So, this Macy's doesn't have as big of a selection compared to the locations at Easton and Polaris. However, what I really appreciate is that at least all the strong smelling perfumes are kept locked in a case and the employees don't spray them out in the open. Helpful for people like myself who have respiratory problems and are just trying to pass through. read more

A friend told me they had a big clearance section at this Macy's. Not sure if it is at all of them; Tuttle is in a downward spiral, and this might be an attempt to attenuate that. In back of the kid's section, there is a large area, Backstage, with clearance items of all kinds. I got K some clothes, Sweetie some dog-walking supplies, and looked at a few things for me. Not quite what I wanted, or cheap enough, but I'll keep this in mind. Loads of kids' clothes, and some for other ages, plus shoes, household goods, toys, and more. Definitely worth checking out. The rest of the store is, well, expensive and fancy. Service was great. Parking is easy. read more

I had not been into a Macy's in a long time. It seems not much has changed. This store almost gives me an 80s time warp feeling. They still have the cosmetics counter ladies, the slow escalators, and the "soft rock" music piped in throughout. I will say the store was very clean and well stocked. In particular, the womens shoes and the housewares departments were a nice surprise. Great variety of brands. The customer service in the shoe dept was non-existent. They really need to just move to a self service model (see DSW). Overall though, a pleasant shopping experience. The Tuttle mall on the other hand....yikes. read more

This is my OG Macy's in the City. I have been coming here since I moved to Columbus and the mall and surrounding area was full of shops. To this day, I always find items here that are not at Polaris or Easton. I think it is because the store possibly has less traffic being in Tuttle Mall/Tuttle Crossing but I love it and I like to visit when Macy's have their big sales. When in the area, I cannot resist stopping in and will drive out from downtown just to go here. This visit, I even found a new jacket I have been looking for. I had not seen this option at other locations (but was on the app). It was here and it was on sale! Big Win and YAY! The mall itself is still worth a walk through but is nothing like it was 15-20 years ago. It is good to see that this Macy's is still here. They have a Macy's Backstage inside the store and if my memory serves me correct it was the first in the area. It's always worth a look around too. The store is a traditional Macy's layout and has everything you would expect. It's not my favorite location, but one of my favorite stores. Especially for the inventory and finds. read more

Macy's at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing was built in 1997 as a prototype for new Macy's stores. It offers a higher level of service than Easton or Polaris in an attractive store with a good selection of merchandise. It's easy to have an associate wait on you and be in and out quickly. read more

What a great experience in a dying mall. The aisles are open, not overwhelming with so much product. The staff is friendly and helpful. Personally, I love this Macys location. It's smaller than Polaris and Easton so there are less options BUT they have a backstage section and because it is smaller you don't have to deal with the craziness of the other locations. They still have a reasonable selection of items and offer curbside pickup. The store associates there are always pleasant and professional. I've never had to deal with anyone with a crappy attitude or bad customer service. read more

Quality items, and friendly staff. The clearance racks are tremendous. Lots of stock with low prices. I came with a $10 birthday coupon not really needing anything, but walked out with 3 pairs of designer shoes, a pair of pants, jeans, and a sweater. I spent $70. Wow. read more

I ordered 3 dress shoes online. Two came in a box that was two times or more too big. There was no packing and the box looked like it had been repeatedly thrown. The shoe boxes in the packing box were also damaged. The third pair was in a smaller box with packing but the actual shoebox was missing the lid. This gives me the feeling that Macy's doesn't care about their quality. Macy's probably doesn't care but I'll probably shop elsewhere in the future. read more

