I was a regular customer for several years, but in the last 5 years or so I have rarely purchased from Kohls. Today I went looking for some summer dresses. Found several that I liked so I proceeded to the changing room. Well there are about 10 or so changing rooms, and 7 of them were locked....no one using them, just locked. The ones that were available were dirty (dust bunnies and clothes strewn about). I reluctantly used one to try on the items, but after having to spend 10 minutes in the dirty changing room, decided I did not want to purchase anything. I guess the employees are too lazy to unlock more rooms and clean up, so I hope they don't mind that I left every item on the floor along with the items the previous customer tried on. I'm done with Kohls, they need to open up all the changing rooms and keep it clean. I ended up at TJ Maxx and had a much better experience and also found some cute things. read more

I celebrated my 12th customersary of being a Kohl's customer at this Missouri City store. I often receive coupons and advertisements in the mail and emails. But this time, a reminder app on my new iPhone told me check out a great deal I shouldn't miss at Kohls.com. So, I rushed over to the nearest Kohl's store. I couldn't believe it was so easy to get here on Highway 6. This is the 4th Kohl's store I've been in Houston. The parking lot is a lot bigger than other locations. I think it was because Palais Royal left the mall. Everything was so neat at this Kohl's store. Store has a logical layout and I didn't have trouble locating men's department. The clearance area was huge with everything in one place. I didn't have to guess the prices because they were clearly labeled. I bought what I wanted, of course, it was on sale. I was short to earn another $5 Kohl's cash after calculating the price with a cashier. She let me go back to get more stuff while holding my purchase. She was so efficient and I didn't get her name because they don't put cashier's name on the receipt anymore. I spent about 2 hours shopping and lost track of time. I think I may have skipped my lunch. Since I was in Missouri City, I decided to get something to eat before heading back to Houston. read more

There's nothing like the thrill of not having shopped for a Xmas present to send you into this place - LOL! I recently ended up here the day before Xmas eve to try to find something for someone. I ended up with several items..... for myself! LOL!!! I actually was surprised at the prices and selection so I treated myself to a couple of new wallets, T-shirts and a bag of truffles. ......sorta forgot about getting the gift. My wife turned me to this place and i've slowly grown fond of this place. Kohl's is great especially if you have a Kohl's Card. They always do promotions that allow for you to stack coupons on top of each other. basically it's not atypical for you to purchase 100 dollars worth of merchandise and receive 50% off your final price with stackable coupons and "kohl's cash". the store is clean and it doesn't get cluttered. the staff is fairly friendly and they are helpful when you need certain items. read more

I am not ashamed to admit I totally love Kohl's. Of course I used to be all about Mervyn's too and Kohl's is like its default replacement. Okay so Kohl's does border on such department store territory as Sears and JC Penney, which means it's not the most elegant cutting edge place to shop for clothes, shoes, and housewares. But it is consistently affordable and the quality is pretty all right for the most part. There's a few designer Kohl's lines - like Vera Wang and I guess if you want to be liberal with "designers" - Lauren Conrad's line (some of it is totally cute - I promise!). I scoff at the default price tags, but one thing Kohl's is adamant about is sales and clearances. And boy are some are the sales ridiculous and if you happen to have a Kohl's card with the "additional 15-20% off" cards - you can really go nuts. But yeah, I can't quite endorse Kohl's as the place to track down "one of a kinds" or long-lasting clothes. It's great for basics and your credit card won't be aching thereafter. In terms of house-related ware - Kohl's has what Macy's and the others has. Similarly priced as well. Anyway I am totally down with Kohl's, maybe you should be too! read more

I'd never shopped at Kohl's until this year. I should have paid them a visit sooner because they have some cute, classic clothing for good prices. Wardrobe staples like jeans, T-Shirts in black, white and others colors as well as pieces that add nice touches to any outfit can be found here. The dress selection is nice and you can find trendy as well as classic styles. Kohl's also carries household appliances as well as household decor, bedding and bath items. You can find some good buys for some kitchen appliances that are brand name and it's worth taking a look in this department. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The store is organized and well kept. It's a nice place to come browse and find some cute clothing and maybe a cool kitchen appliance. read more

