I went to the Centerville Utah store to return an Amazon purchase. The information for the return said that any Kohl's associate could handle. I didn't see any signage for returns so went to the checkout area which is where all of the associates were. While I was in line at the checkout, the people behind me were talking about how they didn't see how this location stayed in business because there were no shoppers. When I finally got to the front of the line which took about 10 minutes, I was told to take my return to the back of the store. Again, no signage about where to take returns. I went to the back and found an area for returns although no signage to indicate it was for returns. As I was standing in line again, a woman walked over to a register that appeared closed and stood there looking at me. She didn't say next or indicate that she was open for business. She then looked at me and said in a sarcastic tone, are you ready? I responded to her sarcastic tone with are you ready? It is evident why this store or Kohl's will be going out of business soon. They have gone the way of Kmart; terrible or nonexistent customer service. read more

I don't know what it is about Kohl's but I always forget it is there as an option, even though it essentially shares a parking lot with Target. The prices and stock just don't seem competitive in comparison to their neighbors, Super Target and Walmart. They do have cute kids clothes, but again, so does Target and Walmart. I also think this Kohl's always feels over crowded with merchandise, along with disheveled and messy. It's ok, but not someplace that I go out of my way to shop at. read more

I soo greatly appreciate the Excellent customer service by Emily!! What a sweetheart!! So helpful in every way possible! From app info to helping find or at least looking up specific trek gear pants and lady items and so on! Always had a smile and happy bubbly attitude and I can't express enough! Keep it UP!! And Lori the manager was extremely helpful with a phone tech issue helping making sure things went through properly, and her Helpful Happy Attitude was top notch as well! Kohl's has gone from good value merchandise to a shell of its former self. Inventory is sparse and nothing looks fresh. I'm done!

I have a major hang up with Kohls. I only came because someone gave me their Kohl's cash and my husband's birthday was the next day. So I thought, meh. Why not. I'll find him a pair of pants. I went. I parked. I took a deep breath and went into the store. What's my hang up? Literally the entire store. The fuster cluck mess, the layout, the slow checkout. Most of all, their fake sales, the astronomical markups paired with "incredible savings". It's such an insult to think all your customers are that gullible. Kohl's is the worst I've seen in the markup game. Even worse than Macy's (even though I have a suspicion they're the same company). It irritates me to the point I can't even enjoy just going to look at anything. I'm too busy laughing at their electronic price tags while trying to figure out how people fall for it the "reg. price vs. sale price". It makes me angry to hear people, my own Mom included, being taken advantage of. They say stuff like, "I found this shirt for $50 on sale! They said it was $180!" GASP!WOOOWEEE!! Or bed sheets that were $680, now "only" $200! Oh pppttthhhh. No. Not it wasn't. That shirt was never $180. It was NOT on sale, never was and it's STILL not worth $50...even though that's what everyone else is selling them for at REGULAR PRICE. Whatever. If you feel like you got a good deal, that's great. Good for them I guess. It's just a glorified TJ Maxx and Ross. I can't go there either because of the mess they all have in common. It's like people hear the words "sale" and "designer clothes" and go absolutely ape. They rip into everything like vultures on a black Friday carcass. I hate to break it to you folks, but literally everything ever made is from a designer...and it's not really on sale. It's FOR sale. The layout feels unnatural and unreasonable amounts of back and forth, like a maze. This is tucked in this corner and that is tucked in the front, but you missed it because it's now behind you as you walk in. The kid's stuff is around this wall, shoes around the other wall, on the other side of the store...behind another wall, in a nook. It just doesn't flow well at all. However, that's probably a genius way to get you to cover more ground and see more phenomenally priced merchandise. Checkout is slow. The end. read more

