But I'm not here to review purchased items, I'm here to review the company's Port Washington store. Located on the southern end of the downtown strip, this store has a "woodsey" feel. There is much more product in the store than I initially anticipated and one could spend a fair amount of time browsing everything from womens and mens apparel to dog accessories to cook books to candies. There are many unique items that make fun gifts for relatives and friends; I often come here to find something for that hard-to-shop-for person. I have been in this store many times and it is always clean and well organized. The associates are friendly. However, a strange phenomenon occurs in this space. Time does not seem to exist. Not for the customers, not for the employees, just not at all. Ever. Don't get me wrong, the calm atmosphere is relaxing and I dont enjoy the hustle and bustle ever. It's often a neccessary evil. However, it should not take 40 minutes to make a simple exchange with 2 cashiers and a customer at each register. When an older lady tried to cut in front of me in line, after I waited all that time, I nearly lost my cool. The snail's pace is my only issue about this store. I do reccomend checking it out if you are in the area, and definitely for a unique gift item. Just know that it isn't a store you can just run in and run out.

We chose Men's Wearhouse because my brother did his wedding tuxes there 4 years ago and looked amazing. About six weeks before the wedding, we came in to pick out styles and register our bridal party. We received excellent customer service from the employee who helped us pick out styles. We chose a black checked vest and accouturements for the bridal party and family members. No matchy, matchy business here. My husband wore a matching ivory checked vest with an ivory shirt. It took us about an hour or so to register our party with their various needs (full tuxes or parts of tuxes). Two days before the wedding, the bridal party men and other family members picked up their tuxes. They only had one alteration to do, but it was manageable in the timeframe. For the wedding, the guys looked fantastic! Working with Men's Warehouse especially the Mequon location was great. We had no big problems or drama arise in the process. They were also understanding when my husband's bowtie was returned without the tux. They said it's a common occurence. All in all, Mequon's Men's Warehouse is a great location with a friendly, helpful staff and a wide selection of tux choices.

Perhaps management can get creative about making it safer for customers. Even though the store is no longer what I would refer to as "new," it was still very bright and clean. Yes, some of the displays were a bit TJ Maxxish in their clutter and organization, but that was the exception, not the rule. We found some great gifts at decent prices, and loved that there was a rare combo to end the transaction: No line and a friendly cashier; when's the last time those two things came together in a single transaction? At this store, the 38" pants are actually in the 38" section! So are the 40" waist pants! Imagine that, you almost never see that. I scored some really nice button-down sports shirts for summer here for less than $20 each. Totally what I was looking for at a great price! dress-pants or suit separate pants can usually be found in the $30-40 range. Just be careful that there are also "non-clearance" items on offer. You may think you are getting a great deal, but a pair of boring khaki shorts should never cost over $40 "on-clearance".
