This isn't so much a review about Kohl's but about the Sephora inside the store. I had the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in a beauty shop. Ulta beauty would never! The cashier had the worst superiority complex towards not just me but other customers coming over the counter to ask for assistance. She deliberately ignored a lady asking for help just because she had to put away a product back on the shelf. Their shelves weren't even that organized for her to prioritize the product placement over helping a customer. Get it together Sephora. SMH. Don't hire rude ass people. I usually find a good clothing deal or two in the clearance section; sometimes I see buy one, get one for a $1 deals going on as well. They mark their inventory up a lot and then put everything on sale; so I wouldn't buy something here unless it was on sale. They have an okay jewelry section. If you need a particular piece to wear once with an outfit they have some cheaper fashion and plated jewelry. Their solid sterling silver and gold selection is small. In gold they have mostly simple hoops and basic studs. The same for sterling with the addition of a few more elaborate dangle earrings. I saw one pair I liked but I couldn't find a mirror to save my life so I put them back. They have a big purse section, but the more I looked the more I realized nothing was real leather--which is okay--I just wished I saw more of other cheaper materials such as fabric and canvas. They have a large selection of linens and kitchen gadgets/utensils, but I would personally check out other stores for those items first as I think the prices are high for the quality they are selling. Overall, I think Kohl's is a nice place to stop by if you are looking for something in particular. You never know what you might find and you might get a great deal, but don't expect much. read more

Worst customer service ever, if your looking for a good deal on something Kholes is not the place to go, they have kholes cash and discounts and sales but if they make a mistake they don't hold up to it and don't keep their word on the price of something. Came in on a Sunday and went to check out, didn't realize my kholes cash didn't start until the next day, that's okay I can come in tomorrow. The lady at the checkout told me should would hold my order and stuff so I can get it tomorrow. She never told me the sales would change the next day and my stuff would end up costing over $20 more if I waited. I came in and first they gave me a hard time about a 15% off coupon I had, after like 15 minutes finally tell me they have a 15% off for military on Mondays which I'm not sure why they didn't say in the first place when I asked if they had any different offers since the one I had wasn't working. Then the price when checking out is completely different then what is was yesterday, they explain it's because their sales change every week. I tell them I was here the day before and planned on buying them, and asked if i could still get the price I was told before. They said no I could buy the stuff online for 20% off and come back, no I'm not coming back a 3rd time for a discount that isn't going to make any difference. Iv been there for about 40 minutes trying to simply make my total price the same price it was supposed to be when I tried purchasing it yesterday. They wouldn't budge, they would rather lose out on my purchase completely then give me the sale price I was told would be held for me the day prior. Sorry for the long review but this is bullshit, Iv worked in retail before and I know for a fact most places would simply allow the price change and not be so rude about it either. It's not a big difference and it's considered good customer service. I go in there for the sales at the end of a season. I would never buy anything full price or any of their "sale" items... everything is so inflated that the "sale" is practically the real price. 80-90% off is the best if you are lucky to find anything. So, I was in the store yesterday. I didn't find what I came for but I stopped in the jewelry section to look at the sale items. While I was browsing, I overheard a young woman come up to the jewelry counter. She asked the associate if she could check out there. She had one pair of pants. The associate replied, "No I cannot...Who said you can come check out over here?" (I was shocked). The young woman replied that another associate had said she should since the line was long at the front of the store. The associate replied "that's fine, this time." Then the young woman was told the total of her purchase and did not agree with the price. She asked "The item said it was 21.99?" The associate returned "Did you read the sign!? It says 'buy one get one 1/2 price. You need to go read the sign and come back'. (Again, I was shocked). The associate's tone and attitude was condescending and rude. I continued to shop for a few moments more. As I was leaving the jewelry section, I saw a man approach the same associate at the jewelry counter with a clothing item. He asked the associate to check the price. The associate returned with "Don't the signs say 'Buy one, get one 1/2 price'?" Honestly, after not finding what I want in the store and seeing these encounters between an associate and other customers, I don't think I will be shopping here anytime this year. read more

Quality of clothing is good especially for thin people or athletically built people. They do have a Texas Longhorns and Cowboys selection of clothing. **Now I know it will hit a cord with the die hards but Kohls has practiced marking up to mark down hence all the sales. The key is to use the coupons on percentage off and then get another percentage off on a sale of that day. The toys are expensive especially the Star Wars and Transformers. They have a very very good selection of T-shirts for guys. They have a very very good selection on perfume. NOTE: If you do the illegal thing by buying coupons on ebay just remember to not to be stupid and do it all in one buy period let some hours go by and use the back customer service desk and then the front registers and you can always go to Georgetown Kohls but watch out the college students really don't know how to park. read more

