Most of these items are specialty products or imports and good quality. Some are imported and then packaged here in the U.S.A. We are especially fond of a line of pickled baby beets. I found both the whole and sliced baby beets today and a jar of true baby Polish Dill pickles and a glass jar of beautiful peaches. You'll find imported and gourmet jams and jellies and sauces here, too. I've bought a little bit of everything at Big Lots. The food section in this store today was attractively arranged, very clean - no leaking jars or sticky anything - and the location of items made sense. Check out was pleasant and swift.

My friend was actually shopping for a wallet and they were so difficult to find but we located them at the front at the check out line. He didn't find the style he was looking for. We browsed around as I was looking at their flip flops and sandals which were an extra 50% off the ticketed price but did not find any that I liked. Did not shop for clothes nor any other items. It almost reminded me of like a Dollar Tree and DD's Discounts combined. Not a bad store by any means, but I left disappointed.

The quality of the items is why I'm not a huge fan. I swear, 99% of the things the kids buy end up breaking within a week, sometimes even on the ride home. Then, some items seem overpriced at $5. I won't bore you with a list of store names (just go to their website) but it's a comprehensive shopping experience from designer to everyday brands. Shoes, clothes, jewelry, accessories, kids stores/toys. There isn't any restaurant experience here, but they do have a few classic "mall food" snacks, like Auntie Anne's pretzels and Great American Cookies, plus a candy store, coffee, and tea. Personally I like to come here when it's cold outside, or at least cool weather. There's really not much shaded parking, plus it's just too hot to walk outside from store to store in the summer heat.

These retail for $10 each. Needless to say, we bought 23 bottles and won't need to buy shampoo or conditioner for a Looooooong time! Store was so neat and tidy! Blown away by the organization in the books! Kudos! Cashier was WONDERFUL! So friendly. Engaged in conversation.
