So I stopped into Kohl's Manchester, Mo store to do some shopping as my wife told me to use her Kohls cash and coupon along with credit card. I found some great deals and when I went to check out, I was hounded by the cashier and I would assume a manager because she was standing behind the cashier with her hair in a bun and an earring hanging out of her nose. They tried and tried to get me to take on a credit card in my name. I assume they don't understand the word NO!! They wouldn't leave it alone, I guess the manager was training the new cashier. I just told them to forget it, I wasn't spending my money there and walked out. Rude cashier and manager. If they can't take NO for a simple answer, they shouldn't bother asking people and quit trying to push services onto people that don't want it. I won't shop at the store. My son got lots of clothes at the Kohl's in Creve Coeur. All the tags were taken off, and the sales receipt was shredded. But this ONE pair of shorts didn't work. Well, I think you're supposed to try the clothes on BEFORE you take all the tags off and BEFORE you shred the receipt. But that didn't happen. I took them back to THIS store, because the store of origination didn't have the needed size. Customer service is right up front -- which I found out after having walked half the store. OK, walking is a good thing. I had no tags, no receipt, BUT the purchase was on my Kohl's credit card. I was offered a refund or a replacement. I went quickly to the men's department (which is quite adjacent to Customer Service) and found a better size of the same short. That was so painless, the clerk was so friendly and knowledgeable. I have pleasant associations with Kohl's, as I shopped here during my formative years in Wisconsin. When I venture to St. Louis, I occasionally stop by here, less so in recent times with the emergence of Costco in my shopping orbit. As other reviews point out, the frequent sales, not to mention Kohl's cash, mean that one rarely, if ever, needs to buy at full price. I make it a point not to venture out on Black Friday, and was pleasantly surprised that the shopping experience here was actually relaxing. Perhaps every other shopper was at Wal-Mart, or Target, clawing each other's eyes out over the latest electronic goods (and bads). I managed to score a nightgown and sweatshirt, all in a calm environment, with the satisfaction that I would not be showing up on any of that evening's news coverage featuring holiday shopping crowds gone wild. Service here is always friendly, however they have some slow cashiers which makes getting in and out quickly difficult sometimes. The store itself is well kept and there is always a wide variety of items available. I typically would stop into this location due to its proximity to my office, luckily my office has since relocated so I won't have to worry about slow cashiers and lines anymore. read more

It's ok. Lot's of deals and Kohl's cash. But As far as savings go. I'm not sure it can beat deals you can get fron TJ Maxx or Marshalls clearance sections. Perhaps I'm not as Savvy a shopper as some. It seems like a commitment and a lot of work to save at this store, and not much selection for men. read more

False advertisement. More $$ in store Than the advertised in store price online. Highly disappointed with staff help. The coffee pot was $30-$40 more than Walmart, Best Buy, target and so on. This store wouldn't "Price match" for me like they normally do as do other stores. I Never had a problem with any of the stores in the past and I shop a few different locations. They must be just cranky after all the Holidays. I will give them "1" last chance and see how things go. read more
