A shout- out to ASHLEE who made my day extra special by going overboard to help me get to the right person with an order issue I had. There is a little area where u can do a quick catch up on ur laptop, or charge your phones, or even get a drink from the vending machine. If this has been around since long then I have been too self involved to notice it..... Armed with everything I had in mind, I walked out with the biggest smile. These days they seem republican and antiquated and their prices are high and they're not moving things into the future at the same pace as the likes of JC Penney, which aren't themselves the most amazing, but at least they're getting some things more right than Macy's. This particular location is the first ever discounted Macy's in Houston, think the Macy's equivalent of Nordstrom Rack or something like that, maybe Saks Off Broadway. So you'll find much better deals here than at the regular Macy's, and that's why I gave them three stars. It's good to have this chain in Houston, but as Barbie will attest, the clothes for women are not the greatest, and even with all the discounts, they're still not cheap enough to tempt us to buy them.

I asked to see the shoes in the size that I ordered online. Someone went to grab them for me and put them up front. I went up to the register and showed them my online order. I asked that they pull the order in the system now since I have the shoes in hand. They did. If I hadn't have done that there is no telling when they would have gotten around to pulling the order.