Kohl's has proved to me, time & time again; that's it's not a merchant worth shopping at. Be it, online, or in one of their brick & mortar stores. I shopped online @ Kohl's the day after Thanksgiving. A week after I placed my order I received an email stating that EVERY SINGLE item in my order was out of stock, & my order had been cancelled. Just what I needed during the most-stressful shopping time of the year. Then, a few weeks ago I enrolled in their newest rewards program. I was given a $10 credit for signing up. I made the purchase online. When my order showed up a pair of children's snow boots, that were supposed to be black, and we're even marked "black" on their box... Were actually brown. I called Kohls customer service. They told me that the boots were our of stock in the size & color I needed. Of course. I was given an "incident number" and told to return the boots to a store. I went to the Centerville store, & was given a ridiculous amount of grief about returning them! Even though I had an "incident number". It was awful. After my most-recent encounter all I can say is: "put a fork in me. I'm done". I earned Kohl's cash from the purchase where I had the incident with the boots. I used it to make another online purchase. Just call me glutton for punishment! When the order showed up, a pair of girls leggings weren't as described online. They were sheer tights, & not what I needed. And the pair of Converse tennis shoes I bought for my son said they were kid size 4 online. The packing slip said it too! But the shoes were tiny, obviously newborn size. Surprise, surprise; the shoes were no longer in stock online, or in stores. I took both items back to the Centerville store. Let the hassling commence! The gal working at "customer service" said that she'd only be able to give me a fraction of the price I paid, back to me. Even though I had my receipt! Because I'd used $10 in Kohl's cash to purchase it. Only, my order had been nearly $100, and even with returning two items the order was still in excess of $50 (the amount you need to get Kohl's cash). Taking away my kohl's cash made no sense! And even though I explained the math to the cashier- several times! She wouldn't budge. In the end, I lost-out on my $10. But Kohl's lost a customer. Never again will I make an online purchase, or venture in to one if their massively dirty & unorganized stores. read more

I LOVE this store other than the fact that they have lines for returns that they never call in order. (Insert face palm emoji) third time in a row I stand in the queue lineup where the GIANT stickers are on the floor and the associate helps people who just walk up past the queue and ignore us in the line. read more

Kohl's is fine. Don't love it. Don't hate it. This particular Kohl's was pretty well organized but was a little messy in some areas. A-OK.

I love this Kohls! The man greeting me, when I walked in was very genuinely nice to me! And even was very positive speaking to coworkers! This is the type of people stores should hire! People that want to be there, are happy, loving people! My experiences at two other Kohls, were not this positive! This is the location, i will know shop at! Even though, it is far from me! If you can avoid shopping at THIS Kohl's, I would! My experience here has been less than satisfactory, namely, with the customer service. After spending time rummaging through messy swimsuit racks, I finally found a top and bottom I liked. Upon checkout, I waited patiently while the cashier took her time small-talking EXCESSIVELY and moving at a snail's pace with the customer in front of me. Not only did the cashier see the line getting longer, but no effort was made to say, "I'll be with you in just a minute." She just kept blabbing continuously ignoring the rest of the customers that had queued up! In the end, once it was my turn, she rung me up and announced that I couldn't buy the swimsuit set I picked because one was from the maternity section. Um... Why was it placed in the regular section then? She then waved a manager over who proceeded to tell me that I can't mix and match maternity with regular wear. WTF? How was I supposed to know this, when the swimsuit bottoms were placed in the regular section and in addition, didn't ready anywhere on the label it was maternity wear. I absolutely love the clearance racks at this place! My husband and i are huge Denver Bronco fans. We had picked out some shirts on their web site but we were waiting for a sale since they were $69.99 ea., I found the exact shirts plus 2 others for $16.99 ea! I was so happy I got 4 shirts for about the price of one. Plus I found a new winter coat for 75% off! What an awesome shopping day for me! read more

