Not my favorite place to shop or my favorite Kohl's but since we lost Bed Bath & Beyond I find myself buying home goods and gifts here fairly regularly. The brands and selection are what you'd expect from a Kohl's and this location has a few perks like the ability to return your Amazon orders in store. The thing I hate about it is that the layout is confusing with departments split over two floors and no clear signage about what's where. Just put a sign at the entrance telling me what's on each floor! Also, I consistently come in one door and leave by the wrong one. But that's on me. read more

This is the closest location for me. That being said unless I'm doing online order for in store pickup I will drive out of my way to go to the Milford location. This is a smaller store, dont let the 2 floors deceive you. I find there to be much less selection here comparatively. My constant irritation here is the checkout or order pickup. Every single time I come there is one person working customer service no matter what day or time (where you have to pickup). NOW that they are taking Amazon returns this has gotten SO. MUCH. WORSE. The line in the middle of a weekday afternoon was ridiculous. There is no separate line for Amazon FYI. Be prepared to wait. read more

To be fair I'm not a huge fan of Kohl's to begin with..I never seem to find anything there I'm satisfied with and end up walking out empty handed more times than not. Now, I know people who swear by this store and know how to utilize all the coupons and offers and end up getting some great stuff for some great deals..but that's just not me. Anywho, this location is not one of the better ones in my opinion. You can tell that it's been around for a long time..I've heard it's been remodeled in the past couple of years but it still just seems dated. Also, it always feels like it's overstuffed with product. It's as if they stock it as a store that is a bit bigger. It's a two story store, but it's attached to a one story mall, so the second floor doesn't really have any exits except for the stairs or the elevator. I know that's a strange thing to complain about but sometimes being on the second floor with the overstocked shelves and no immediate exit..my claustrophobia kicks and I just have to get out of there. I'll still stop by this place if there's something I'm looking for that the stores in the mall don't have..but like I said more often than not they don't have it either. Oh well. read more

This review is regarding customer service at the Eastgate Kohl's. I was at Kohl's today to return items. At all times I was calm and respectful. It was a more complicated return and at first the customer service associate refused to help me. She said the items couldn't be returned. I continued a discussion with her and she eventually called another associate for assistance who did the return for me. The customer service associate behind the desk was extremely rude, not helpful and very unfriendly. The second associate who came to help acted like she was doing me a favor and was also very rude. It seems that customer service associates these days do not want to help you if it involves any type of extra work on their part to correct the issue and help you to get a resolution. I do want to add that I frequently shop at Kohl's and I don't frequently return items, but when I need to return an item I expect to be treated with respect. read more

I haven't done much shopping at this Kohl's location. One of the things I like about it is that it is one of the older locations. Older stores have a tendency to be on the larger side. That equals more merchandise. I usually pop in to complete Amazon returns. That 25% off coupon that prints with the return receipt has compelled me more than once to browse around the store. Even with all of the browsing, and a pretty hefty coupon, the coupon has only enticed me to make a purchase once. Unless hitting a particularly good sale, prices are on the high side. Their clearance prices are not as good as other Kohl's locations. I have been fairly lucky when it comes to return lines. I usually walk right up, or are next in line. Though now that I type it, my luck will probably run out, and I will end up waiting in long lines. On my last visit, they had created a separate area for Amazon returns. As the Eastgate mall is not as popular as it once was, there is always a ton of parking. read more

They just remodeled the store. Takes time getting used to. Customer service center is now on the first floor by the mall entrance. Kohls regularly has sales. Prices constantly yoyo. They regularly have coupon sales from 15%-30% off of regular or sales prices. You can get good prices. Never pay full price there! Wait for a sale. They have great Customer service and will take things back for any reason with a receipt even years later. Without a receipt you can get store credit. They also have Sales where you get $10 coupons for future purchases for every $50 you spend. Over Christmas it was $15 coupon. They only annoying thing is that they subtract the coupons before giving you a percentage off. Also they used to give store credit when returning items that you used coupons. They won't do that anymore. For example if you bought a $50 item and get a $10 future purchase coupon, you could return the item and get a $50 credit. Now they will only give you $40 back. I hate the buy 1 get 1 50% off sales. Just give me 25% off each one. You can always buy 2 and return 1 to get that price. read more

Lots of sale items, at a decent price, found one shirt I was interested in, took it to the register and the very kind cashier asked if I had a coupon and I told her no, and she was nice enough to scan the code they had at the register to get me an extra 1.50 off the sale price read more

I always receive quick service at this location. They carry a wide variety of items, and the store is usually pretty organized.

Always a mess and poorly organized. Customer service is horrible. The sales associates are so rude and unwilling to help. Nancy was the rudest to me at the front counter. She got angry with me when I opened my packages I had ordered online to make sure they were correct. She also was the only associate out of 3 at the front who did not wipe down the counter in between customers. I watched her as my husband and I waited in line. One last thing, nobody seems fully trained at that counter when processing online orders. They always have to look for help, which delays customer's time. read more

Most unorganized department store I've ever been in, no sales staff anywhere to be found who can assist you, NO registers upstairs, THREE downstairs for the whole store. When I interrupted the jewelry lady's personal conversation with another employee to ask if there were more, she pointed at the three that all had long lines and didn't offer to check out my 2 small items. I then dropped them off at her counter, not worth the wait. The gift card that brought me into that mess of a store in the first place will now be used online, and hopefully I won't get any more. read more

Eastgate Mall is a dump as it is and this place does it no favors. Tweens are particularly difficult to dress, with stores cutting off sizes for kids by 4th or 5th grade, leaving them nothing to wear but clothes that are meant for teens but might fit them too. Kohls is among a few stores that has started offering half or "plus" sizes so I started looking there on line for that reason only. But when the clothes don't work, Kohls on line apparently has not figured out how to deal with a simple exchange. So on line shoppers who were too busy to go the store initially are now forced to go into the store in an annoyed state because this huge company doesn't have their stuff together. And the brick and mortar experience is even worse. If you ever want to be in a bad mood for some reason, just go to Kohls. Their genius management team has decided that shoppers enjoy feeling like they are in a third world country, wandering around pointlessly looking for someone who might actually work there. The joke is on the customer because apparently registers only work downstairs. So you can walk in circles upstairs all you want trying to balance your crying child and the clothes you are trying to hold onto but no register will appear and no one will help you...until some seasoned Kohls shopper recognizes your lost/desperate/irate look and puts you out of your misery. If you are unfortunate enough to need to return something, you will be pointed to a night before xmas-legnth line. Only one area handles returns and anything but precisely even exchanges. I hardly review non-restaurant type places, but I wanted to write about Kohl's. I have only been here once and that was because I was going for something specific. Kohl's is huge and has a pretty good selection. I went during a Deal weekend, which might be partially biasing my opinion I will admit. The lines were crazy long and the store was a mess. However, I am not giving a three star rating because I have been to other Kohl's during Deal weekends and they can be neater than this store was. Also, it was difficult to find a staff person to help you. The selection is good, but be prepared for it to be hectic during a sale weekend. Maybe during a non-sale weekend, it could be better. However, just based on my one experience I probably will not be going back and will wait to go to a Kohl's where I have had a better experience. They do have coupons though and sales that are pretty good, so you can get some good Christmas shopping done. It is part of a mall so the parking can be busy, but at least it's a free parking lot. read more
