I had to complete a new review based on my recent experience at the store. I have recently visited several times, and I enjoyed great interactions with the supporting management team at Kohl's. The supporting management team is very customer focused and the staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have such a nice selection of seasonal merchandise. I love the diversity that Kohl's has had over the last couple of years. The store is always organized, clean, and well maintained. The customer service team like Diane, Debbie and the others are OUTSTANDING! I have to add April she is very helpful and gets the customer's pick orders with a smile using time management. read more

The selection here is decent. I mean it's a department store of clothing, kitchen & bedding stuff. There is now a Sephora inside the Kohls. I feel most of the prices at Kohls are higher than normal. But if you pay full price you're not doing it right. Using the kohls app and the multiple coupons they give out is the only way to shop here. I know they are struggling with staff and technology issues like everywhere else. But ordering online and picking up curbside just is NOT efficient. I had waited almost one hour (55 min) to pick up an order from notification in spot 4 until delivery to my car. read more

Cashier told me that she wasn't able to remove the hangar from my purchase because it's a waste of time. She threw it in the bag. She also left the security tag on. Evidently the time and money I have to waste to return to the store isn't important to Kohl's. read more

Kohl's is a retail store, so I do expect days with good customer service and days with subpar customer service. Usually though I'm just shopping around and the times I do need help, there are people who I can easily find to help. It gets very crowded during the weekends and the store can be a bit messy. I do see employees putting things away, but with so many customers who can keep up with cleaning all of the mess? I like their coupon deals! I don't feel cheated and I like that they accept expired Kohl's cash. I buy my daughter's clothes there. I get a good deal and she grows out of them pretty fast. This Kohl's has a lot of good things but a few things irritate me. There are not enough men's shirts in sizes past XL. Another thing, I hate polyester! Polyester does not breathe. It's like wearing plastic. You will sweat in a shirt made with polyester. Read your labels, guys! Do not buy shirts with polyester or polyester blend. 100% cotton is best. read more

I am usually not a big fan of Kohl's because they are overpriced. Or so I thought. But tonight really changed my mind. They had some really great items at really great prices. The one thing I wanted I really couldn't find. But it's ok they have it online which I am more familiar with. I'm not really big on in store purchases because I can't stand germs and screaming kids. So I prefer to thumb thug it out! Oh well. I had a great time browsing each department and enjoying my family. It was well lit, a little unkempt but well organized. I could find what I wanted. Kohls in Highland is always super clean. The clothes are very organized for the most part, and the checkout staff are the most kind.

I'm am so pissed! I ordered online from kohls...2 pair of jeans for my husband. The waist us too short. Should be a simple thing to return them, right? Nope! I get to the local kohls and find out the receipt has a discover card for payment. I DO NOT OWN A DISCOVER CARD! At any time in my life I've never owned one. So they can't change it in the computer. OK, I called. I'm told they can't change it either! It's your damn mistake! So even if I mail it in it would go to someone else's card. Never again will I order from them! So angry! read more

I wish I could give this store a negative 5 review. Wow. Really? My 80 year old parents go in to do some shopping and my mother stands at the counter to pay. She hands over my father's Kohl's card to get her discount, and cashier says she can't use his card. My dad walks over and shows his ID so he can pay. The cashier says she needs to have her own card to get the discount?!? So my mother tries to give her information and OF COURSE she enters the wrong ss# - there are people waiting and she's nervous! So the cashier once again declines. She ends up paying and leaving with my father. My father calls the manager and he is completely unapologetic. I will NEVER shop at Kohls again. This is not the way you treat your customers. Always hated this place anyway with the Kohl's cash marketing scam which is more trouble than it's worth. Not really sure why I'm wasting my time even posting a review when I know a corporation like Kohl's is definitely not even going to respond about it. But I shop here quite a bit and generally they purposely put things on racks and price things and if you don't pay complete attention you are going to overpay for sure. So anyways they have a rack that the shirts are 65 but they're on sale for 25 and on that rack over half of the shirts are 55 and those are $42. That part I kind of expect from Kohl's but when I asked the girl should I go take a picture she flicks her hand like yeah it's generally not the case but go ahead and take a picture with an attitude in that I don't appreciate. It really makes it hard to waste my time going into Kohl's. I know my wife stop shopping there just for similar reasons. read more

Hot or miss deals and I guess that it why it's called shopping. Sometimes you have to shop around for deals!! I don't really buy clothes here for myself. I get dress shirts here for my hubby when they are on sale. They usually are.... Also they have pretty nice ties. My husband really likes the "Garcia" (as in Jerry, Grateful Dead) ties. They are normally about $40.00 but I get them when they are on sale! They have nice bedding and sometimes I can get things at a good price. The store is pretty nice, clean for the most part. Sometimes areas get hit hard and the clothes are a mess!! Check out the men's clearance section, I seriously got a neat pair of pants for my hubby for like 5.00. read more

Today my mother was accused of having a counterfeit $100 dollar bill. The cashier DID NOT follow protocol to check the bill, she automatically ASSUMED that it was counterfeit. Her assumption resulted in my mother being publicly humiliated in front of other loyal customers. UNACCEPTABLE! A manager verified that the bill wasn't counterfeit and offered my mother 50% off of her item, as if that would soothe her embarrassment. Once again, UNACCEPTABLE!! The highland location desperately need to train their employees properly and hold them accountable for not following protocol. A consumer should not experience PUBLIC HUMILIATION from the lack of follow through in a brand as large as Kohls. read more

Continues to be the worst shopping experiences ever!! EVERY time I go in there, there's another reason my coupon is no good. They never offer anything to cover. The cologne I used to buy there at $40, is now $48. Its still $41 at Meijer. This is the worst store with terrible customer service. Like the time the cashier tore up my coupon right in front of me while stating "this is expired". BY ONE DAY!!! Also I must've looked at a half a dozen different items that were not marked. i dont really shop at Kohl's much......or at all really...im more of a Target girl :-) but my aunt needed a new microwave and they were on sale.....so we headed on over....they had a decent selection....and the lady working in the kitchen dept was super nice and friendly.... $45.00 later we walked out with a brand spankin new microwave that was listed at $99.00 .... looking around they seemed to have some really good everyday prices on kitchen gadgets...i love little kitchen toys, we picked up an avocado slicer and... yes.... a mango slicer as well :-) ( those things are impossible to peel and slice ) so although not a place im going to buy clothes from, for your kitchen stuff, Kohl's looks pretty cool to me read more

Probably the worst company I can think of. They raise their prices so high that when they put it ON SALE, it's what you should be paying in the first place. Don't ever buy a piece of clothing at full price....you'll find it on the clearance rack for 80% off in a few weeks. Sorry Kohl's ...hands down for me. I purchased towels yesterday at the Highland, In store. They were on sale for $2.99 each for the larger towels. I thought they would be great because, as another customer said, they were not heavy. I purchased $75.00 worth of towels. I remembered to wash them first and only washed two of the large bath towels to make sure they washed up and dried well. I washed them two times. They had so much fuzz on them and when I shook them out after I put them in the bathroom there were bits of towel all over the floor. I washed them again this morning and they still do the same thing. I am so disappointed with these towels. Luckily I did not wash any others. I will be taking them back to the store Monday and will NEVER purchase towels again from your store. This happened a few years ago with towels from Kohl's too.
