So, we made our first visit to the Outlet in Southington today. The differences between the two locations were striking. Southington is much larger and seemed to have a greater variety of products. It was more like a mini supermarket complete with produce, frozen goods, refrigerated goods, and a dairy case. Another difference is their 50% off room, where all sorts of non- foods items were half price. We used to pick up coffees, teas, frozen goods, and boxes of cereal at the Canton store. Just like Canton was, you have to check the pricing carefully because pricing is a real mixed bag. The Outlet is lower on some items and quite a bit higher on other items when compared to supermarket prices. We did find a few good buys- two squares of frozen jalapeno cornbread and two mini packages of frozen chocolate chip pancakes. How does $1.16 sound for all four? Yes, I thought you'd be as pleased with that as we were.

The space was spacious, loved the exposed pipes, bricks, and the historic feel. There were a few businesses that we visited on this occasion. The first one was Perkatory Coffee for some caffeine; then Rosie's Royal chocolate for some sweets; then The Lab for lunch; finally, Witchcraft Brewery for a beer. Service from these places were great. There were tables and seats in the hallway you can dine and relax at. Other businesses include, a bakery, a pet shop, CrossFit, escape room, arcade, etc. I think this is a great use of space and a fun spot to hang out at. I loved all the options there. The workers are awesome too, they'll stop and chat, give you some tips and ideas... they're always very reactive to lines at the register, and they really just have it together. The prices are same everywhere so I couldn't see that they were higher then any other store. But they always have what I want. The sales are great when they have them also. There are such large crevices that both wheels fall into them, and it stops the carriage dead. Will it raining, you can't even see how deep they are to try and avoid them. Ask me how I know this ? Because it just happened to me ! The carriage jammed into my gut so hard, but I believe I'll have a bruise in a couple of hours . It caused my back to twist, which has now caused tingling in both of my feet . As far as your managers go , every one of them are so unfriendly to your customers I don't know how you still have customers coming in .
