I have waited a bit to write the review, because I wanted to make sure the customer service here wasn't just a one time thing. I can't say enough about how well I have been treated here, Chris has been amazing to say the least. I originally came here a few years ago and just looked around, but I wasn't looking to really change the way I looked. I came here about a year ago for a Yelp event and couldn't believe how well the treated us and gave us the grand tour. I knew when I needed to make a lifestyle change this is where I was coming. We have all purchased off the rack clothes that feel well okay. I have several items in my closet that way. I just got my first ever custom blazer, a nice pair of dress pants, a good pair of jeans for classy casual, some amazingly comfortable shoes, and nice shirt and some pocket squares. I don't think I have ever felt so good in an outfit in my life. Sure it will cost a bit more than going to a big box store, but I will say this I feel like a million dollars in my new clothes. I can't say that ever in anything off the rack that hangs in my closet and is never worn. Why buy something you don't feel good in just to hang in your closet. I own 3 blazers that will be going to goodwill soon and maybe even a suit. I will be back here to buy more clothes. I can't wait to walk back in knowing Chris will be there to make sure I look good and to know that what I buy will not be a fad and out of fashion in a year or less. I will say this is money well spent, that I will not be giving to goodwill ever. So when you need a good outfit for work or just to feel better about being a better dressed person, come in and see Chris or anyone else for that matter. I came knowing very little about suits. Since this appears to be a high end place I figured I could trust them to set me up with something great. I got a Maxman Trend. Got some great compliments the first time I wore it. I took it to get cleaned, and I notice its separating on the front left side. WTF? It's garbage - I'll have to throw it out. I don't think I can walk into this store again and feel like I actually trust anyone. read more

Romualdo is situated on a nice but busy street in Madeira. The store is clean, very organized, and smells so nice! The staff is very kind and personable. I brought in a two-piece full body swimsuit to be altered a little shorter as I'm not so tall. It was done with high quality and great care! I was very impressed. It fit me perfect after! In regards to returning, it's possible but unsure. It's really expensive to have any tailoring done here. I paid $90 for the suit, and paid about $140 just to get it shortened a bit. So be prepared to spend a pretty penny! read more

First time customer- I requested a 3 day turn around and this is the only business of 5 that I contacted to accept me. Upon pickup the owner insisted I try on for him to view- he continued working on my fit until it was perfect, free of additional charge. What a gentleman! read more

This is the epitome of a haberdashery. You can purchase watches, cologne, dress shoes from England, or handmade suits, sport coats, and dress shirts. When I wear my suits that have either been purchased from, or tailored by Romauldo's, people literally STOP ME IN THE STREET. It's happened 3 times now. And I've only been working with them for about a month. I started my new job and wanted to get off on the right foot. I have these guys convinced I'm the best dressed person alive and now they're asking my advice on fashion... This isn't Ed's Bargin Basement or Men's Warehouse... When you go to a tailor that people travel from California to use, you're going to pay more. But keep this in mind: In most cases you can't undo bad tailoring. It's a shame some people care more about how much something costs then how it looks and makes them feel. You don't buy a Lamborghini then complain about how expensive the oil change is. You can easily see that they're on the pricier side just by looking at the $ signs in google. From the window, a passer-by might take note of the exceptionally preppy clothing. What sets Romaualdo's apart is the custom tailoring services they offer. I recently stopped by to get fitted for a formal tuxedo shirt. After entering, I was pleasantly escorted to the fitting room where I was offered soda and water. As I sat in a comfortable leather couch, the salesperson asked me a series of questions in order to determine my exact needs. After a few minutes of measurements, my order was complete and I was out the door. Typically, they operate on a 4 week turnaround for custom work. While the price was definitely beyond what you might see off-the-rack, the quality and perfect fit more than justify the cost. read more

I usually don't give reviews for many places, but Romualdo's deserves this one. I have used them on multiple occasions for tailoring. Ladies... is there anything worse then a bridesmaid dress? I don't know how they do it but they always seem to make me look fabulous even in the worst dress. They are miracle workers. I learned about Romualdo's about 5 years ago because my husband will only buy their suits. His devotion has rubbed off on me. We also used them for our wedding last year and couldn't have been happier. The men looked absolutely dashing. I highly recommend them to any and everyone. I bought my husband a sweater yesterday for Valentines day and I actually want one for myself, I'm a sucker for nice cashmere :) read more

My husband had a plaid sport coat and a suit made at Romualdo 3-4 years ago. Flash forward--he has lost a large amount of weight and both coats no longer fit. He loved these items, and they were made of high quality wool. We recently returned to have them altered (I had my doubts!)- but they were confident it could be done. He picked up the sport coat-plaid jacket- on 11/2 (3 weeks after leaving). Not only does it fit perfectly and look like new, and all the plaid matches, and the fees were reasonable for the amount of work. Highly recommend this store and services. The black suit coat is still being altered, and a new pair of black suit pants is being made. I'm sure we will be happy with these too. read more

This place is my go-to. Having a very athletic build, my dress clothes always need extremely heavy alterations. Romualdo's always finds a way to make every piece fit perfectly. They have a wide selection of textile samples to make the best custom blazer - the options are truly endless. The staff really knows their stuff, too. They are educated in how to fit all body types and take the time to get it right and educate you along the way. The best gentlemen's clothing shop in Cincinnati. Trevor and Romualdo make a great team and are tops when it comes to customer service. All the top brands (Paul Shark, Bills Khahki's) one would expect and great custom tailored suit options. Hands-down the best place for formal rentals as well. There is nothing wrong with the place and service. The staffs are really nice and friendly. But they are just way too overpriced. I took my jacket and pants there for alterations and they charged me $139-just for lengthening the sleeves($89) and tapering the pants($50). To taper the sleeves they quoted $55 . They did good job though. So please keep in mind that they are going to charge you extra. read more

I went to Romualdo's for my wedding tuxes and they turned out great - I told Tim exactly what I wanted and he made it happen. Everything was really tailored - no sack suit look like most grooms and groomsmen have. Went back a few months later after getting a new job and ordered 2 custom suits which turned out perfectly.