We needed some help finding a shower curtain at this store. Not only was the young girl working in that dept. rude and unhelpful, but her appearance was totally unprofessional. My family will never shop at the Centerville, UT Kohl's again. The customer service my adult daughter received there 4/22/13 at approximately 930 PM was appalling to say the least. My daughter ordered $13 earrings on kohls.com but instead received an ugly necklace with a $32 price tag on it. She called kohls.com but the earrings weren't in stock so I advised her to go to the Centerville store with the necklace and receipt and see if they had the earrings or get a refund. She goes to their customer service desk and the "lady" that was working it that night accused her of scamming them because they don't carry that necklace in the Utah stores ... duh, she got it online! First this shows some lack of intelligence besides complete rudeness and lack of customer service. Why would anyone present a $32 Kohl's necklace with tag attached and want a $13 refund from their kohls.com receipt that lists earrings?! And why would anyone drive 10 miles to scam a store out of $13.00?! My daughter explains what happened and also asks for a coupon so she can repurchase other jewelry there and the "lady" replies "Really? I can't believe you're asking for that" and rolls her eyes so my daughter asks for a manager. This "lady" goes into a back room without a door within earshot of my daughter, gets on the phone, and calls for her manager saying, "I have a lady that is being a b*tch." Yes really! The lady comes out and then tells my daughter to grow up. The Manager (or Supervisor) comes over and my daughter tells her what her employee said and apparently the Manager doesn't believe her but then is equally rude and only refunds my daughter $11.08 instead of the full amount she paid with shipping stating she had used a coupon online. FYI: The $13.00 was AFTER the coupon and did not include her shipping cost! I hope this dumb of a Manager or whatever you call yourself reads this. My daughter explains what the total is and the Manager refuses to refund the full amount so my daughters asks for the charge to be put back on her credit card and return the necklace to her so she can bring it up with corporate and the Manager replies, "Too Late." The Manager didn't even want to give her back her original receipt, my daughter had to grab it off the counter quick to get it back. My daughter called 800 Customer Service today and they clearly saw her charge for the full $13 with shipping and refunded her the amount that Centerville refused to refund with many apologies and will be sending her a coupon code. They said they would contact the Centerville Customer Service Manager and I hope that they do and something is done about this terrible customer service. Who treats a customer like that?! This Customer Service Rep shouldn't be in customer service of any type and this Manager (Supervisor) should be demoted for allowing this. read more

Kohl's has great merchandise at pretty reasonable prices, but their return policy is pretty ridiculous. I registered at Kohl's for my Wedding. When I registered the workers, were not very nice. They acted almost annoyed that they were going to have to figure out how to do a registry. They never thanked us. They also didn't tell us about their return policy which is if you don't have a gift receipt, which most people will forget to give you, they give you the lowest price the item has been in the last 30 days. But that's not all, they also subtract more off the price if there has been an coupons out in the 30 days, including Kohl's cash. After all that is taken off you end up getting not very much money at all for what you are returning. A lot of times it is almost half of the price it really is. When you try to talk to the workers about it they are not helpful at all or nice. It is pretty clear that customer service is not their priority. So if you are looking to register at Kohl's I would advise you not to. You will lose money and be very disappointed. read more

There's nothing less than one star so I guess they earn that. I've now been to Kohl's on three separate occasions with my fiancé to register for our wedding. The first two times none of their computers, printers, or kiosks worked to let us log in and begin to register. Not an employee in the building with a clue on how to help or fix the problem. So they call tech support while we sat there for 30 minutes only to find out there's nothing anyone can do. The third time I've now gone there to waste my time, their broken items work and they hand us a registry gun. Like any other young couple in love we happily frolic through the store finding all the items on our wish list thinking our issues are over. Hand them back the gun and say... "Now what? Do you have to sync this with the computer or upload it or something?" Response; "No, just check the website in 24-48 hours and it'll all be there. 5 DAYS LATER... Our registry finally shows up online completely empty and blank. Thank you Kohl's for being epically awful. I'm hoping and praying your other store locations aren't as awful as you are. I wouldn't even register with your store if it wasn't already printed all over my invitations. Thanks for nothing. read more

FYI - if you choose to do a wedding registry here, there are some very important things they do not tell you when you sign up. If your guests, who are nice enough to purchase off the gift registry do not include a gift receipt, it's a huge rip off. My daughter needed to exchange some gifts after receiving multiple duplicate items off of her gift registry. Without a gift receipt, Kohl's will only give you an in-store credit for the lowest price that item could have been within the last month, and they also factor in any possibility that it was purchased with any coupons and/or Kohl's cash. In other words, when she tried to return a grill that was worth $35 in exchange for something else on her registry, they gave her an in-store credit of $10. Talk about taking advantage of their customers! I can't think of any benefit to having a gift registry here. Bed, Bath & Beyond is fantastic to work with. Very poor customer service at Kohl's. read more
