This has to be one of the largest Target (#1) stores I've seen. The selection is vast, the number of employees working here is practically an army, the parking lot is enormous, and one can fulfill their 10K step count by just simply showing up. This is the kind of Target where most folks would be happy to shop at. As a result of being so large, it never feels all that crowded here. Some areas are smaller than regular stores, such as the electronics and select clothing areas. One thing they haven't scaled back on now, is cach up to electronics, which are more dedicated iPhones and laptop demos and bigger TVs. The only thing I didn't love was that the main public bathroom was out, forcing eveyone to use family bathroom next to the pharmacy. It wasn't all that clean, but I hope they've got it all sorted now. While I don't always make it out to Target, I can appreciate a good one when I see it. My son picked up a drive through order and the pack of soda was torn open and sealed partly with tape. They put it in his trunk so we didn't realize until he got home and unloaded. Second time this happened - once was a case of water and the plastic tore and bottles rolled out all over the car park. The guy just picked up the bottles and dumped them in our trunk. Do better Target! Do not have your drive-through staff dump damaged goods in people's trunk! read more

This is probably one of the largest targets I have been in. It is also one of the cleanest Targets. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that they do not have many things in stock so it's not always worth shopping there. read more

I'm kind of shocked by the reviews, this target is great especially compared to the ones in Rosenberg and Missouri city. They have a pretty good selection of goods and anything I need is almost always in stock at this location. The food offerings are more vast and it's great for me to pick up lunch and coffee before the workday if I know I'll be too busy to leave my desk. My husband took his prescription for eye glasses and gave it to Fahim after choosing a frame. After ordering his glasses we left. Two days later I got a call saying his glasses were ready for pickup. After trying on the glasses it was discovered that Fahim put the WRONG prescription in one of his lenses. Not acceptable. He lacks customer service skills. When I picked up my glasses he never asked me to try them on to make sure they were good. I tried them on and I could see out of mines so I left. He never once asked if they were fine. Nothing, he definitely needs retraining for customer service skills. read more

This location is ok. Has what's needed for the most part. However, pack your patience. Every time I get ready to check out, there are only TWO registers open. There are 20 total check out lines. But only two operating. And there are two self check-out areas with 4 registers in each. One whole area is closed completely almost every time I'm in there. And the other one only had 2 of the 4 registers working today. The lines were at least 5 customers deep. C'mon target. Do better. People are back-to-school shopping already. I witnessed customers get fed up and walk out because of these lines. You're losing business. I'll go to the grand parkway location next time. read more

Do you want to spend a lot of money for no reason? Then this place is for you. So, after much remodeling, I've learned which areas to avoid-beauty section, books, technology, so I can leave with my head held high. If you plan your visit well you can avoid all of the traps. Some of the downfalls of this store is that their office section is way too heavy on the cutesy impractical stuff and not enough basic stuff you need for your home office or classroom. As a teacher some of that stuff is useless to me and we love ridiculous cutesy office stuff. I've noticed they have every brand imaginable, yet they leave out some items for a set. For instance, they'll carry your fave make up and beauty brands but specific collections will be missing, just so they can claim they have it all. Case in point the Yes line. They have some of Yes to Blueberries, but not the full line as it made space for Yes to Carrots, Tomatoes, or whatever new trendy superfood the Yes brand is marketing. For makeup, I saw some mascara I liked was missing and nice soap bars were gone. That just means I have to go to Ulta or HEB, which isn't a bad thing, but it makes me wonder if their carrying everything under the sun motto is bringing in any profits. Just avoid your pitfall areas and you will be safe. If you don't, happy shopping and may you not spend more than $150. read more

