I usually do enjoy my visits to Kohl's but today was not the day. I usually do my Amazon returns here cause I have more time during the day to run my returns there if I can't get there right after work or it's super busy, however today was a total shocker as I strolling to see what I might want to get with my coupon I heard an associate tell another person that the Amazon return closes at 7 even though the store is open until 9 which again was so great and why I always chose there. I am also not sure if hours are just up to the store discretion but either way it's a bummer and sad To see they don't want people coming into their store that could potentially spend money esp while The holidays are close. read more

I needed flip flops. There wasn't much but I did find Reefs on sale for $20... score! This store has a ton of cool Adidas Allstars. I had to get out of there or I was certain to pick up a pair. But right across the walkway was their home goods stuff like the nutribullet pro... on sale, I got it. At check out I was helped by an amazing young lady named Diana. Super helpful. Long story short I got Kohl's Bucks for $10 off and a discount for having my phone number registered and I think my total price was reduced by $20!!! It was like getting the flip flops for free! Happy customer here. Oh and while I was carrying my stuff to the register another young lady smiled at me and I had to say hello. She asked me if I was looking for the Amazon return kiosk. It was just Nick to go into a retail store where the employees take ownership of the customer experience. I felt wanted and happy to spend my hard earned cash here. My new jam! read more

I encountered a little price issue when checking out but Hannah and Scott were fantastic in resolving my concern. Kohl's is my 'go to' for gifts for my husband and boys. I really hate cluttered stores and this one is nice and organized on a busy Saturday. read more

No customer service. No one was in any department to help us with a question. Dressing rooms were marginal. They were not clean and had not been organized in a while since there were clothes all over. Definitely could use some improvements. read more

As department stores go, I'd be hard pressed to find a more middle-of-the road chain that I felt more ambiguous about than Kohl's. Because of its location, I just rarely find myself there. It's decent for women's clothing, not so much for men's clothing, okay for shoes, okay for housewares, and it looks to be an okay stop for toys and such, but I've never really been into those corners. Nice enough, new enough, lots of parking, and lots of other places to shop in the area. I mean, LOTS of other places to shop in the area there along 123rd. Pop in, you will find a department store. This Kohl's store is awful! The store is COMPLETELY, TOTALLY disorganized and cluttered. Asiles are packed with overflowing racks of clothing. Clothes are disorganized, out of order, pilled here and there and everywhere. The employees don't seem to care about keeping the store up and maintaining appearances. I saw employees walking past asiles that looked like a tornado had blown through it and not do a thing about it. Maybe the people who work here are overworked, maybe the store is short staffed, maybe the managers don't care... I don't know. Whatever the explanation, I didn't like shopping at this location and I won't be going back until this store cleans up their act. read more

I've been to this Kohl's twice and had a good experience each time. The first time, a very helpful employee helped me quickly locate several baby outfits that I needed for an exchange. The second time was the other day when I went in for an in-store pickup. It was the Monday after Thanksgiving, so the store was probably a little busier than normal. There were about 7 people in line at the customer service desk, so I sighed and got in line, expecting to be there for at least 20 minutes. The employees started calling up more helpers to assist with the online pickups so that I only ended up being in line for about 3 minutes. I loved their hustle! read more

I understand that collecting phone numbers is important for employees because most business get mad at them for not getting them in their system ...but today we went to check out and I tried putting my number in the system twice and it didn't go through. And so the cashier asked the usual question if I want to re sign up for the free rewards and I said oh it's ok I don't want to and then the cashier pushed and told about the perks (which is great I already knew) .so then I kindly declined again but they kept talking and got louder and would wouldn't let me speak. I said no nicely 3 times and they continued to talk over me . they wouldn't finish the transaction until my husband spoke up and asked for us to be cashed out and that I had said no 3 times. I really hate writing bad reviews but this encounter made me feel really uncomfortable because they wouldn't accept my no for an answer and wouldn't let me speak . Please have your managers talk to your employees and tell them that it's ok to take no for an answer I don't want to be hounded to the point of feeling guilty for not reregistering my phone number when I already did it twice. I know it's probably not that big of a deal but the way this cashier treated me is not ok. read more

My initial thought when I hear 'Kohl's" is...too much moola for me. I like deals, what can I say! And I feel that Kohl's tends towards pricey when compared to...well...compared to the places I usually shop, being a tight wad and all. Well, this Kohls became my best friend last week and I learned a few things that increased their s.p. (that's star potential). The first favorite thing had nothing to do with them. I had a huge gift card from my awesome sister and brother-in-law, so hey, free money! 2ndly, apparently I hit a great sale. It was from Fri night to Sat AM and it was huge. They may be pricey but they also aren't afraid to mark things down 60-70% in a sale, which puts them right into my good deal range. 3rdly, Kohl's cash. I had no idea. You spend money, you get money. And almost everyone in line had some kind of coupon or free something or another from a mailer. They are very generous with their customer rewards and REALLY want you to come back and spend more money. Only one bad thing, and again, it had nothing to do with them. I did feel PREtty guilty buying myself a bunch of new clothes right before Christmas. But hey - there's all those parties and I just gotta look cute, right? I mean, it's totally critical to impress 2nd cousins and aunts-in-law. So...it seems like Kohl's is only pricey to those not in the KNOW. If you pay attention, you can save some big bucks. And they do have lots of stuff. Pretty much one of everything. I still have some money left on the gift card so you know I'll be back Kohl's! I'll just wait for a bunch of deals and hot sales and then strike while the iron is hot. SZZZZZ. read more

