though, every year I'm here it seems like it's smaller and smaller and I just have to buy things online, which when you're buying a coat, it makes it such an inconvenience. read more

This Kohl's just opened up a few weeks ago, on the far South end of the Berlin Turnpike in Berlin. It's the same shopping strip as Home Depot and Imperial Buffet, if that helps... The store is... fine. I mean, it's a Kohl's, what more do you want....Clothing, Shoes, Kitchen, Bed, Jewelry. This store is well organized, and run by seemingly nice people. Although it was a little stupid to be hassled at the door by store reps offering Kohl's charge cards... For the last time, no I do not want to save 20% today by opening a Kohl's charge account. Perhaps their efforts would be better spent ringing the customers that were waiting on a relatively long Friday night checkout line. One nice little touch is the presentation of the prices. They're cleverly shown on these postcard-sized, black-and-white electronic screen thingies. On one hand, it's kind of cool, on the other, such a system could lend itself to prices changing arbitrarily and constantly, which seems to be a hallmark of Kohl's and it's competitors. Coupons remain excellent at Kohl's. My girlfriend [The unassailable Queen of Coupons] used a $10 off $10 coupon tonight, so she got some placemats real cheap. Whoop dee doo. Five stars for being close to my house. Some complain that this location is smaller than the rest, but for me, it is less daunting and more welcoming. This is due to the fact that this is a new location. Considering it is a department store and customers, or people in general, are slobs, this Kohl's does a decent job cleaning the selling floor. They also do a great job training the cashiers because they are friendly and quick. Kohl's in general have wonderful sales, especially during their "power hours" which typically run from Friday night through Saturday morning. If you have coupons, you will save more. Sometimes, I get a mailer coupon for $10 off any purchase and I love that there are no exclusions in redeeming the coupons. I might have my wedding registry through them. read more

I was there yesterday. The store in cluttered but clean. I found it a little odd that nobody was at the registers at about 1:30 pm. The line was getting long so they called to have someone come up. I was checked out quickly. I have gotten some really great deals there. My only complaint is they like to make you think you're getting huge discounts on some things but I think the original price is marked way up so they can give it to you on sale. I still enjoy shopping there. read more

I love the size of the parking lot here, I always find a good spot. This store is fairly large with many different departments, almost like a Walmart or Target. There are clothing departments for men, women, kids, and maternity. All sorts of accessories, shoes, jewelry, and bags can be purchased here as well. There are also departments for toys, home goods, electronics, and other. This store has consistently been clean and organized, yet I rarely find an associate on the sales floor. Also, the one time I needed something out of a locked case in electronics, it took forever to be acknowledged and assisted. I have also consistently found a wonderful variety of products that are creative and of good quality (such as playfully shaped mugs which I purchased for my children's teachers for Christmas). Although this store does constantly raise the prices of items so they can place them on sale, I don't see how it's fooling anyone and I actually find it funny. I don't shop here all the time but I've done my Christmas shopping here for the past 3 years. The Kohl's Cash is great and über addictive! read more

Came in here on a Friday night just to pick up a couple things, nothing major happened but I'm just writing to say the guy Fred who checked me out had me and my sister CRACKING UP such a social guy with an awesome sense of humor, so funny was telling us a bunch of stories had us laughing. I was looking at the perfume and I was spraying in the little piece of paper. And this employee comes up to me and yells at me for not spraying on the paper. She then walked away as I tried to say that I did spray it on the paper. But, this store is a really good, this experience just didn't set the mood for this store. read more