Everyone knows Macy's- they have clothes, shoes, household goods, etc. The reason I am writing a review is because this Macy's deserves the praise. First, the selection- this location is large and has something for everyone. They had a pair of shoes I wanted and watched for months (waiting for the price to drop, so I could get them at a steal!). No other Macy's store I stopped at during this time had that pair of shoes. Second, the customer service- I bought a leather jacket for my husband during the holidays. It was given to him just before Christmas, as we had an event to go to and he needed it! By the end of January, the jacket had a big rip near the pocket! My first thought was, "how the heck do you fix that?" My next thought was to check if Macy's would exchange it since it was so new... They did! The saleswoman checked with a manager and he said ok, since they want me to be satisfied with my product and it obviously should not have torn so quickly. The sales people in the shoe department are also extremely helpful. They will get you different sizes, colors and help you find a shoe to fit your needs. Everyone likes to complain when a store or restaurant gives bad service, so this review is to compliment and thank Macy's for their outstanding service! I appreciate it! read more

Macy's ... you just cant go wrong here. I've always been a fan of Macy's even when the stores used to be Lazarus back in the day. Whenever I need something in particular for an interview, party or just something new, I always go to Macy's. They always have a huge selection and friendly folks that help you. I stopped in here to cure some 'retail therapy' on a Friday afternoon. This store has a great selection too. When I stopped in here last fall, one of the ladies working in the womens area was quick to help me find a suit that I needed for an interview. She didnt sell me no $200 suit, but we quickly went over to the clearance section and found a 2-piece suit for $100. Pretty reasonable -- I can wear the jacket with black dress pants or wear it with the skirt it came with. Plus the lady made sure I had at least three suits to choose from. She waited until I came out of the fitting room to make sure I found what I was looking for. Very nice. It was almost like my Mom was there with me (in a way). Hey, sometimes you need that second opinion on things, right? LOL!! Definitely the store to go to when you need anything! I highly recommend this store at Tuttle Mall!! read more

Tonight I took my elderly mother to Macy's at Tuttle Crossing for her birthday. We have shopped there for years and I can only say how sad and disappointing it has become. The women's plus size department used to span the area on the front of the store so it was close to parking. They moved it and significantly reduced the size of the department. I saw a lot of younger cheap clothes but only two racks of Charter Club and no Jones New York at all. My mother is on a handicap scooter and couldn't get around the racks that were so tightly squeezed together. I saw a woman with a cane on her cell phone trying to explain to her friend where she was. Many of the people who shop in that department are elderly but they have placed the department where you can't park close by. When I told a saleswoman this, she said, "but it's close to the mall!" If they let me park in the mall, that will be great. The rest of the store was also cramped and crammed, apparently to make room for the department of junk they added on the bottom floor. A TJ Maxx carries much nicer stuff. It was sub-Walmart. I can't imagine who is running this mess. I remember going to Macy's at Christmastime and buying all my gifts and leaving them to be beautifully wrapped and enjoying beautiful decorations. Those days are LONG GONE. Went to Macys to buy a couple pairs of dress shoes. Stood thier with several other people for about 20 minutes before someone went to find someone who worked there. Finally a clerk came over. Needless to say 1 clerk and about 5 customers all wanting to try on shoes is a mess. Eventually she brought out a pair for me but it was the wrong color. I said that's the wrong color. She said it was the same color cause she scanned the box. Everyone agreed that it was the wrong color, we had the floor model in our hand, so she huffed and puffed and said she wasnt going to climb those stairs again and basically threw down the box. I said never mind I'm not buying anything here. One star is too many in this review. Customer service was horrible! read more

I like their jewelry section a lot. I found exactly what I was looking for quickly and without being over powered by help. However their collection of coach purses leaves a lot to be desired, their makeup and perfume people are like woah when it comes to having things pushed on you and honestly the amount of purses security chained together makes me feel like I am shopping in the ghetto and not Dublin OH. read more