I went here a few months ago and the service was unprofessional and horrible. I found some shirts that were on the 80% off rack and the discount didn't ring up. Another gentlemen was in front of me with a pair of nice shoes that didn't ring up the great discount. The store clerk didn't know what to do and so she just gave us the discount. This female manager that was there this particular night intervened had declined the discounts. She claimed that those were outrageous discounts for both our items and that it was a mistake. I explained to her where I found them and she just kept wanting to argue and not admit that she was wrong. Well then how about you pick up the damn place so merchandise is not confused with the discounts?!! That manager is unfit for the position and she needs to be replaced before this location goes under if they don't get it together! read more

The most rude, unorganized & unclean store. I was there in the evening waiting in line behind another customer, they weren't busy, after she finished ringing out the customer she just left told the other lady she was going home. Didn't say anything to me before hand or acknowledge I was even there. The other lady said she would take me, I ended up just leaving. When I contacted the store all they said was they were sorry. Also, I understand people don't put things back, but you'd think after weeks of things being miss placed they'd put it back where it goes? No this store just leaves it for weeks where it doesn't even belong. People leave trash lay around the store and no employee even cleans it up. For two weeks the same empty soda bottle was in the kitchen section. I've stopped going to this store. They are so rude and dirty. read more

This place is a disaster as far as Kohls go. Clothing on the floor, nothing presented well, sizes all mixed up and signs that are wrong. I really like Kohls stores, but this was a mess . I asked for a gift box for a shirt at check out and the girl looked at me like she has never heard of a gift box before. I guess they don't think people buy gifts at Christmas time. Great sales. Messy store--I couldn't push a cart most places because there was merchandise all over the floor. No one near the dressing rooms to help get different sizes, etc. The first dressing room I went in had clothes from a previous customer. Zero employees around to help or clean. The cashier talked me into opening a credit card because I got 30% off everything (I bought many Christmas gifts) and SHE PROMISED I COULD PAY OFF THE CREDIT CARD WITH MY AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD IMMEDIATELY SO I COULD GET DELTA MILES. Nope. You can only pay off their credit card balance with cash, check or debit card. read more

In the past I have loved shopping at Kohls. Their sale prices are wonderful and can be combined with coupons. I have a large family and tend to spend $500 to $1000 on a shopping trip, especially near the holidays. However, I will not be returning to Kohls. They have the worst return policy. I had a receipt for jeans purchased at Christmas. I thought this was the actual receipt, but was in fact a duplicate receipt for a rebate. The jeans were roughly $40 as showed on the receipt with the bar code. When I went back the jeans were on clearance for $8. Despite having the duplicate receipt, Kohls would only give me $8 and would not work with me at all. This is just one example. Something has happened nearly every time I have tried to return. Horrible, horrible experience. I've never been jerked around like this anywhere. Spent an hour getting the run around and all I wanted to do was an exchange. There was only one manager who was kind and tried to help, the rest of the staff was awfully rude. One actually yelled at the cashier that was trying to help - right in front of me! The other one finally solved my problem, but acted like she's done me a giant favor, even though it cost the store NOTHING and I was actually spending more $ on the items exchanged. It was nuts. Kohls is one of those places that prices their clothes high so they can mark them down 40% off so people think they are getting a good deal. Yet I fall for it all the time. I've found some nice stuff here in the past, and sometimes if you dig through the clearance racks you can find a good bargain. Plus they give out a lot of $10 off coupons. So I'll recommend it, but just remember just because it's on sale doesn't mean it's a good price! read more

I have a love hate relationship with Kohls. You have to learn to play their games and sales and get their credit card. You have to shop on Friday night or Saturday morning during 30% off and power hours. I like the girls selection of capris/berumda shorts. They "retail" $36, on Thursday you will pay $18 but on Friday night you will pay under $8. Once you get to know the clearance rules, sales, kohls cash there are decent prices. Comparing prices you will always do well with shoes/sneakers, and basics. I have noticed the quality of items like mens shorts and tops have gone way down this year on the Kohls preferred store brands like Sonoma and urban pipeline. The check out line can be long here. Sometimes Friday night sale nights look like a mini black Friday. The return policy is great but the wait can be very long. I do appreciate the return policy, no time limits and usually no questions. The store does need to keep better inventory. Popular items like camis, capris, and basics get sold out fast on sale nights and the store gets messy fast. This is my go to store for some items. I like to browse the clearance a few times a year when it hits 80%+. I wish the store had more employees, both cashiers and stock people. I dislike the games they play with prices but that is more corporate then local. I gave in and got a store credit card which has been very useful but I make sure and pay it off the same day in store. The in store staff can only take payments. It is frustrating that they can't tell you if you have a balance or how much you owe. You are directed to a phone to call and 800# and then wait in line again so always bring your statement or know what you owe. read more

Yep, they sucked me back in and of course their procedures are still the same. Ugh. Limited sizes and styles and yes (if you read my previous Kohl's review) for the life of me I don't understand why they would have such a bad user experience kiosk machines in their stores. I get it - kiosks are a great idea IF they actually work and provide a positive user experience rather than a frustrated time-consuming one. I don't know what can be said other than start over. The whole thing. From the touch screen pads to the UI. Oh and more than one cashier on a Friday night would be helpful. read more

I love that they have so many pants with comfort waist band. They don't have lots of clothes for clubbing and they forgot to take the electric tag off a few of my clothes requiring me to return to get them off. But they have affordable comfortable clothing. read more
