I would go under a 1 star if I could. I once was a great Kohl's supporter. Not at all now. As I was in line, the employee said she could take care of me. She had no smile, was more rude than anything. After checking out, I told her in a nice tone why that handicapped parking was at one end of the store, and checkout at the other. Please put Amazon signs all around the store. Very annoying trying to find it. Also please train your customer service how to process online returns. Been there a couple times this month and they had to scan the item like 10 times and kept saying it wasn't showing up. They also don't know how to redeem a coupon code. they basically said GTFOH without a barcode (including manager). I purchased an online item for $179 only because it gave $30 Kohl's Cash. I should have bought the item directly from the maker ir bought it from a different store for $150.....which is actually the original price. The marketing tool is the Kohl's Cash which I appreciate. My Kohl's Cash email went to my spam account. By the time I called Kohl's & realized that my $30 Kohl's Cash had been gone to my spam, it had expired. I called Kohl's & explained that the $30 Kohl's Cash was in spam mail & expired....I was told it was nothing they could do once it expires. I call "B.S" on that......just like they can give Kohls Cash, they can make exceptions/reissue expired ones. Lesson learned & confirms why I stopped shopping there. And the only reason I still have their credit card is because I've had it for over 15 years & I don't want to close it for credit score reasons......otherwise I'd close it..but I am cutting the card & trashing it. I am a big fan of Kohl's. They always treat you well here. The staff is really helpful and they seem happy to be there. That is not always the case in retail. We have bought and returned items here and have not had any issues with them. The selection is a little smaller her than some of the other stores but it is also less crowded. read more

Mansfield TX Kohls has the worst customer service period. I used to love Kohls and spent alot there. No more. Maybe kohls is off the market now- doesn't matter that they decided to remain in business (BAD decision btw) because this location will NOT last with the horrible attitudes especially at the "customer service counter" for pick ups and returns. The main female (definitely NOT a "lady") has destroyed the reputation of mansfields kohls and they know it and have allowed it to go on for years. She won't even allow you to return something with a receipt- the same day purchased. Can't exchange for a different size- without paying additional $- because she's mean and miserable and takes it out on all of the customers especially the elderly. Theres a special place in hell for people who do that. It's a JOKE. I refuse to shop there now as does EVERYONE I know now. The markups on everything is ridiculous. Everyone else is cheaper with a better attitude (doesnt take much with how horrible kohls attitude is!). Raising your clearance prices so that you can say its 80 percent off and a cheesy chaps dress shirt is over $100. Avoid this place like the plaque. Especially when corporate could not Possibly care less. Contacted them several times and they dont care at all. Started years ago and have NEVER received any response. My mom was looking at the jewelry on clearance and an employee brushed by her shoulder without even saying excuse me. Being polite is the bare minimum as an employee. The least you would expect from a cashier is to be greeted, but the cashier at this Kohl's today had an attitude as if she didn't want to be there. I get it, I've worked in retail but I would never take my anger out on customers. Do better or hire better, Kohl's. read more

The Kohl's in Mansfield is good overall. They do have some limited selection on shoes and housewares but a very good selection of clothing lines. You do have to be very careful when looking at their sales. As a general rule I do not buy anything from the store unless it is on sale as they have the 100% mark up 'bargain finder' model. Meaning, the regular prices in the store usually have a 100% mark up (double what it should cost) and then is on sale for 30% to 50% off (or BOGO, etc.). You can get Kohl's cash and if use properly you will get a very good deal. however, the Kohl's cash is structure more like a pyramid scheme and you can end up going there to use them and spend more than you wanted. This is all part of their sales model. The staff is generally courteous but I have never seen the same associate twice. It is a good store and I would recommend shopping there. read more

The drive up and pick up at this store is a mess. I came to pick up and all the designated spots were full. I parked in a spot directly adjacent to a numbered spot. I opened the email and entered my info into the pickup pass. I couldn't get the pickup pass to go through so I called the store. I was put on hold and then transferred, and then once someone finally answered they told me I would have to come into the store if I could not find a numbered spot. I have a 3 month old baby and am not taking her into stores due to COVID, so this negates my whole purpose of purchasing this way. It's going on 30 minutes and I still don't have my items and the numbered spots are still all full, and I have a crying baby in the backseat. They clearly need a better system. You would think after 9 months or so they could figure out how to streamline curbside pickup. Save yourself the headache and don't mess with curbside pickup at this store. read more

I can't remember ever being so insulted in a department store!!!! Went to pick up an online order for a comforter and while in the store noticed that the same item I was purchasing was advertised in store as buy one get one for $1. I went to customer service and picked up my online order and inquired if I could add the additional item for $1. When rung in the system, the POS machine showed a different promotion than what was advertised on the floor. An associate was sent to verify the advertisement on the floor and confirmed what the wrong sign was put up. I was told they would honor the price advertised but needed a manager to override the charges. I waited patiently and after several pages the sales associate asked a gentleman that said he was a Manager if he could do the override. The situation was explained and he proceeds to tell me it must have been the customer that changed the sign. I indicated that I was the customer and I couldn't believe he would be indicating I somehow got ahold of signs, went into the store and changed the promotion. He then indicated it was me or could have been my son (18 months) that changed the sign. Disgusted I left and promptly called customer service, requesting a follow up call from Management to address the issue. This was 2/21. Today is 3/7 and I've not heard one word. Absolutely dissatisfied with the customer service and online- site to store pick up. I ordered a pair of shoes on 11/08 and they were to arrive between 11/12-17th. I visited the store on 11/21 to pick up the completed portion of my order. I took a stroll to the shoe section and saw the same exact shoe in the size I ordered on the shelf. Not just one pair, but two pairs. I asked at the customer service desk if I could have the shoes to complete my order since my order was still not ready. They said the shoes on the shelf must have been in transit and arrived after my order was placed and that my order was on the way. My shoes were coming from another Kohl's. Then today 11/23 I get an email that the shoes that I ordered were sold out. Wait?! So the shoes I ordered that were in transit from another Kohl's magically were sold? I was denied the shoes that were in stock at the location I designated for pick up. I was additionally told if I wanted the shoes they had in stock I would have to pay the price difference from when I purchased them online with a promo code to the price the store had them marked for. How is that I did everything right and I'm getting screwed. Terrible customer service from the customer service at the Mansfield location. Guess what? The shoes are still in stock at this location and I'm still shoeless with an order that was cancelled. read more