I'm really embarrassed for Kohl's in Killeen right now. As a former associate who worked for many years in another state, I walked in, looked directly at an associate standing a foot and a half in front of me, smiled and said "Hi!", expecting the same in return (last I checked, the company's standard policy for when every customer walks through the door is they should be greeted with a smile and a "Hi"). Well she looked at me, looked down, and walked away. She then proceeded to have a loud conversation with her co-worker across the store at the jewelry counter. I had to chase after her to ask her if the store carried a product that I was looking for, and where it was located. WHAT THE?!?! I didn't end up buying anything, but the gal at POS redeemed the store a little because as was I leaving, foot almost out the door, she called out to me, "Have a great day!" and took the time to smile and wave to me. Sadly I've encountered similar behavior from what the the first associate displayed during previous visits. I'm inclined to take my business elsewhere, which is really sad because I love Kohl's- both as a customer and as a former associate. read more

The manager here is very friendly and greeted me when walked in. The store is clean and has a lot of product. The merchandise here is very pricey and you are almost force to used coupons, Kohl's cash, clearance, etc. They do have a bit of everything, from jewelry, clothes, bedding, kitchen supplies, electronics, and seasonal items. The checkout line is always really long here it seems like. I would give them a chance if your shopping for a gift or just clothing, but take those coupons! read more

I love this place. I think I might have frequented this place more while I was pregnant, but they always have great deals and the clothing lasts longer then most! It might be weird to post a review strictly on a bathroom, but coming from a Mom who is in the middle of potty training, I have to. This store is the first store that I have ever seen a "family" bathroom have a big toilet, and a mini toilet for the little ones. Such an awesome idea! It's a perfect size for the little ones, especially if they are scared of sitting on the bigger toilet. My little one went to the bathroom today with no problems or worries. It was very clean, and had plenty of room for a stroller as well. Thanks Kohl's for keeping the little ones in mind, and making a bathroom experience easy for us Mamas! read more

I absolutely love this store! I was talking to an associate in the Men's Dept and they are now adding a section for the bigger mens sizes. The misses sections have lots of up to date clothing and plenty to relax in also! The jewelry section is so colorful....the fashion jewelry has so many brands that you're sure to find the look you want. The fine jewelry usually has a good sale...I've been in when it wasn't on sale though. They have such a huge variety of stones in their sterling silver necklaces, earrings and rings. Right now they have a HUGE clearance section. I go at least once a week....having a Kohls charge and the Rewards card, I get lots of great discount and earn reward coupons. read more

I have shopped many times here but this time was special. I brought my autisic boy in because he wanted to spend his hard earned money on a Thomas train. He asked the lady for help finding what he wanted. Was a very nice lady. He waited patiently in line. The lady at the register was so awesome. She waited foe him to count all his money to her. Then she gave him the reciept and told him he saved 85.00 and here was 10.00 in kohls money for next time. I thanked the lady. This used to be my go to shopping place for everything, but after my experience yesterday I will NEVER step foot into a Kohl's again! The CSR was very unprofessional and rude...he treated my husband and I rudely because he did not want to look up my rewards account using my email address. I told him that I shop here all the time and had lost my reward card, and the last time I was here the CSR kindly OFFERED to look it up for me. He refused to look it up by email and instead told me that he had to look it up by phone number, when that didn't work I told him that he would have to look it up with my email. If he would have just done that in the first place instead of arguing with me there would not have been a problem...but it gets worse after this. We make our purchase, finally, and proceed to leave the store. As we are leaving I am distraught at how we were just treated and am talking to my husband and didn't notice that the sensor on one of the shirts caused the door alarm to beep. We get all the way to our car and the CSR comes running out to the parking lot yelling and causing a scene. We didn't realize what was going on and went back into the store where the assistant manager is standing at the front entrance. They start gong through our bags right there in the middle of the store! I was humiliated! My husband told the assistant manager that he needed to speak with him privately about the unprofessional CSR, but the manager actually blamed us and said that if we would have just come back when the sensor went off he would not have had to chase after us! Are you serious! Then the manager proceeds to go on explaining how the sensors work...then he scans our shirt so it deactivates the sensor. If the CSR would not have been rude and done his job correctly the sensor would not have even gone off. We had to finally tell the manager that he was embarrassing us in front of everyone in the store when we did nothing wrong! I have never been treated like this in any department store. I have had sensors go off before in other stores and never was it made into a spectacle for all to see! I have told everyone at my corporation about this incident and they were appalled. My husband is a General Manager in hospitality and would fire an employee who treated a customer this way! To be clear, this was the store in Waco, TX at the Marketplace. read more
