What an awesome store. Seriously. I've always stuck my nose up with the brand and told myself I would never wear the Carhartt brand, and boy was I wrong. Over the summer one of the part time jobs I help out at required me to invest in a pair of Carhartt shorts and as comfortable as they were I decided to invest in some new work pants today. The store in general is well stocked with ever imaginable size available. I'm not a fan of dressing rooms but was happy they had a Covid plan of leave what you do not want behind. All staff were wearing their masks properly with sanitizers and masks available at the already opened door. Pants range to the 40-60 dollar range and you have your typical prices for your hoodies, shirts, socks, etc. I signed up for the rewards program only because I was halfway to a $100 gift card. Upscale location, I want to say Dollar Store service but I never got mad at dollar store employees. I spend probably $1,000 a year at this location for years clothing my family. Last two visits I had to put clothes on counter and walk out in anger. Service was so bad/rude Wasn't always this way? I hope they turn it around. Carhartt is a brand primarily made for heavy duty work, like construction, or outdoor wood work. In the recent years it has become quite trendy for anyone looking to keep warm in the winter months. Their beanies are very thick, warm and cozy, and so comfortable, they come in a large variety of colors. They are available from sizes for infants to adults. The Carhartt store in Evergreen Walk is the only one in Connecticut. I've gone here multiple times looking for gifts or for something for my self. The store is pretty small, it primarily carries men's items, they have a very small selection of kids or baby items, and an even smaller selection of items for women. The staff have always been super welcoming and friendly. They will order anything for you if a size or a color aren't available in store. The store also carries work boots, socks and belts. Even though the women's section is very small, their beanies, tee shirts and hoodies can be unisex, depending on the size of course. This is a great store, with wonderful and knowledgeable staff. We stopped in to buy Christmas gifts for our Carhartt fans. The store was very busy with shoppers being a few days before Christmas. We did not find what we were looking for but they have some really cute clothes for kids, collars & harnesses for pets, and a selection of shoes & work boots besides all of the heavy duty & cold weather apparel. read more

Probably my favorite Carhartt company store. I've been after the work khakis for a while and not many locations have them in stock. An associate knew right off if they had them and showed me the selection. When they didn't have the right size he ordered them for me online which means the shipping was free! Once I completed the reason I went there, I browsed around and nearly everything was on sale! I'm very happy that it was easy to get what I needed with the help of the associate and that I found some awesome deals too! read more

I absolutely love the South Windsor Carhartt Store. I just wish they carried more women's clothing. They usually have what I'm looking for in stock and if not they are so helpful at ordering it online and having it shipped to my home. My only complaint is I returned a jacket today and was told it would take 3-5 days for refund to go back on my original payment(gc/cc) as I wanted to make another purchase today but will have to go back to store when my return is put back on my gc/cc. read more

Me and my husband were at the shops yesterday looking to buy some new clothes. My husband was in need a a new winter jacket and some pants. We looked in two of the other stores that he thought he was going to love the clothes at, well, no such luck. Also at the other stores the sales help were not helpful, and actually one of the stores we had to ask that they turn the lights on in one section of the store because they had forgotten to. Needless to say, as soon as we walked into Carhartt we were greeeted and sled if we needed any help finding anything. The guys there were great and very helpful to my husband. The store was super clean, no clothes were out of order or messy, all around it was a great experience. read more

Been here twice the last 2 months. The staff were great i could ask a few different people questions here & there they were knowledgeable & could let me know the answers. Everyone is busy working so they don't stand around waiting to service you so you'll have to go up & ask them for help. I don't mind that though but some stores have people standing not doing anything & they don't bother to ask if you need anything when they're not doing much, but here employees were stocking & organizing. Everyone on a whim would drop their work too hello if u had question. Occasionally if i was best an employee looking long enough they'd ask if i needed anything had a question. So service wise just no problem it's 5 star all anyone could ask for retail store service. No one sounded or felt rude either they all put down their work & walk over to show you products & give you information & opinions if u ask & are really nice about it. Great carhartt store located at Evergreen Walk. Keep in mind these Carhartt company stores aren't the cheapest but the selection is very good. I have bought many things here. The service is nice and non-invasive and they have a water dish at the door for your dog. read more

Tons of selection, friendly and helpful staff. The Rain Defender line has been great for me. Nice parking area and plaza in general. It's a great spot to pick up Carhartt gear without waiting for it to ship. They also sell soap for whatever reason. read more

I love the product and selections available. I purchased 5 pairs of work pants and an equal amount of work tees. This is my 2nd round of similar purchases in a year, I wear these things out. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I was happy to see the forehead temp scanner at the register, the employees have to scan before their shift. Gloves and masks to boot, they show they care about their customers and staff. The one shortfall is their Loyalty program. I made a substantial purchase in the past and those loyalty points seemed to fall off of my record. They were substantial, so I am a bit bummed about this. I wrote the company and hope they do the right thing. Doesn't tarnish the store, staff, or product, just customer service from the corporate end. read more