I was looking for Valentine's Day sweaters at the last minute and I called in and a nice lady answered the phone and help me put them on hold so I can come pick them up 30 minutes away from my house. I drove all the way there to pick my stuff up from customer service and I had my hands full with the other things that I decided to grab. When I got customer service there was a curly hair lady and a lady with short blond hair. They were having a conversation and did not pay me any attention until they were done with her conversation. Then the blond lady said can you wait a second even though I was the only person there. I asked Judy that was her name, for the stuff I had on hold and she said what is it and I said it's under Amanda and she said what is it. I responded it's two sweaters so she went to go grab them, I ask if I could pay for all of my stuff here or did I need to go wait in line. She seemed bothered but processed to let me check out. Don't leave customers waiting till your done doing what your doing especially when your not doing anything but talking. Don't seemed bothered by customers in the first conversation. Just because you say thank you and have a good day, if you don't mean it we can tell. I won't drive 30 mins to get anything from there again. read more

Today I visited Kohl's in Mansfield. I had purchased numerous items off the clearance rack and my wife had some tops she liked from the regular selection. As I checked out I thought my bill was a little high but I didn't want to hold up the line. Once I got home I went through the receipt and found a rather big error. It was not the cashiers fault. A pair of shorts originally costing $55 was marked down 90%, however I was charged over $30. The ticket showed $5.50. I brought the item back and Melissa adjusted the amount saying that it was possible ticket may have been switched at one time. She was very polite and I really appreciated her courtesy. read more

Beware of Kohls return policy. Returned a pair of pants, $29.99, they credited my account $8.10 for the return. My total purchase was almost $150 after using two $10 Kohl cash coupons. They subtracted the $20 Kohl cash from the one pair of pants and then subtracted another .64 cents for KOHLS CASH-?? and $1.87 for a TRANS DISC-??. They cheated me out of $21.89. I will not go back to Kohls. What a lousy way of running a business. read more

Extremely poor customer treatment while shopping in the Kohl's Mansfield, Texas store #1181. While shopping with with my daughter, we heard the announcement that the store was closed. I immediately told my daughter we needed to find her father and brothers. As we walked out from the jewelry department and turned in the opposite direction from the staffed registers, I was called out to by an employee that I was moving away from the registers from approximately thirty feet away. I replied that I was looking for my husband. At this point, I was not upset. Then the staff person asked if I was looking for a man and two boys, I said " yes, " to which she indicated that they had gone towards the back. This did surprise me that she would take note of all the customers. As I moved away to look for them. She called out that we needed to get to the registers. Because of her tone and what she said, I stopped, turned around and asked her what she said. She replied that she said we needed to get to the registers. Then I became upset and asked for her name, but did not say anything else and started walking away looking for the rest of my family. She then started following behind me and got on her radio saying that she needed assistance looking for " a man with two boys." (As if we were criminals or completely disregarding that the store was closing.) At that point I called out that I would find them myself and did not need her help. Keep in mind, we are still several feet apart, so we were both being significantly loud. As I got past the second set of registers, my husband and children came around the aisle. At that point, I was very embarrassed and upset that I had been single out and treated in this manner. I loudly stated that "Sandy wanted us to leave the store and to leave all the items we had in our baskets." At that point we walked back toward the registers. I called back out to Sandy who started walking the opposite direction that we were leaving. I also loudly exclaimed to all the other individuals checking out that Sandy wanted us to leave. When we all got into the car, my husband pointed out that it was just 9 PM. I then decided to call back to the store. After looking up the store number and selecting to speak with afterhours staff, I spoke with Daniel. I asked Daniel for the store manager and then the time at his store. He indicated it was 9:07 PM. I asked who was the manager, and he told me the manager on duty was Sandy! I asked to speak with Sandy to inform her that I would be filing a complaint. When Sandy came to the phone, I stated my name and told her I was the customer she had treated poorly and that I would be filing a complaint. I explained that her yelling out to me and saying that we needed to get to the register was disrepectful and that I was very upset by her treatment. She indicated she is mandated to get customers to the register. Thinking back, I did not hear her say anything to any other customers, inquire about other customers in the store on the radio, or walk out of the front area searching for other customers to corral to the registers. Maybe she chooses another method to single out customers to direct to the registers? Maybe it is height, weight, or even "skin color"? At the time of my call, I did let her know that there was a better way to do it. As I told Sandy when she gave a half hearted apology and stated her "mandate," I will be discussing my complaint with the General Manager and anyone else who will listen. I would like to note, my husband stated that no one else approached him about leaving and he saw several other individuals still shopping in other areas. Every other sales person I and my daughter encountered were nice and polite. read more