For those who have never been to Kohl's: 1. They occasionally mail their catalog-thing that has a '% off' coupon. The best one is 30% off the subtotal (which is ridiculous on top of their sales/clearances, how do they make money???). What my mom does is ask all her friends who has the 30%, then they lend each other that 30% off coupon (it's reusable). You have to have a Kohl's charge card to use it, which isn't too bad. 30% off is worth it. 2. For every $50 you spend, you get $10 in 'Kohl's cash' to use for a future purchase. Not bad. Great for if you plan on going to Kohl's again. 3. They usually have clearances where items are 80% off, which is pretty sweet. Though those items either are extremely ugly/tacky, extremely sized (XXXL), or seasonal. For example I got 2 pair of black dress socks with a purple stripe running through it for basically a dollar after all the markdowns. I love Kohl's. You can find some brand name clothing, albeit not certain brands like CK, RL, Nike, etc. They have Levi's, Adidas, Van's. Their Levi's jeans had a Buy one get one half-off, which isn't too shabby for Levi's. If you are shopping for a teenage son, they have all your 'skater' clothing. Though some of the graphics are kind of tacky, but to each their own. While I can't say much about the women's section, the men's shoes are "okay". They don't look that good, but if you want shoes for its function, such as running, or business, or whatever, Kohl's selection of brands/shoes will fit nicely. Sometimes you can find a shoe that actually looks nice. For example, I picked up a pair of burlap textured Van's yesterday. The tag said $55, but when I checked out, it was $49.99, then after the 30% off coupon, it was basically $35. And the styles/models will change over time. Years ago, I found a GREAT pair of casual K-Swiss's (a brand they don't carry anymore *tear*). Then about 1-2 years later I couldn't find it anymore. So now if I find a shoe I really like, I try to buy 2 pairs. What's interesting I found on my trip yesterday was that Kohl's was selling various foods now. Maybe I didn't saw this in previous visits, but the selection of food was quite good. They had a lot of Stonewall Kitchen branded jams, sauces, dressings, baking mixes, etc. Under regular prices, it would've been ridiculously overpriced, think Whole Foods expensive without the 'Organic' label. The ingredients are natural though. However, what takes the cake is they were 40% off. So the 8.5oz jams that were originally $6.99 was only $4.19. Coupled with 30% off, it is only $2.93 and effectively $2.34 under the Kohl's cash ($10 for every $50) calculation. However, $2.93 is pretty darn good for a jam that doesn't use HFCS like those you'd find in HEB/Walmart. Lots of spacious parking. It's pretty close to Ross and Palais Royal, if you want to compare. The associates are pretty helpful and friendly as well. Kohl's has a GREAT returns policy: return ANY item ANY time ANY reason, with OR without receipt. ^Though it would put a hole to those who would try to game the system by returning something bought at discount for full price since, for example, using a 30% off coupon requires using their card which means they can track it. (Good for corporate, bad for unscrupulous buyers) read more

The store has a good wait u of clothes but it's definitely more pricey too. They do have good coupons once in a while which is what I look out for. The layout is really nice and for the most part clean. A con of this store would be putting things on hold. Whenever I place things on a hold they never seem to be there the next day. It gets really annoying when I have things I really like. read more

Kohl's - Department Stores Near Me - MISSOURI CITY, Texas

Having shopped recently at both this locale and the one in Rosenberg, I find this one is much cleaner, organized, and better stocked. At half off, the bath rugs I wanted were not in stock in Rosenberg the entire time of the half-off sale. On Sunday, a sales associate at Rosenberg misinformed me that the rugs would still be on sale this week. It would help if their electronic signage would give the sale dates so shoppers don't have to rely on a clerk's say so. I went today to Missouri City Kohl's only to find that while they had much better inventory of sale goods, they were no longer half off, but 25% off. I went to the manager, Carmen, and explained the issue. With a smile, she quickly offered to honor the half off sale price and took the time to override the computer to help make a customer happy. With this, plus their Kohl's cash program and frequent customer rewards, I will definitely be back after such wonderful customer service! read more

