It was pretty well organized though, with an employee at the door slowly letting customers in. Inside it was a bit crazy, but there was a patient line of customers waiting for the fitting room and a similar line to check out. The young ladies working there worked as quickly as they could and maintained a very pleasant attitude. I had shopped here before before the sale, and always have received very good customer service.

The first that made this a must visit is that it is another black owned business in Cincinnati. We walked in and we were warmly greeted by all of the staff! Since the opening was just the week prior they were still unloading products but none the less they were ready to service us. I received a regular pedicure and my cousin received the jelly pedicure. The ambiance was cute, feminine and classy. The decor was super cute as well! In addition, they have a full service bar/lounge. And the music was a nice mix of current hits and throwbacks. The only things I could say that need improvement is having a service list posted or on hand that the techs can give to customers. If i has known there was a jelly pedicure option I would have gotten it. In addition, during my pedicure the water started to get cold just because they don't have bowls that have massage jets to keep the water circulating. Other than that no complaints! The techs are all nice and they take their time unlike other nail salons where they rush you out. I will be returning for sure!

I went on the recommendation of a co-worker looking for a specific item. What I found was a lovely store with beautiful things, right now it's mostly Christmas but they have a bridal registry, clothing, home decor and tabletop. Staff is friendly and helpful even in the crush of Christmas shopping. I'm looking forward to shopping there again in the non-Christmas season to see their regular offerings.

Both my sister and I bought the same jacket for a great price. I saw online that they had my size in-store and went to check it out. What I received from the sales person, Marilyn, was a classic sales push to sign up for the credit card. She didn't hear me when I said, I'm just looking and feeling close to my daughter. She clipped the shirt I was holding out of my hand and started a dressing room. Then by the time I went to the dressing room it was full of clothing picked out for me (which would have been nice if I had asked for it. Or wanted it.) but most of Marylin's questions were all about the credit card that she wanted me to "load it up" to get points. It was thoroughly icky feeling. I had a pair of the Venice joggers in my hand as I did like the fabric and they were comfortable. But Marylin kept pushing the credit card and when I finally told her firmly that I already have a credit card that I like to use for points she dropped me like a hot potato at the register, which no one was even standing at. I was like, um...I'm ready to buy these pants I didn't come in for when I realized, now's the chance--get out! So I didn't buy anything and I felt totally happy to leave. The exact opposite of how I felt when my feet had first entered. Sad day for sales. And really hope not everyone gets begged to sign up for a credit card.

I have 11 cartridge piercings all of which were done at a tattoo shop. On my 18th birthday a few…read moremonths back I decided I wanted to get another piercing but at Rowan! Licensed nurses doing the piercings and a very aesthetically pleasing environment defiantly drew me in. I got my right side tragus piercing which just a basic charm. When we went to leave it was $130 for this piercing. $130 for one piercing with a basic piece of jewelry is insane pricing. Anyways, the swelling and tenderness of the piercing was normal and I was using the cleaning spray they recommended at checkout which was $20! On day two and three started to notice a lump beneath my ear, soon to find out this grape size lump was my lymph node and my piercing was extremely infected. From my 11 other cartilage piercings and having my thirds on my ear lobes I have never experienced something like this. I made an appt at my Dr office just to be sent to urgent care because there was a cyst inside where the tragus sat. I had to get the cyst trained and was on antibiotics for just over a week from this infection that come to find out after sending a swab to the lab... it was MRSA! I would not recommend Rowan, from the pricing to the multiple people from across other Rowan locations that have had the same outcome as me. Find a good tattoo shop, and stick with the same piercer. Also, I did call and was told I signed a waiver and all they could do was take the piercing out for me. I was so sad but not surprised.

Originally we had an amazing experience getting my daughter's ears pierced for the first time…read more Everyone was incredibly kind and my daughter did wonderful. After 7 or so weeks I decided to take her back to pick out new earrings. I had previously consulted with someone online as I was having a difficult time getting the back off of the earring. As I was in the middle of a sentence talking to an employee about this she put a pair of gloves on , walked over to my daughter who was looking at earrings across the store and yanked out of of her earrings. My daughter who had no idea this was going to happen was obviously upset. I tried to calm her down but she was struggling and I really wanted to put an earring back in her ear before it closed but she was scared and incredibly upset as she said her ear was hurting bad and she was afraid it was going to hurt. As I was talking to my daughter trying to calm her down the employee told my daughter she "doesn't have a lot of patience so she needed to sit down". I ended up paying for one of the three sets of earrings putting the other ones back and walking out into the mall, calming her down and putting in the original earring back in her ear. Very disappointed with the way that was handled on her part. We will not be returning