This is a super target. But it doesn't act like super. On a busy Friday night, only 4 out of 24 cashier lines were open. I've never seen the self-serve check out line by customer service desk open. So, what's up with that? I frequent here just for a quick grab on cat litter or cat food. Sometimes, I look at those pretty household items. But rarely buy groceries here. The store is super clean. When walking in, you'll see staff sanitizing every cart, basket, etc. you know they take Covid-19 seriously. I've never had any issues finding any items. Guest services desk is so uptight with returning electronics. I tried to return an unopened tv I bought at a different target location and they wouldn't even accept my return. Their reasoning was because "it's a high dollar item and you have to return it at the location you bought it at". This was the dumbest reasoning I've ever heard. Just because I bought it at a different target means I can't return it here??? All Targets sell the same product and the Sugarland location doesn't allow returns is so nit-picky. I don't see anywhere on the returns policy that I have to return an item exactly where I bought it at is nonsense. I've never dealt with a Target location more anal than this one. My recommendation is for them to loosen up and pull a stick out of their @$$. read more

I like coming here early in the morning when. No one else is around. The store is clean and the items on the shelves are nicely organized. There aren't a lot of customers so no waiting in line to check out and I can go as quickly or as leisurely as needed. Another Super Target with above average customer service. Big parking lot, lots of typical Target fare inside, pharmacy, groceries, etc... I called today, because I needed poker chips (not for poker, for my classroom... long story, we don't gamble at school). I was very pleasantly surprised when I got a nice guy in electronics (yeah, totally doesn't have to do with poker chips) who found out not only if they had poker chips (which they did), but how much they were. I didn't even ask how much they were so I thought it was really nice when he found out the price and what aisle they are on! I went to Target and got my poker chips! Customer service is what differentiates one chain store from another. I was impressed with the customer service tonight and will be back to this location. read more

This Super Target in Sugar Land is the closest location to Stafford, so it's the area I most frequently find myself in when I need to grab something that you can't get more locally. The place seems to have been renovated in the past couple of years, as everything seems new-ish. They've added a few unique sections too, including a sizeable section dedicated to the Magnolia line from HGTV's Fixer Upper. The store is sprawling but well-organized and with an ample amount of staff capable of helping you. They suffer from the "30 checkout lanes but only 4-5 are open" issue that many other stores do, but at least they tend to keep enough open to get you out quickly enough. The grocery section isn't particularly impressive, but they run some really good deals from time to time, particularly on their meat products. I'd much rather go to Aldi or HEB because the selection is much better and the prices are similar or better. My only main knock on the place is that they seem to be reducing some of their longer-standing in-house brands in favor of bringing in more expensive third-party brands. Their Merona line was nothing fancy, but it's completely gone from this store and replaced with much more expensive items from Haggar and other brands. read more

I had gone to target to buy some items. Although they are sometimes when your card has problems, one of the staff, her name was Suzanne, she was very rude and gave attitude. After I had stated it to her, I had some problems with my card it would take a few seconds. She refused to listen to me. She had remove my belongings and told me to step to the side by the time she had done so I had already figured out my card problems. I had told her I was ready and she removed my belongings still and refused to give them back. I had to grab them from the side because she did not want to give them back. read more

When I come to the store they are out of what I need. I will have a list of about 15 to 20 things and only find five things or less on my list. I end up abandoning my cart and leaving the store. Speaking about carts, good luck finding one. Last Saturday there were no carts to be found inside the store, you had to venture out into the parking lot to find your own. If you do happen to find what you are looking for, good luck when it comes down to checking out and paying for your purchase. Out of about 30 registers, they will only have one open...on a Saturday afternoon! Unless you want to wait in a line of about 5 people with full carts, you will have to check your own stuff at self checkout. I hate this store. read more