Overall the place is alright... but what wins me over is the clearance section and having the 30% off or more coupons. Without those, I wouldn't bother. Of course you have to have a kohl's card to get the best prices/deals. I basically only go here if tagging along with my parents when I visit them out in Sugar Land. read more

I cone to Kohl's often as they always mail me these amazing $10 off anything coupons. This is not one of my favorite Kohl's locations, though. Was treated a bit rudely by 2 employees within 10 minutes of entering the store- one asked me to pre-roll down the paper towels in the restroom for her so she wouldn't have to touch it. Super bizarre! And another interrogated me about going into a fitting room to nurse my baby. I'm also docking another star because an associate told me they don't carry kids' clothing here... you know I do, I do, I do, I do, I do LOVE Kohls! everytime I come to this location, I find something special! Armed with my coupons, I was on a quest for bargains!! Lucky me, I found a frilly mint green flowery maxi dress by Lauren Conrad clearanced out at $15. On my way to try it on, the sound of rattling near my feet startled me. After looking down, I noticed the security tag was hanging on by the the threads of the dress. Not good. After careful inspection, I saw that the dress could be easily hemmed by hand, but I had to think-- did I really want to go through all that trouble for this dress??? as I was pondering this, the dressing room attendant encouraged me to try it on because it would be a simple fix and could be discounted down some more. With her insight, I tried in the dress, which fit perfectly! When I came out, I asked the same attendant about getting the price discounted down some more. She asked if I had any more shopping to do. When I said no, she escorted me personally to the manager. On the way to the manager, the attendant explained how I could make an inexpensive mend to the dress (which I already knew how to do, but was elated that she'd explain it to me). When we reached the manager, she explained for me why the item needed to be discounted again. Talk about customer service!!! With my $10 off $10 and 20% coupons along with the extra 15% for the damaged dress, it was free!!! I only spent $6 on a fancy discounted black sweater--a necessity in my professional closet! $core!!!! not only do you find great items at THIS Kohls, yoy get above and beyond exceptional customer service!!! Great selection and I have found many great deals on clothes on the clearance racks. The only downside at Kohls is that the lines can tend to be long and slow. I wish they would fix this. Also, I would love a cart that does not include a child's seat and clean. read more

Kohl's has wonderful stuff at an incredibly reasonable price. I usually go there to purchase my work clothes, and always leave with something I LOVE. They carry Vera Wang, J Lo's brand (whatever it's called), and Lauren Conrad's clothes amongst other great designers. The clearance section has a lot of hidden treasures, so make sure you check it out. read more

Decent sales on various clothing and household items makes me stop in a few times a year. Make sure to bring coupons and if you can pay it off use their charge card for extra discounts. Usually, have to do some searching, but can often find some good deals. This store sometimes has a nice plus size section, but other times I've noticed it to be fairly limited. Maybe that section is popular and goes quickly? I do like that you can find some kitchen goodies at steals if you are patient and mindful. read more

Saturday 6 May 2017 I am giving 1 star since a ZERO is not available. My wife went to Kohl's today to purchase some items. After picking her items out she went to the customer service register and very politely explained she didn't have her card with her, would like to purchase the 3 new dresses, pants and tops. She was curtly talked down to by a very sour, snotty and generally unhappy female of American descent (to be politically correct, the same as we are) since she didn't have a name badge visible. With a blatently loud sigh and rolled eyes, we dont do that here anymore! You'll have to go back to the registers and they will help you. What ever happened to customer service? Basically you are bothering me and I have other more important things to do except take care of you ATTITUDE. Since we had stopped shopping at this location, because of previous bad experiences, I wasn't too surprised at the same lousy attitude in the employees. My wife politely turned around and left the new merchandise as well as the other to be exchanged merchandise. I told her she should have taken the other merchandise which had the tags on it and donate it to the Goodwill across the street. I am such they would have appreciated it. Now that I am finished I am currently shredding my cards which I have had since Kohl's came to town. This was the proverbial straw for the camel's back. If I could write the advertising it would be Poor Quality at Ridiculously High Prices when not on sale. Their Kohl's cash is a rip-off when trying to return purchases. read more