My husband got a promotion and we thought he needed a new wardrobe to fit his new position. Before Christmas, he ordered a lot of clothing.... shirts, pants, blazer, suit.... at Macy's online. Because it had been ages since he purchased any work clothing, neither of us knew what size he wore. None of the new clothes fit even though we had followed measuring guidelines. It was obvious to us that we needed to go to Macy's for a professional fitting and to return or alter all the purchases. This was a pretty daunting and time-consuming task and we did not look forward to it. First, I want to say that I have not been in a shopping mall for years and order everything online. I had pictured kind of a gloomy environment full of overworked and perhaps underpaid grumpy employees. Boy, was I wrong! First, I am 73 and the nostalgia hit me, remembering years excited to be combing through the racks of clothes in Cincinnati at Shillito's, then Federated, then Macy's with the meager check a young secretary made back in the 60s held tight in my hands, willing to spend. But first, we had to exchange these clothes. Christy in returns was great. She really was so friendly and accommodating. No adversarial customer relationship which I kind of expected since we were returning so much and creating so much work for her at the end of the day. She was sweet, charming, and told us we might be able to get the same price on the correct size when we spoke with the salesperson in Men's Clothing. We went there and met with Mohammed which made it our lucky day. This poor guy was apparently covering half of the floor! People kept interrupting us, trying to get him to show them shoes, find their size in a dress shirt, etc. We were very patient since we knew we were throwing a glitch into everything and we were fine with waiting. He never got flustered and was always kind and willing to help. He fit my husband, offering alterations and everything he advised ended up looking so good on him. And he honored the prices of the original order! We were probably there a couple hours but it was worth it. Mohammed just took care of us between customers so well, amid myriad interruptions for which he apologized. It couldn't have been helped and he had a lot on his plate being the only salesperson I could see anywhere around. In the end, we were very happy. He is a gem, and I hope Macy's appreciates him. Even Susan, a woman who was going counter to counter to refill brochures, was a chirpy, happy person to encounter. I was so pleased with our whole experience that now I plan to return to the store mostly based on these wonderful people. Online ordering is so convenient, yet there is nothing like the human interactions we had as well as actually feeling the cloth clothes are made of and the weight of the fabric and seeing the true colors not distorted on a computer screen. Not everything new is an improvement necessarily. read more

Oh so bad! Found a dress shirt on-line and wanted to know if it would be in stock. Called the local store phone but their voice tree does not include men's shirts. Answer robot sent me to sporting goods. I called back and after hitting "O" several times got someone not at the store. She could not connect with any department. kept trying and after 10 minutes I gave up. Does anyone actually work there? Certainly not anyone who understands customer service. read more

The clothes and sales staff have always been great, but today for the second time I removed an item from the bag I purchased last week only to realize the employee forgot to remove the security tag. It's a HUGE inconvenience to have to return to the store, (a 40 minute drive for me,) and to complicate things further, I can't find the receipt. I knew I wanted to keep all three items I purchase, so keeping hold of the slip wasn't high on my priority list. read more

Tonight between 7-730pm we were shopping in the young girls apparel. The 2 "sales" women working were having a personal conversation, saw me browsing nearby and said "let's go over here" before walking away to have the conversation somewhere else. Neither greeted or offered any help. This was rude but typical of bad customer service skills. We then went to the backstage area and picked a few things. While standing in line we waited a while so that the cashier could check out the lady in front of us. During this time an Indian lady kept apologizing and saying they only have one register. This was totally fine and we appreciated her concern and the fact that she acknowledged us. When the lady in front was done checking out a male employee walked by to buy a drink.. walked right past us and the cashier proceeded to check him out. That was extremely unprofessional so we put everything back and left. Definitely won't be back. No need in having so much staff if they have no customer service abilities. read more

They get no stars for service. Bought an expensive watch and by the time I went through a sizing fiasco with the watch band I returned it 20 minutes later. All of their tools were broken and the associate clearly didn't know what they were doing. After beating it with a hammer and reassembling the watch band incorrectly I realized that the watch wasn't for me. The service did not do the product any favors and Michael Kors wouldn't be too happy knowing that store service ruined the product experience. read more