I come to this Target a few times a week because I work close by, but I always dread checking out. They need to update or perform maintenance on their POS systems, particularly in regards to the chip reader. Almost every time I go I have to make sure to have multiple cards in my wallet because I will insert the chip, and it's too loose and it slides back out or doesn't read it correctly and rejects it. Try again and it rejects and asks you to swipe. This is a scheme commonly used by fraudsters to steal card information, so then my card ends up blocked and I have to call my fraud center to explain that no, it was a valid transaction, Target just can't get their act together with their card readers. My first thought when this started happening was that it was an issue with my specific card, but I don't have issues any where else and it happens either every card that I try to use there. I knew the car in the spot my find my AirPods app showed it last scene and I wanted help contacting the couple I saw take my cart away possibly holding the AirPods, I almost lost hope checking under all cars in the line up. I used to come to this Target every lunch time to buy myself lunch, look around for some grocery / shopping deals, and get my exercise by walking laps in the store. One of the good thing about Super Target is that they have everything under one roof. Super Target by far out class any of the Super Wal-Marts in Houston. 1. During lunch time, they would have assorted samples in the grocery / bakery area where you could nibble on samples of fresh cut fruits, cheese cubes, deli meat, or baked good such as cookies or mini-cupcake. 2. The store interior doesn't feel as depressing as any Wal-Marts. Although I know there's alot of Wal-Marts upgrading itself on the inside, but some reason the lighting in Wal-Mart just make you feel like you want to kill yourself. 3. Target also have a better selections of clothing design and quality of the clothes feels more superior than Wal-Mart clothing. Of course the price is sometimes higher than Wal-Mart but I believe in the philosophy "You get what you paid for." Another thing I like about Super Target is that they would have their own free e-coupons you can find on the website and print out to get some savings. For example, I am an el cheapo who likes to save as much money as possible. Every now and then they would have e-coupon to save $1 off of steaks, any cut. Then if you go on the right day, there will be another $3 off sticker on the steak because they need to sell it before it's past the "BEST BY" date. I tend to stock up by buying these cheap meats in the freezer and then when it's time for the cook off party, I would have enough meat to feed a small village and making the neighbors jealous at the same time. Yeah, that's what you get for "borrowing" my tools and not giving them back! I love this Target. It's huge and has a great selection. I found the place to be very clean on a Saturday morning, and the cashier was unintentionally hilarious. I was buying, among other things, a cooling rack for my bakeware. The cashier who spoke great English but may not have been her first language says, "That's a great rack!" I laughed so hard. (I'm a petite Asian, and my "rack" is not the most predominant feature on me.) I told her I have never been given that compliment before or expect to hear it thereafter, but thanks nonetheless. I love this Target! It's clean and sparkly. Pricing is accurate. Clothing section is organized (although I try to stay away and not spend too much!). They have tons of colors of bath and bedding. Checkout process is smooth. Bathrooms are on the clean side. It's just a solid Target. Their Starbucks could have a little faster service and stronger iced coffee, but that's just a little thing and doesn't necessarily have to do with the actual store. Happy shopping! read more

Target: Crack for the middle aged woman This review is pre-covid/pre-revamping of store layout. THis location is well stocked. Customer Service is so-so, at times it is hard to find a person when you need something, want to return an item or are looking for something specific. I, like most people who shop at Target, WILL over spend because they offer so many cute items and Target exclusives. I wish their generic brand was more competitively priced. Up and Up and Archer Farms seem to be the same if not more expensive than the national name brand items. The meat and produce in the grocery area is expensive and there is little variety. I can not understand why anyone would go there for a grocery trip. Like all Targets, it is fun to browse though the clearance sections to see if you can win big. They have Opal House... I love Opal House! Target does an excellent job supporting small business and it inclusive it what it puts in its stores. They were one of the first places to use realistic body type mannequins. The have replaced their snack bar with a starbucks in every location (some still have a snack bar). Sigh* Im not sure what deal with the devil starbucks has made. I just do not get the fascination. I just purchased 3 $25 dollar Apple gift cards. I tried to redeem as soon as I got home... all were invalid!!! one was already redeemed and 2 were invalid. i guess Apple gift cards all the time, never have I had a problem. I generally come to this target for home and beauty items... And to peruse the isles for other nonsensical treasure I'm going to convince myself we need. I don't come here for a quick grocery stop as often as I did in the past. Target has a good selection but I feel like I'm walking a mile in to get what I need and then all 15 of the people in the entire store happen to be at the one open checkout lane. However, they have self checkout now which speeds up the process. There's hardly ever a line for these if you like using them. read more
